Description
- The invention relates to lighting assemblies for shelving device, comprising a support for displaying articles, at least one lighting device and a mounting element.
- The invention further relates to a shelving device comprising such lighting assemblies.
- Shelving devices, also named gondola, are well known and comprise a base, two vertical columns which extend from the base, a back panel directly mounted on and between the vertical columns, two spacers and a plurality of shelves, also named sales shelves, each mounted on the vertical columns.
- The back panel comprises an upper edge and a lower edge opposite to the upper edge, which upper and lower edges are each coming into abutment against the respective spacers. The spacers are also disposed between the two vertical columns and are mounted, like the back panel, on respective interior lateral faces of the vertical columns.
- Each shelf comprises an upper face, a lower face, a front face and two lateral sides.
- The shelving device further comprises lighting devices and label holders both mounted on the shelf.
- The international application
WO 2008/152973 describes a similar shelving device which comprises a mounting element having a main block fixed to the front face of the shelf by the intermediary of a fastening interface, and a plurality of auxiliary blocks mounted on the main block. - The main block comprises two grooves having inner faces which are each provided with an electrode portion. The electrode portions form permanently integrated electrical connections.
- The lighting devices here formed by light emitting diodes are located on first auxiliary blocks which are each partially introduced into a respective groove of the main block.
- The light emitting diodes are covered by second auxiliary blocks which are also each partially introduced into the respective groove of the main block.
- A paper label holder is mounted on a second auxiliary block.
- The invention is directed to a lighting system for shelving device, comprising a support for displaying articles, at least one lighting device and a mounting element, which system is convenient, simple and economic.
- The invention accordingly provides a lighting system for shelving device, comprising a support for displaying articles, at least one lighting device, at least one electrical connecting member which is configured to be electrically connected to said at least one lighting device for electrically supplying the latter, and a mounting element which is configured for bearing said at least one lighting device and said at least one electrical connecting member and to be mounted on said support, wherein said mounting element is formed by a single molded body made of plastic material, said body having a fastening face and a displaying face at the opposite from said fastening face and comprising at least one first cavity which is configured for removably receiving said at least one electrical connecting member and two second cavities which are each configured for stationary receive said at least one lighting device, said mounting element being configured so that said at least one lighting device has a first general direction of light emission directed towards said support when said at least one lighting device is received into one of said two cavities, and said at least one lighting device has a second general direction of light emission directed away from said support when said at least one lighting device is received into the other of said two cavities; and said mounting element is directly fixed on the support.
- Thanks to the invention, the at least one lighting device is not fixed in a single and permanent position in which the light is only diffused in a predetermined direction.
- Contrarily, the lighting system according to the invention allows the selection of the placement of the at least one lighting device on the mounting member depending on the general direction of light emission relative to the support and more generally to the shelving device, which is needed.
- Such a selection is possible thanks to the integration of the at least one electrical connecting member into the lighting system and more precisely thanks to the arrangement into a first cavity of the body of the mounting element.
- The invention makes it possible to have a system provided with a single mounting element, at least one electrical connecting member and at least one lighting device for carrying out different types of configurations, by virtue of a modular system of which the modules (electrical connecting member, lighting device and optionally prices and/or advertising labels and the corresponding label holders or not) are interchangeable depending on the displaying and lighting configurations carried out.
- To be precise, the lighting system according to the invention enables the lighting device to diffuse light in a general direction of light emission (or diffusion) towards and/or away from the support, which is particularly convenient.
- Further, the mounting of the mounting element on the support, the mounting of the at least one lighting device and of the electrical connecting member on the mounting element and further the arrangement of the at least one lighting device relative to the mounting element and therefore relative to the support is convenient, simple and economic.
