Es wird eine Beleuchtungseinrichtung vorgeschlagen, deren an ein Versorgungsnetz angeschlossene, mit Leuchtmitteln bestückte Leiterplatte von einem einen gezielten Lichtaustritt ermöglichenden Gehäuse (1) umgeben ist, wobei das Gehäuse (1) mit seinem Lichtaustrittsbereich (4) einstückig aus einem entsprechend gekürzten Stück Endlosprofil besteht. Das separate Optikelement 8 ist stabförmig ausgebildet und einstückig mit einer Lichtbeeinflussungsstruktur versehen, welche mehrere zweite Rillen 10 aufweist, die quer zur Längsrichtung des Gehäuses 1 verlaufen. Durch die unterschiedliche Ausgestaltung der Optikausbildung des Lichtaustrittsbereiches 4 und der Lichtbeeinflussungsstruktur des Optikelementes 8 wird das von den Leuchtmitteln 3 abgegebene Licht derart gelenkt und ausgerichtet, dass es zu einer gleichmäßigen Lichtüberlagerung mit gegebenenfalls homogener Farblichtmischung kommt.
