  • the accommodation portion 120 has four sides, where a top side 121 gives a place where an eyelash is located and has an arc shape similar to an outer shape of the eye, a left side 122 and a right side 123 have straight shapes so that the movable portion 130 moves therein, and a bottom side 124 may have a straight shape though not being limited thereto.
  • the movable portion 130 is included in the accommodation portion 120, and the movable portion 130 has the same shape as the accommodation portion 120 and a smaller height than the accommodation portion 120 so that the accommodation portion 120 may move vertically.
  • the top end 131 of the movable portion 130 has the same shape as the top side 121, and an eyelash is fixed between the top end 131 and the top side 121.
  • a spring 111 is connected between the base 110 and the movable portion 130, and the spring 111 is configured to always give a compressing force so that the top end 131 of the movable portion 130 keeps in contact with the top side 121.
  • a protrusion 132 may be formed at a lower end of the movable portion 130 so that the movable portion 130 may be easily moved.
  • a protrusion 132 may also be formed on the base 110 at a location corresponding to the protrusion 132 so that the movable portion 130 may be easily moved by gripping the protrusion 132.
  • a plurality of grooves 135 are formed in the top end 131 of the movable portion 130 at regular intervals for alignment of eyelashes, as shown in Fig. 3 .
  • the groove 135 may have any shape, and a triangular shape is advantageous when accommodating eyelashes.
  • the grooves 135 may be formed at the top side 121 or at both of the top side 121 and the top end 131. When being formed at both of the top side 121 and the top end 131, the grooves 135 may be provided so that grooves at both of the top side 121 and the top end 131 correspond to each other. In other words, if the groove 135 of the top end 131 has a convex shape, the groove 135 formed in the top side 121 may have a concave shape so that the grooves 135 may engage with each other, which is effective in alignment of eyelashes.
  • the groove 135 may protrude to the front so that the attaching unit 400, explained later, may be aligned with eyelashes.
  • a contact portion between the top end 131 and the top side 121 may have two stages as shown in Fig. 4 .
  • This contact structure enhances alignment with the grooves 135 since eyelashes may be bent appropriately.
  • the movable portion 130 moves to a lower end of the accommodation portion 120 to form a space between the top side 121 and the top end 131, and if eyelashes are located in the space and the gripped protrusion 132 is released, the eyelashes are strongly fixed to the top side 121 and the top end 131 due to the spring 111, and also the eyelashes are aligned by the grooves 135, which allows attachment of eyelashes later.
  • the adhesive 202 may be melted at a specific temperature, and the melting temperature may be appropriately selected, at least from 40°C to 80°C. If the melting point is lower than 40°C, eyelash extensions attached to the eyelashes may be detached at normal temperature. If the melting point is higher than 80°C, a user may be burned during treatment.
  • the clip 300 plays a role of transferring the heat generated by the attaching unit 400, explained later, to the eyelash extension set 200 and also supporting the eyelash extension set 200.
  • the clip 300 is composed of a lower end portion 310 and an upper end portion 350 and may be made of metal material with excellent heat transfer.
  • the lower end portion 310 includes a flat portion 311 and sidewalls 312 bent from the flat portion 311 at both sides thereof.
  • a projection 313 is formed at the center of the sidewall 312 for fixture, respectively.
  • lower walls 314 are formed at both sides below the flat portion 311, and a projection 315 is also formed for fixing each lower wall 314.
  • an upper wall 351 is formed at a side of the upper end portion 350, and a plurality of projections 352 are formed on the upper wall 351.
  • the projection 352 is formed by compression molding, so that one side of the projection 352 has a convex shape like a projection and the other side has a concave shape to which a protrusion of another projection may be coupled.
  • the upper end portion 350 may be coupled to or separated from the lower end portion 310.
  • the upper end portion 350 and the lower end portion 310 may be, for example, fabricated by cutting and shaping a single metal plate, which may enhance productivity.
