Mit dem Treiber wird dieses U-förmige Stück als Heftklammer in das zu heftende Druckprodukt eingetrieben. Die durch das Druckprodukt getriebene Heftklammer wird mit dem Umbieger geschlossen. Claims (15)
- Device for stapling printed products, preferably automatically, comprising a stapling head for driving a staple through the back of a printed product, and a bending means for bending the open ends of the staple,
the stapling head being modular, the stapling head comprising a driving tool (1, 8, 14) and a driving tool holder (2) to be equipped with the driving tool (1, 8, 14), the driving tool (1, 8, 14) being able to be fixed to the driving tool holder (2) so as to be replaceable,
characterised in that the driving tool (1, 8, 14) can be inserted or installed in the stapling head or in the driving tool holder (2) of the stapling head by means of a tongue and groove system. - Device according to claim 1, characterised in that the driving tool (1, 8, 14) is substantially planar.
- Device according to either claim 1 or claim 2, characterised in that the driving tool (1, 8, 14) can be inserted/installed in the stapling head or in the driving tool holder (2) of the stapling head in the vertical direction by means of a tongue and groove system.
- Device according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the driving tool (1, 8, 14) comprises at least one opening or recess (13) for fastening said driving tool to the driving tool holder (2).
- Device according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the driving tool (1, 8, 14) is held on the driving tool holder (2) by a support, preferably extending over the width of the driving tool (1, 8, 14), and at least one bolt.
- Device according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the support and/or the driving tool (1, 8, 14) may be locked in position on the driving tool holder (2), preferably directly, by a locking means.
- Device according to claim 6, characterised in that the locking means is designed as a detachable connecting means, in particular as a screw connection, wing screw, spring detent, locking catch, quick release mechanism, etc.
- Device according to either claim 6 or claim 7, characterised in that the locking means is motorised.
- Device according to any one of claims 6 to 8, characterised in that the locking means can be controlled by software.
- Device according to any one of claims 6 to 9, characterised in that the driving tool (1, 8, 14) comprises a recess or opening in the region of the locking means, the opening or recess being designed such that the locking means does not come into contact with the driving tool (1, 8, 14).
- Device according to any one of claims 1 to 10, comprising a plurality of different driving tools, each of which can be considered a driver module, and wherein the driving tool holder (2) can be equipped with different driver modules as a driving tool (1, 8, 14), wherein the different driver modules are each intended for acting on or driving differently formed staples.
- Device according to any one of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that a driver module for acting on or driving a, preferably preformed, staple comprising a rectilinear rear part is provided as the driving tool (1, 8, 14), and/or
in that a driver module for acting on or driving a, preferably preformed, staple comprising a ring eyelet is provided as the driving tool (1, 8, 14). - Device according to any one of claims 1 to 12, characterised in that, according to the desired type of staple, the corresponding driver module can be inserted in a modular manner into the driving tool holder (2) as a driving tool (1, 8, 14).
- Device according to any one of claims 1 to 13, characterised in that a detection device is provided for identifying the driving tool (1, 8, 14).
- Stapling head, in particular for a device for stapling printed products according to any one of claims 1 to 14, comprising a driving tool (1, 8, 14) and a driving tool holder (2) to be equipped with the driving tool (1, 8, 14), the driving tool (1, 8, 14) being fixed to the driving tool holder (2) in a modular manner and so as to be replaceable,
characterised in that the driving tool (1, 8, 14) can be inserted or installed in the driving tool holder (2) by means of a tongue and groove system.
