Die Erfindung betrifft einen Behälter mit einem Behälterkörper, der eine Behälterwandung aufweist und einen Aufnahmeraum für ein Packgut bildet, wobei der Behälter eine Ausgabeöffnung zur Ausgabe des Packgutes und einen Behälterverschluss zum Verschließen der Ausgabeöffnung aufweist, wobei der Behälterverschluss einen Deckel aufweist, der eine geschlossene Stellung einnehmen kann, in der der Deckel die Ausgabeöffnung verschließt, und wobei der Deckel aus der geschlossenen Stellung in eine geöffnete Stellung bewegt werden kann, in der die Ausgabeöffnung geöffnet ist, wobei eine Kindersicherung vorgesehen ist, die ein an dem Deckel angeordnetes erstes Verriegelungselement aufweist, das mit einem behälterseitigen zweiten Verriegelungselement zusammenwirkt, wobei das erste und zweite Verriegelungselement zueinander eine Verriegelungsstellung einnehmen können, in der der Deckel in der geschlossenen Stellung fixiert wird, und wobei das erste und zweite Verriegelungselement relativ zueinander aus der Verriegelungsstellung in eine Freigabestellung bewegbar sind, in der der Deckel in die geöffnete Stellung bewegt werden kann. Ein solcher Behälter mit Kindersicherung eignet sich besonders gut für medizinische Produkte, wie insbesondere Tabletten. Auf diese Weise können das erste und das zweite Verriegelungselement verrasten und zueinander eine Verriegelungsstellung einnehmen, in der der Deckel 12 in der geschlossenen Stellung fixiert wird. Das erste und das zweite Verriegelungselement 18, 19 können relativ zueinander aus der Verriegelungsstellung in eine Freigabestellung bewegt werden, in der der Deckel 12 in die geöffnete Stellung bewegt werden kann. Bei dem dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel kann hierzu das als elastischer Federarm ausbildete erste Verriegelungselement 18 soweit nach innen zum Behälterkörper 1 hin bewegt werden, bis der hakenförmige Vorsprung an dem zweiten Verriegelungselement vorbei bewegt wird.