- According to features preferred as being very simple, convenient and economical for embodying the system according to the invention:
- each of said two second cavities emerges through said fastening face or through said displaying face;
- said body comprises at least one mounting tab provided in the periphery of at least one of said two second cavities and said system further comprises at least one cap member configured to be mounted on said body by the intermediary of said at least one mounting tab for covering said second cavity;
- said at least one first cavity is formed between said two second cavities and in the vicinity of said fastening face;
- said at least one first cavity emerges through said fastening face;
- the system further comprises a fastening interface configured to be mounted on said support and said body is configured to be mounted on said fastening interface by its fastening face;
- said fastening face is provided with at least one groove configured to cooperate with a complementary fastening member;
- the system further comprises at least one label holder and said body further comprises at least one housing provided on said fastening face or on said displaying face and configured for receiving at least partially said at least one label holder;
- said at least one housing is formed by at least two latching tabs provided remote from each other and separated by one of said two second cavities, and said at least one label holder comprises at least one end configured to cooperate with said at least two latching tabs;
- said at least one housing is formed by at least one third cavity which emerges through said fastening face or through said displaying face, and said at least one label holder comprises at least one end configured to be rotatably introduced into said at least one third cavity; and/or
- said at least one label holder is formed by a paper label holder or by a digital label holder.
- The invention further provides a shelving device comprising at least one lighting system as described above.
- Like the lighting system according to the invention, the shelving device comprising such a system is particularly simple, convenient and economic.
- According to features preferred as being very simple, convenient and economical for embodying the shelving device according to the invention:
- said shelving device comprises a back panel structure and at least one shelf mounted on said back panel structure, said at least one shelf forming said at least one support;
- said at least one shelf has an upper face, a lower face at the opposite from said upper face and a front face which is linked to at least one of said upper and lower faces and said mounting element is at least partially fastened to said upper face; and/or
- said at least one shelf has an upper face, a lower face at the opposite from said upper face and a front face which is linked to at least one of said upper and lower faces and said mounting element is at least partially fastened to said front face.
- The description of the invention now continues with a detailed description of preferred embodiments given hereinafter by way of non-limiting examples and with reference to the appended drawings. In these drawings:

Figure 1 shows ashelving device 1, also named gondola, which is used to display articles (not represented). - The
shelving device 1 is configured to be disposed for instance in a supermarket and for receiving articles to display for instance for sale. - The
shelving device 1 comprises abase 2, twovertical columns 3 extending from thebase 2, aback panel structure 4 also extending from thebase 2 and disposed between the twovertical columns 3 and a plurality ofshelves 5, also named support for displaying articles. - The
base 2 is made of metal and comprises horizontal stringers (not represented) which form a frame, four side walls whose only twoside walls Figure 1 and apanel 9 which covers the frame. - The
panel 9 is flat and comprises aledge 10 extending in front of theside wall 8. - The
base 2 further comprisesfeet 6 only three of which are visible onFigure 1 . - The two
vertical columns 3 are made of metal and have each a general shape of a rod having a rectangular section. - Each vertical column comprises an exterior
lateral face 11, an interiorlateral face 15 opposite to the exteriorlateral face 11, afront face 12 and aback face 18. - A plurality of
openings 13 are provided both in thefront face 12 and in theback face 18. - Each
opening 13 has a rectangular general shape whose corners are rounded. - The
back panel structure 4 comprises a flat metalback panel module 14 which is sandwiched between the twovertical columns 3, and twospacers - The
back panel module 14 comprises a first lateral end and a second lateral end opposite to the first lateral end, which are each mounted on a respective interiorlateral face 15 of avertical column 3. - The
back panel module 14 further comprises an upper edge and a lower edge opposite to the upper edge, which upper and lower edges are each coming into abutment against arespective spacer - The
spacer 16 is disposed between the twovertical columns 3 and is mounted, like theback panel module 14, on the respective interior lateral faces 15 of thevertical columns 3. - This
