Diese, z.B. als Strahlregler ausgebildeten Funktionseinheiten weisen ein Gehäuse auf, das eine abströmseitige und beispielsweise als Strömungsgleichrichter ausgestaltete Gehäuse-Stirnfläche mit einer Vielzahl von Ausströmöffnungen hat. Um solche vorbekannten Funktionseinheiten am Auslaufende der Auslaufarmatur montieren zu können, hat man bereits Funktionseinheiten geschaffen, die an dem Gehäuse-Außenumfang ihres Gehäuses ein Außengewinde tragen, mit dem das Gehäuse in ein am Innenumfang der Auslaufarmatur vorgesehenes Innengewinde einschraubbar ist. Um die zum Verschrauben der korrespondierenden Gewinde erforderliche Drehkraft auf das Gehäuse aufbringen zu können, sind am abströmseitigen Stirnumfangsrand oder am Gehäuseumfangsrandbereich Profilierungen vorgesehen, die als Drehangriffs- oder Werkzeugangriffsflächen für ein Drehwerkzeug dienen.
