Abstract

The table, in particular a standing high table, comprises, in several removable elements, a foot (1) and an upper plate (4), the foot comprising a body comprising at least one flared hollow element and the body of the foot has, at least a portion of its height, a continuous and transparent wall all around the perimeter of the foot, and the table comprises at least one removable inner shelf (5) placed inside the body (2) of the foot at level of the transparent wall and supported by the body wall.

Description

The present invention relates to a high table type table also commonly called high bar, which can also serve as a display.

There are already known type of high bar tables that are stackable or collapsible for easy transport.

For example, FR794102 or FR2573968 describe tables having a removable tray and a generally conical shaped hollow foot having a larger diameter downwards, allowing, after disassembly of the foot and the tray, to stack the feet of several tables by fitting them one into the 'other.

EP0504770 also discloses a top table of the same general type, having a hollow frustoconical foot, and the plate has a central bore so as to fit on the upper end of smaller diameter of the truncated cone. This document also shows a table with a frustoconical foot whose smaller diameter is located downwards, the plate resting on the end of larger diameter, and a complementary base receiving in socket the end of smaller diameter of the foot.

We also know by US 4929021 or US5171060 furniture such as stool or table having a foot in a transparent material to have inside the colored materials, lighting to further illuminate this material through the inside of the foot to produce a visible visual effect of the outside of the foot.

We also know, for example by FR1348453 , tables whose tray is arranged so as to include an advertising document or other decorative sheet.

It is also known, for example, by GB1518172 or GB1453850 , bar furniture whose foot is in the form of a wooden barrel with a transparent door. Only the door and transparent and moreover it gives access in current use to the objects placed inside. The purpose of these furniture bars is by no means to constitute a display stand or showcase.

The object of the invention is to propose a new high table system having an attractive visual appearance and allowing the presentation of various objects, placed in particular inside the table leg and visible by transparency, without however making possible an access direct to the objects exposed during the current use of these tables. Such tables being in particular intended for temporary events, another object of the invention is to allow a facilitated transport on the one hand a design for quick and easy disassembly and secondly the possibility of stacking under a lesser volume of at least some of the elements.

With these objectives in view, the object of the invention is a high display table of the upright type, comprising, in several removable elements, a foot and an upper plate, the foot comprising a body formed of at least one hollow element.

According to the invention, the table is characterized in that at least one hollow element of the body of the foot is flared and the body of the foot comprises, on at least part of its height, a continuous and transparent wall around the perimeter of the foot , and the table has at least one removable inner shelf, placed inside the body of the foot at the level of the transparent wall and supported by the wall of the body.

The said tablet or tablets will allow to place various objects, visible outside the foot, regardless of the position of the observer around the table. The table according to the invention is therefore both a display, having an informative space or advertising attractive while allowing its use as a normal table, type eats standing in particular.

The transparent wall of the body of the foot is continuous and completely transparent, all around its periphery, so that the objects placed inside are visible all around the table. The table according to the invention makes it possible to see the objects presented, but does not give access to it during its current use, just like the windows of a museum. It is only by dismantling the foot, or at least the tray, that one can have access to the shelves of exhibition and the objects which are placed there.

The flared shape of at least one element constituting the foot, essentially of generally conical or hemispherical shape, and the possibility of separating the various constituent elements of the table, also make it possible to stack several of these flared hollow elements constituting several tables, nested in each other, and thus reduces the size for transport. Such tables are in particular intended for temporary events, and these arrangements make it possible to ensure easy transport, thanks to, on the one hand, a design allowing a quick and easy dismantling and, on the other hand, the possibility of to stack at least some of the elements under a smaller volume.

According to a particular arrangement, the body member receiving the tablet or tablets is flared upwards, having a generally frustoconical or hemispherical shape, and each tablet is supported by a groove or notches formed on the inner surface of the body wall. Alternatively, the inner wall may be configured to form or receive shelf support tabs.

To facilitate the establishment and removal of tablets, they will advantageously include a means of introduction and removal, for example a central hole or peripheral notches etc.

As will be seen later, the invention allows above all, while ensuring a great ease of storage and transport by the stacking nature of at least some of the constituent elements such as tray, body elements, pedestals, to provide tables with a marked aesthetic appearance, attractive forms, particularly suitable as advertising media for high-end products.

The Figures 1 and 2 show a champagne flute shaped table, comprising a foot 1 formed of a foot body 2 and a base 3, and an upper plate 4.

The foot body 2 is hollow, of frustoconical shape with a larger diameter located towards its upper end. The body wall is made of transparent plastic, for example plexiglass ®, or glass for higher-end tables.

In the example presented, two shelves 5 are placed inside the body 2, at two levels, the number of shelves can be modified as needed. The tablets 5 are made for example of plexiglass® or glass and preferably supported by circular grooves 51 formed on the inner wall of the body of the foot. It will also be possible to use as support means tablets of simple notches or cleats 52, as shown figure 6 , adequately secured, for example by gluing, on the wall of the body. In the latter case, the cleats are preferentially made of transparent material, to remain as discrete as possible, and their thickness will be small, a few millimeters for example, not to interfere with a good stack of table legs for storage or transport. It should be noted that these shelf support means serve essentially to facilitate the positioning and to ensure the horizontality of the shelves 2, insofar as the conicity of the body alone is otherwise sufficient to guarantee the maintenance of the shelves.

The body 2 is assembled on the base 3 by a threaded end 21 or with lugs for a rotary snap type assembly, quarter turn or bayonet. The tip 21 may also incorporate a light source 22, directed upwards to provide illumination of the inside of the body of the foot.