spacer 16 is situated in the vicinity of the respective free ends of thevertical columns 3, opposite to thepanel 9 of thebase 2. - The
spacer 17 is also disposed between the twovertical columns 3 and is mounted, like theback panel module 14, on the respective interiorlateral face 15 of thevertical columns 3. - The
spacer 17 is thus situated at the opposite of thespacer 16, in other words in the vicinity of the respective ends of the vertical column, the ends being opposite to the free ends, and in the vicinity of thepanel 9 of thebase 2 - As shown on
Figure 1 , theshelving device 1 comprises a plurality ofshelves 5. Here, oneshelf 5 is mounted on a front face of theshelving device 1 and fiveshelves 5 are mounted on the back of theshelving device 1. - Each
shelf 5 is configured to be mounted facing theback panel structure 4 and in particular eachshelf 5 is configured to be hung to the twovertical columns 3 thanks to hanging members like hooks (not represented), hooks which are configured to be mounted onrespective openings 13 of thevertical columns 3. - Each shelf is thus mounted on and facing the
back panel structure 4 so that eachshelf 5 overhangs thebase 2, and in particular thepanel 9. - Each
shelf 5 comprises anupper face 20, a lower face 28 (visible onFigure 2 ), two lateral faces 21 and 22 which are opposite to each other and afront face 23 linking both lateral faces 21 and 22 and further connected to theupper face 20. - The lateral faces 21 and 22 and the
front face 23 are configured to form a roof-deck for theshelf 5. - The
upper face 20, the lateral faces 21 and 22 and thefront face 23 are made from asingle metal sheet 30 which comprises twolateral edges front edge 26, all these edges being folded to form the roof-deck. - The
upper metal sheet 30 comprises two cut-outs provided respectively at a junction between thelateral edge 24 and thefront edge 26 and at a junction between thelateral edge 25 and thefront edge 26. - The
shelving device 1 further comprises at least onelighting device 34 formed here by a strip of light emitting diodes (named LED thereinafter). - The
shelving device 1 further comprises at least one electrical connectingmember 35 formed here by an electrical cable, comprising for instance coaxial wires or an optical fiber, and configured to be electrically connected to the at least oneLED strip 34 for electrically supplying the latter. - The
shelving device 1 further comprises a mountingelement 33 which is configured for bearing the at least oneLED strip 34 and the at least one electrical connectingmember 35 and to be mounted on theshelf 5. - The
shelf 5, the at least oneLED strip 34, the at least one electrical connectingmember 35 and the mountingelement 33 form alighting system 31 for theshelving device 1. - We will now describe in detail a first embodiment of the
lighting system 31 in reference toFigures 2 to 7 . - In
Figures 2 and3 is shown alighting system 31 respectively in a first configuration and in a second configuration. - The mounting
element 33 is formed by a single moldedbody 40 made of plastic material. - The
body 40 has afastening face 41 which is here flat and a displayingface 42 at the opposite of thefastening face 41, the displayingface 42 being here of arc shape. - The displaying
face 42 comprises afirst arc portion 53, asecond arc portion 54 at the opposite from thefirst arc portion 53 and a thirdflat portion 55 located between the first andsecond arc portions - The
body 40 further comprises afirst cavity 43 which emerges from thefastening face 41. - The
first cavity 43 comprises amain opening 46 of U-shape and anauxiliary opening 47 provided in thebody 40 and which emerges in themain opening 46. - The
body 40 further comprises twosecond cavities 44 which are similar and each formed for respectively emerging through thefirst arc portion 53 and thesecond arc portion 54 of the displayingface 42. - Each
second cavity 44 defines a space defined by two innerlateral walls 49 which are opposite and by aninner bottom wall 48 which is linked to both innerlateral walls 49. - The
body 40 further comprises two third cavities here formed byhousings 45 which each emerges in therespective fastening face 41 and thirdflat portion 55 of the displayingface 42. - Each
housing 45 comprises anindentation portion 50 which emerges on the respective fastening and displayingfaces bottom portion 51 of round-shape located in thebody 40 and linked to an end of theindentation portion 50. - The
body 40 further comprises two pairs ofnotches 52 each arranged on either side of asecond cavity 44. - One pair of
notches 52 emerges through thefirst arc portion 53 of the displayingface 42, onenotch 52 being located in the vicinity of one extremity of the displayingface 42 and theother notch 52 being located in the vicinity of the thirdflat portion 55. - The other pair of
notches 52 emerges through thesecond arc portion 54 of the displayingface 42, onenotch 52 being located at another extremity of the displayingface 42 and theother notch 52 being located in the vicinity of the thirdflat portion 55. - Each
notch 52 defines acorner portion 60 provided in thebody 40. - The third
flat portion 55 is formed between twocorner portions 60 which face one to the other. - The
