Die Erfindung betrifft ein Leuchtenelement und eine Leuchte gemäss dem Oberbegriff der Patentansprüche 1 und 4. So besteht ein Reflektor, der das vom Leuchtmittel abgestrahlte Licht in die gewünschte Richtung lenken soll, z.B. aus einem opaken Kunststoffmaterial, auf dessen Innenseite eine reflektierende oder streuende Schicht aufgebracht ist. Für den Zweck dieser Beschreibung umfasst der Begriff "Reflektor" somit auch Leuchtenelemente, die das einfallende Licht diffus reflektieren. Eine Diffusorscheibe besteht aus einem transparenten oder semi-transparenten Material, beispielsweise aus Acrylglas oder Polycarbonat. Gemäss dem Stand der Technik werden die unterschiedlichen Leuchtenelemente je nach ihrer Funktion und ihrem dementsprechenden Material aus verschiedenen stranggepressten Profilen oder abgekanteten, gerundeten oder anders umgeformten Blechen hergestellt und in das Leuchtengehäuse eingesetzt, wo sie mittels möglichst einfachen Verbindungselementen, vorzugsweise durch Einrasten von Nuten und dergl. an Rippen und dergl., gehalten sind. - Luminaire according to any of claims 4 to 7, characterized in that the housing (1) has a cross section that is open at the bottom and a second region of the lamp element (8) is designed as a transparent or scattering disk, in particular as a diffuser disk (10), that covers the open cross section of the housing (1).
