Das Filterelement ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Filterkörper des Filterelementes aus einem ersten Filterteil mit ebener Grundfläche und einem zweiten Filterteil mit ebener Grundfläche besteht, dass die Filterteile lösbar miteinander verbunden sind, dass in die Grundflächen der Filterteile jeweils mindestens ein Schlitz eingebracht ist, dass jeder Schlitz in dem ersten Filterteil zu jedem Schlitz in dem zweiten Filterteil versetzt angeordnet ist, dass das Filterelement einen Griff umfasst, mittels dessen das Filterelement in eine Ansaugöffnung einer Dunstabzugshaube eingebracht und aus dieser entnommen werden kann, dass der Griff zur Betätigung zumindest eines Befestigungselementes dient, mittels dessen das Filterelement in der Ansaugöffnung befestigt oder gehalten wird, dass der Griff zwischen dem ersten Filterteil und dem zweiten Filterteil angeordnet ist und zumindest teilweise zwischen den beiden Filterteilen gehalten ist und dass ein Verbindungselement, das zum Verbinden der beiden Filterteile des Filterkörpers dient, an dem Griff eingreift.According to a first aspect, the invention therefore relates to a filter element for an extractor hood for separating impurities from fumes. Indem die Filterteile jeweils eine ebene GrundflƤche aufweisen, ist zum einen der Bauraum, den das Filterelement im eingebauten Zustand in Anspruch nimmt geringer, als bei einem Filterelement, das beispielsweise ein Kegelform oder die Form eines Pyramidenstumpfes aufweist. Das erfindungsgemäße Filterelement weist vielmehr eine Form auf, die der Form herkƶmmlicher Filterkassetten entspricht. Somit kann beispielsweise eine Streckmetall-Filterkassette durch das erfindungsgemäße Filterelement ersetzt werden, ohne, dass bauliche Ƅnderungen an der Dunstabzugshaube vorgenommen werden müssen. Zudem ist durch die ebene GrundflƤche ein gleichmäßiges Anstrƶmen von Lufteinlassƶffnungen, insbesondere Schlitzen, in der GrundflƤche gewƤhrleistet. Weiterhin sind der Aufbau und damit die Herstellung des Filterelementes durch die Filterteile mit ebenen GrundflƤchen vereinfacht. Schließlich ist auch die Reinigung des Filterelementes bei Filterteilen mit ebener GrundflƤche vereinfacht. Insbesondere die Unterseite des Filterelementes wird von dem verunreinigten Wrasen unmittelbar angestrƶmt. Claims (10)

  1. Filter element for an extractor hood for separating impurities from steam with an at least partially air-permeable filter body (10), wherein the filter body (10) of the filter element (1) consists of a first filter part (11) with a flat base area (110) and a second filter part (12) with a flat base part (120), the filter parts (11, 12) are connected to one another in a releasable manner, at least one slot (13) is introduced into the base areas (110, 120) of the filter parts (11, 12) in each case, each slot (13) in the first filter part (11) is arranged such that it is offset in relation to each slot (13) in the second filter part (12), the filter element (1) comprises a handle (4), by means of which the filter element can be introduced into a suction opening of an extractor hood and can be removed therefrom, the handle (4) is arranged between the first filter part (11) and the second filter part (12) and is retained at least partially between the two filter parts (11, 12) and a connecting element, which serves to connect the two filter parts of the filter body, engages at the handle (4), characterised in that the handle (4) at least partially serves to activate at least one fastening element, by means of which the filter element is fastened or retained in the suction opening.
  2. Filter element according to claim 1, characterised in that at least one of the filter parts (11, 12) has at least one protrusion (14, 15, 16) that projects from the respective base area (110, 120), and the filter parts (11, 12) are preferably embodied in one piece in each case.
  3. Filter element according to claim 2, characterised in that at least one protrusion (14, 15, 16) represents an edge strip (16) on at least one of the filter parts (11, 12), the edge strip (16) is embodied in one piece with the base area (110, 120) of the filter part (11, 12) on which it is provided and is bent out from the plane of the base area (110, 120).