body 40 is configured so that it has a base 71 which is central, afirst leg 65 located between thefirst cavity 43 and thesecond cavity 44 which emerges through thefirst arc portion 53 of the displayingface 42, asecond leg 66 located between thefirst cavity 43 and thesecond cavity 44 which emerges through thesecond arc portion 54 of the displayingface 42, afirst foot 67 linked to thefirst leg 65 at the opposite of thebase 71 and asecond foot 68 linked to thesecond leg 66 at the opposite of thebase 71. - The
lighting system 31 here comprises twoLED strips 34, each comprising asocket 61 and being received in a respectivesecond cavity 44. - Each
LED strip 34 is housed on theinner bottom wall 48 and between the innerlateral walls 42 of each respectivesecond cavity 44. - One of the two LED strips 34 is thus located for emitting light in a first general direction of light emission directed from the
first arc portion 53 of the displayingface 42, while the other of the two LED strips 34 is located for emitting light in a second general direction of light emission directed from thesecond arc portion 54 of the displayingface 42. - The
lighting system 31 further comprises twocovers 37, each having amain face 38 and two ends 39 which are opposite. - The two covers 37 are configured to recover at least in part respectively the
first arc portion 53 and thesecond arc portion 54 of the displayingface 42, each cover 37 facing at least arespective LED strip 34. - Each
cover 37 is here mounted on the respective portion of the displayingface 42 by introducing the two ends 39 of thecover 37 in the respective pair ofnotches 52. - The electrical connecting
member 35 is here received in themain opening 46 of thefirst cavity 43 which emerges in thefastening face 41. - The electrical connecting
member 35 comprises a complementary socket (not represented) configured for cooperating with asocket 61 of each ofLED strip 34. - The
lighting system 31 further comprises alabel holder 36 receiving adigital label 57. - The
label holder 36 comprises a main holdingleg 32 for clamping thedigital label 57 and apin 56 configured to be mounted on thebody 40 of the mountingelement 33. - The
pin 56 comprises twoheads 58 opposite to each other and separated by anarm 59. - One
head 58 is linked to the main holdingleg 32 and to thearm 59 and theother head 58 is only linked to thearm 58 and forms a free end of thepin 56. - The
head 28 which forms a free end is received in thebottom portion 51 of thehousing 45 formed in the body and emerging through the thirdflat portion 55 of the displayingface 42 and thearm 59 is at least partially received in theindentation portion 50 of thishousing 45. - The
label holder 36 is configured so that the main holdingleg 32 is articulated to thehead 58 to which the leg is linked. The digital label is thus movable between a plurality of positions. - In
Figure 2 , the lighting system is in the first configuration in which the mountingelement 33 is fixed on theupper face 20 of theshelf 5 by the intermediary of itsfastening face 41, which is for instance directly glued or screwed on theupper face 20. - In this first configuration, the
LED strip 34 which is received in thesecond cavity 44 emerging in thefirst arc portion 53 of the displayingface 42 has its first general direction of light emission directed towards theshelving device 1, while theLED strip 34 which is received in thesecond cavity 44 emerging through thesecond arc portion 44 of the displayingface 42 has its second general direction of light emission directed away from theshelving device 1 and therefore towards the neighboring environment. - In this first configuration, the
digital label 57 extends from the thirdflat portion 55 of the displayingface 42 between the first and second general directions of light emission defined by the location of the two LED strips 34. - The
digital label 57 is further articulated and therefore movable between at least two positions illustrated (Figure 2 ). - In
Figure 3 , thelighting system 31 is in the second configuration in which the mountingelement 33 is fixed on theupper face 20 of theshelf 5 by the intermediary of only a part of thefastening face 41 of this mountingelement 33, so that thebody 40 of the mountingelement 33 is cantilevered relative to theshelf 5. - In this second configuration, the two
LED strips 34 are similarly arranged as in the first configuration but thelabel holder 32 here extends from thefastening face 41 of thebody 40 of the mountingelement 33. - The
pin 56 of thelabel holder 36 is at least partially received in thehousing 45 which emerges through thefastening face 41. - The
head 58 which forms the free end of thepin 56 is received in thebottom portion 51 and thearm 59 is at least partially received in theindentation portion 50 of thishousing 45. Thehousing 45 which emerges through the thirdflat portion 55 of the displayingface 42 is here empty. - In this second configuration, the
label holder 36 extends away from the first and second general directions of light emission defined by theLED strip 34. - The
label holder 36 is here articulated and therefore thedigital label 57 is movable between at least two positions represented onFigure 3 . -
Figures 4 to 7 illustrate a variant embodiment of the lighting system ofFigures 2 and3 . - In general, we have used the same reference numbers for similar parts, but increased by 100.