The plate 4 comprises from below a centering disk 41 intended to ensure the positioning of the plate centered on the upper edge 23 of the body 2, and its fastening by screwing or rotary detent 43, as illustrated. figure 5 . A luminaire 42 may also be adapted to the disc 41 to provide additional illumination of the interior of the foot.

Advantageously, as represented also figure 5 , the tray will be assembled separably on the centering disc 41, this to modify the trays as needed, or to reuse pre-existing trays, while keeping the same assembly system of the tray on the foot.

The tray can also be arranged to present advertising information, for example between a tray body and a removable transparent coating, in a manner known per se.

Like the body 2 of the foot, the base 3 is preferably hollow, so that the bases of several tables can be stacked nested in each other. The base 3 can be made of chromed steel or other materials, for example white diffusing PVC for creating in the foot lighting effects and colors from an internal light source or the light source placed in the base. mouthpiece 21 of the body. To increase the stability of the table, a ballast 31 can be adapted under the base 3, also assembled by a rotary detent system 32 for example, as shown figure 5 .

The second table model 100 shown Figures 3 and 4 comprises a foot body 102 of spherical shape, which may represent a balloon or a world map for example, constituted by the removable assembly of a lower half-sphere 1021 and an upper half-sphere 1022. The plate 104 is assembled on the upper half-sphere 1022 by screwing or notching on another endpiece 1024 integral with the upper half-sphere.

As in the first example of table, luminaires may also be arranged, for illuminating the foot body, and / or the base, for example integrated in the tips 1023, 1024.

The figure 7 represents a third table model, or the foot 200 is shaped in section. The foot body 202 is then constituted of a single piece having the hemispherical sectional shape 2021 in the upper part surmounting a frustoconical base 2022. A shelf 305 is disposed within this lower portion 301, supported by tabs 352 secured to the wall of this lower part. Another shelf 306 is placed at the junction between the two parts 301 and 302.

The upper plate 304 is pierced at its center and inserted on the neck of the bottle whose conical shape determines the positioning of the plate, at the level where the diameter of the neck is equal to that of the drilling of the plate. The positioning can be specified by producing a groove 3025 outside the neck on which the plate comes to rest, which also prevents the plate from getting jammed on the neck, due to the low taper of the neck at this level. .

To complete the similarity with a bottle of champagne, a cap 307 is inserted into the upper part of the neck, this cap can then advantageously include lighting means 308 for illuminating the inside of the bottle and the objects placed on the bottles. shelves 305 and 306.

In this model, the upper portions 302 can be stacked by nesting into each other. The lower parts could also be stackable by means of making them also with sufficient conicity. Note that these lower parts may also have in horizontal section, a non-circular shape, for example oval or polygonal, square or rectangular, the shapes and dimensions of the inner shelf or shelves being adapted accordingly. The horizontal section of the upper part may also not be circular, over its entire height or for example gradually passing from a polygonal shape downwards to a circular shape, representing a neck of bottle classically round, upwards. These provisions are particularly designed to reproduce the shapes of any bottle or bottle existing on the market, whether for drinks, perfumes, etc.

The last model represented Figures 10 and 11 has two parts of generally frustoconical shape, assembled by their ends of smaller diameter. A first portion 401 has a lower height than the second portion 402. The assembly can be reversed upside down to form a table stand of different appearance. Each part is shaped to receive one or more shelves 405, so that, whatever the direction of use, one or more shelves can be placed in the bet lying upward, thus presenting a conicity flaring towards the high. The downward portion serves as a base, and, the largest diameters of the two parts being identical, the plate 404 can be adapted indifferently on one or the other part.

The invention is not limited to the embodiments described above.

In particular, the shape of the feet will not necessarily be of revolution, that is to say may have a non-circular horizontal section, for example of square, triangular or polygonal general shape, but always with at least one element having a conicity adapted to allow the stacking of several elements nested one inside the other and also to fit one or more tablets and / or the upper plate.

The shapes will be chosen for their attractive appearance, representative of quality products, high-end, such as flute or champagne cup, bottle of champagne, or having analogies with particular events, for example sports. The flute-shaped model may for example be made of a material impregnated with bubbles to give an appearance of champagne bubbles. The model with spherical foot can for example be adapted by replacing the representative sphere of a football by a more ovoid shape representative of a rugby ball.

The lighting means will preferably consist of light diodes, which can be multicolored, battery-powered and remotely controlled. Their fixing can be ensured by screwing, rotating detent, or by magnets.

Openings may also be made in the wall of the foot, or a component of the foot, to allow a touch of the products presented.

For models of spherical type, the upper plate may also be provided with a central circular opening and adapted directly through this opening on the upper half-sphere, so as to leave the inside of the foot apparent through the opening of the tray.

In this case, and in the case of the bottle, it may also have several outer trays, with openings of different diameters, and therefore located at different heights.

It will also be possible to use a single tray, then elongate or enlarged surface, to cover two or more feet made according to the invention.

For all models, in particular bottle type or having a foot with a spherical portion, or substantially spherical, may be applied to at least a portion of the surface of the foot, for example by screen printing, etching, etc. drawings, logos, brands or advertising slogans, and in general all desired decorations, for example the representation of a balloon or a world map on the spherical part of the foot, such additions can also benefit from an attractive way of a internal lighting, fixed or variable. All these possibilities can be combined to enhance the products on the shelves.