  • the eyelash extension set 200 is located between the upper end portion 350 and the lower end portion 310, so that the eyelash extension set 200 may be fixed by coupling the upper end portion 350 and the lower end portion 310.
  • the eyelash extension set 200 and the clip 300 may be integrated as a single product.
  • the attaching unit 400 plays a role of melting the adhesive of the eyelash extension set 200 integrated with the clip 300 and attaching the eyelash extension set 200 to an eyelash. Therefore, the attaching unit 400 includes a heating portion, and also includes a pressing portion for manual work.
  • the attaching unit 400 is composed of a lower body 410 and an upper body 450, and one ends of the lower body 410 and the upper body 450 are connected using a hinge 470 so as to be pivotal. If necessary, a stopper 471 for stopping a pivotal movement may be located at the lower body 410, which is one side of the hinge 470, so as to limit relative rotations of the lower body 410 and the upper body 450.
  • a rotary spring 472 is connected between the lower body 410 and the upper body 450, and the rotary spring 472 always give a compressing force so that the lower body 410 and the upper body 450 maintain an opened state.
  • a lower tip 420 made of metal is attached to the other end of the lower body 410.
  • the upper surface of the lower tip 420 is formed flat so that the clip 300 may be placed thereon, and the lower tip 420 includes a heating unit 421 therein to give a heat by an external power source.
  • the heating unit 421 may be operated by a manual switch located at the lower body 410 or the upper body 450, and the heating unit 421 may be implemented as an operation switch 429 which is formed to protrude on the lower body 410 so as to operate when the upper body 450 approaches the lower body 410 with a certain angle.
  • the power source may be an external power source connected thereto, and if necessary, a battery may be used for recharging. In addition, it is also possible to use an external power source and a battery together.
  • a lower groove 423 is formed at a side of the lower tip 420 to accommodate the projection 315 formed on the lower wall 312 of the lower end portion 310 of the clip 300, so that the lower end portion 310 may be fixed to an accurate location.
  • a plurality of alignment grooves 424 for aligning eyelashes are formed at a front edge of the lower tip 420, and the alignment grooves 424 may exactly align eyelashes in association with the grooves 135 of the eyelash fixture 100.
  • the upper body 450 includes an upper tip 460 at a lower end, which is in contact with the lower tip 420.
  • the upper tip 460 may be made of the same material as the lower tip 420, and plays a role of pressing the eyelash extension set 200 for adhesion with eyelashes. Therefore, the lower surface of the upper tip 460 may be flat.
  • an alignment groove 462 may be formed at a front edge of the upper tip 460 in the same way as the lower tip 420.
  • the upper tip 460 plays a role of pressing the eyelash extension set 200 and the eyelashes located at the clip 300. If the attachment is completed, the upper end portion 350 and the lower end portion 310 of the clip 300 are separated and respectively fixed to the upper tip 460 and the lower tip 420, and the eyelash extension set 200 located between the upper end portion 350 and the lower end portion 310 is attached to the eyelashes, thereby completing the work.
  • the reason for separating the upper end portion 350 and the lower end portion 310 of the clip 300 as described above is to prevent the adhesive 202 of the eyelash extension set 200 from being attached to a portion other than the eyelashes and thus being not detached.
  • the clip 300 may be removed, and the eyelash extension set 200 and the clip 300 may be provided as an integrated product and may also be used as a disposable.
  • the eyelash extension attaching instrument 10 includes an eyelash fixture 100, an eyelash extension set 200, a clip 300 for storing and fixing the eyelash extension set 200, and an attaching unit 400.
  • an integrated product of the eyelash extension set 200 and the clip 300 is fixed to the lower tip 420 of the attaching unit 400.
  • the upper body 450 of the attaching unit 400 is pressed for a predetermined time so that the adhesive 202 is melted and eyelash extensions are adhered to the eyelashes.
  • the attaching unit 400 separately includes the heating unit 421 at the front of the lower tip 420 or upper tip 460, the eyelash extension set 200 coated with an adhesive should be located out of the clip 300.
  • the clip 300 may be made of synthetic resin.