- The
lighting system 131 is mounted on theupper face 120 of theshelf 105 which is here made from wood. Thisshelf 105 further comprises afrontal face 123 andlower face 128. - The
lighting system 131 comprises abody 140 which is almost similar to thebody 40 of thelighting system 31. - The
body 140 has aflat fastening face 141 and anarc displaying face 42 having afirst arc portion 153, asecond arc portion 154 and a thirdflat portion 155. - The
body 140 further comprises afirst cavity 143 having amain opening 146 of U-shape emerging through thefastening face 141 and twoauxiliary openings 147 provided in thebody 140 on either side of themain opening 146; and twosecond cavities 144 emerging through the first andsecond arc portions second cavity 144 defines a space defined by two innerlateral walls 149 which are opposite and by aninner bottom wall 148. - The
body 140 further comprises twohousings 145 which each emerges in therespective fastening face 141 and thirdflat portion 155 of the displayingface 142. - Each
housing 145 comprises anindentation portion 150 which emerges on the respective fastening and displayingfaces bottom portion 151 of general round-shape. - The
body 140 further comprises twotongues 163 formed around theindentation portion 150 of thehousing 145 which emerges through the thirdflat portion 155 of the displayingface 142. - The
body 140 further comprises two pairs ofnotches 152 each arranged on either side of asecond cavity 144. Eachnotch 152 defines acorner portion 160 provided in thebody 140. - The
body 140 is configured so that it has a base 171 which is central, afirst leg 165 located between thefirst cavity 143 and thesecond cavity 144 which emerges through thefirst arc portion 153 of the displayingface 142, asecond leg 166 located between thefirst cavity 143 and thesecond cavity 144 which emerges through thesecond arc portion 154 of the displayingface 142, afirst foot 167 linked to thefirst leg 165 at the opposite of thebase 171 and asecond foot 168 linked to thesecond leg 166 at the opposite of thebase 171. - The
body 140 further comprises twogrooves 162 provided in thefastening face 141. - The
lighting system 131 here comprises two LEDstrips 134, each comprising asocket 161 and being received in a respectivesecond cavity 144. - One of the two
LED strips 134 is thus located for emitting light in a first general direction of light emission directed from thefirst arc portion 153 of the displayingface 142, while the other of the twoLED strips 134 is located for emitting light in a second general direction of light emission directed from thesecond arc portion 154 of the displayingface 142. - The
lighting system 131 further comprises twocovers 137 which are configured to recover at least in part respectively thefirst arc portion 153 and thesecond arc portion 154 of the displayingface 142, eachcover 137 facing at least arespective LED strip 134. - The electrical connecting
member 135 is here received in themain opening 146 and is electrically connected to eachLED strip 134. EachLED strip 134 comprises acomplementary socket 164 configured for cooperating with arespective socket 161 of the electrical connectingmember 135. - The electrical connecting
member 135 comprises twosockets 161 located in twoauxiliary openings 147 arranged on either side of themain opening 146 and extending from the electrical connectingmember 135 to thecomplementary sockets 164. - The
lighting system 131 further comprises a label holder 136 (Figure 6 ) receiving a paper label (not represented) and mounted into thehousing 145 emerging through the thirdflat portion 155 of the displayingface 142. - The
label holder 136 comprises anarm 159 partially received in theindentation portion 151 of thishousing 145 and configured for clamping the paper label and ahead 158 which is introduced into thebottom portion 151 of thishousing 145. - The
label holder 136 is further clamped between the twotongues 163 and is therefore not articulated. - In this variant embodiment, the
lighting system 131 is in a third configuration in which the mountingelement 133 is glued on theupper face 120 of theshelf 105, the glue being received in thegrooves 162 of thebody 140. - In this third configuration, one of the LED strips 134 has its first general direction of light emission directed towards the shelving device, while the
other LED strip 134 has its second general direction of light emission directed away from the shelving device and therefore towards the neighboring environment. - In this third configuration, the paper label extends from the third
flat portion 155 of the displayingface 142 between the first and second general directions of light emission defined by the locating of the two LED strips 134. - We will now describe in detail in reference to
Figures 8 to 12 a second embodiment of the lighting system illustrated onFigures 1 to 3 . - In general, we have used the same reference numbers for similar parts, but increased by 200.
- In
Figures 8 and 9 is shown alighting system 231 which is mounted on the frontal face of theshelf 205 which is here metallic. Thisshelf 205 further comprises asupport 272 extending behind thelateral face 221. - The
lighting system 231 comprises afastening interface 273 made from a single metal sheet with theshelf 205. - The
fastening interface 273 comprises an upper foldedportion 274 protruding from the upper face of theshelf 205, a lower foldedportion 275 opposite from the upper foldedportion 274 and protruding from the lower face of theshelf 205 and awall 276 linked both to the upper and lower foldedportions wall 276 forms the frontal face of theshelf 205. - The
lighting system 231 comprises a mountingelement 233 formed by a single molded body 240 made of plastic material. - The body 240 has a
fastening face 241 and a displayingface 242 at the opposite of thefastening face 241. The displayingface 242 comprises afirst arc portion 253 and asecond arc portion 254. - The body 240 further comprises a
first cavity 243 which emerges from thefastening face 241. Thefirst cavity 243 comprises amain opening 246 provided in the body 240, and twosecond cavities 244 formed each for respectively emerging through thefastening face 241 and thefirst arc portion 253 of the displayingface 242. Eachsecond cavity 244 defines a space defined by two innerlateral walls 249 which are opposite and by aninner bottom wall 248. - The body 240 further comprises two third cavities here formed by
housings 245 which each emerges in thefastening face 241. Thehousings 245 are configured for receiving the upper andlower portions fastening interface 273. - The body 240 further comprises a pair of
notches 252 arranged on either side of thesecond cavity 244 which emerges on the displayingface 242. Eachnotch 252 defines a corner portion 260 (also named mounting tab) provided in the body 240. - The body 240 is configured so that it has a base 271 which is central, a
first leg 265 located between a firstinternal space 280 and thefirst cavity 243, asecond leg 266 located between a secondinternal space 279 and thefirst cavity 243, athird leg 269 located between the firstinternal space 280 and thesecond cavity 244 which emerges through thefastening face 241, afourth leg 270 located between the secondinternal space 279 and thesecond cavity 244 which emerges through the displayingface 242, afirst foot 267 linked to thefirst leg 265 at the opposite of thebase 271 and asecond foot 268 linked to thesecond leg 266 at the opposite of thebase 271. - In
Figures 8 and 9 , thelighting system 231 is in a configuration in which the mountingelement 233 is fixed on the shelf by the intermediary of thefastening interface 273 which cooperates with thehousings 245 formed on thefastening face 241 of the body 240. - The
lighting system 231 comprises two LEDstrips 234, each comprising asocket 261 and being received in a respectivesecond cavity 244; one of the LED strips 234 having its first general direction of light emission directed from thefastening face 241 and towards the shelving device, while theother LED strip 234 has its second general direction of light emission directed away from the shelving device and more precisely from the displayingface 242 and therefore towards the neighboring environment. - The
lighting system 231 further comprises acover 237 which faces theLED strip 234 having its second general direction of light emission directed from the displayingface 242 and towards the neighboring environment. - The
cover 237 is mounted on the displayingface 242 by introducing the two ends 239 of thecover 237 in the respective pair ofnotches 252. - The electrical connecting
member 235 is here received in themain opening 246 and is electrically connected to eachLED strip 234. EachLED strip 234 comprises acomplementary socket 264 configured for cooperating with arespective socket 261 of the electrical connectingmember 235. -
Figures 10 to 12 illustrate a variant embodiment of the lighting system ofFigures 8 and 9 . - In general, we have used the same reference numbers for similar parts, but increased by 100.
- In
Figure 10 , thelighting system 331 is mounted on thefrontal face 323 of theshelf 305. Thelighting system 331 comprises afastening interface 373 which is fixed onto thefrontal face 323 of theshelf 305. - The
fastening interface 373 comprises an upper foldedportion 374, a lower foldedportion 375 opposite from the upper foldedportion 374 and awall 376 linked both to the upper and lower foldedportions wall 376 faces thefrontal face 323 of theshelf 305. - The
lighting system 331 comprises a mountingelement 333 formed by a single molded body 340 made of plastic material. - The body 340 has a
fastening face 341 and a displayingface 342 at the opposite of thefastening face 341. The displayingface 342 comprises afirst arc portion 353, asecond arc portion 354 and a thirdflat portion 355 located between the first andsecond arc portions - The body 340 further comprises two
first cavities 343 and twosecond cavities 344 each formed for respectively emerging through thefastening face 341 and the displayingface 342. Eachsecond cavity 344 defines a space defined by two innerlateral walls 349 which are opposite and by aninner bottom wall 348. - The body 340 further comprises three third cavities here formed by
housings 345, two of which emerging in thefastening face 341 and configured for receiving the upper andlower portions fastening interface 373; and one of which emerging in thefirst arc portion 353 of the displayingface 342 and configured for receiving a label holder 336 (Figure 11 ). - The
housing 345 which emerges through the thirdflat portion 355 of the displayingface 342 comprises anindentation portion 350 and abottom portion 351 of general round-shape; and the body 340 further comprises twotongues 363 formed around theindentation portion 350 of thishousing 345. - The body 340 further comprises a pair of
notches 352 arranged on either side of thesecond cavity 344 which emerges on the displayingface 342. Eachnotch 352 defines a corner portion 360 (also named mounting tab) provided in the body 340. - The body 340 is configured so that it has a base 371 which is central, a
first leg 365 located between the twofirst cavities 343, asecond leg 366 located between a secondinternal space 379 and one of thefirst cavities 343, athird leg 369 located between one of thefirst cavities 343 and thesecond cavity 244 which emerges through thefastening face 341, afourth leg 370 located between one of thefirst cavities 343 and thesecond cavity 344 which emerges through the displayingface 342, afirst foot 367 linked to thefirst leg 365 at the opposite of thebase 371 and asecond foot 368 linked to thesecond leg 366 at the opposite of the base 371 (Figure 12 ). - In
Figure 10 , thelighting system 331 is in a configuration in which the mountingelement 333 is fixed on the shelf by the intermediary of thefastening interface 373 which cooperates with thehousings 345 formed on thefastening face 341 of the body 340. - In
Figure 10 , thelighting system 331 comprises two LEDstrips 334, each comprising asocket 361 and being received in a respectivesecond cavity 344; one of the LED strips 334 having its first general direction of light emission directed from thefastening face 341 and towards the shelving device, while theother LED strip 334 has its second general direction of light emission directed away from the shelving device and more precisely from the displayingface 342 and therefore towards the neighboring environment. - The
lighting system 331 further comprises acover 337 which faces theLED strip 334 having its second general direction of light emission directed from the displayingface 342 and towards the neighboring environment. - The
cover 337 is mounted on the displayingface 342 by introducing the two ends 339 of thecover 337 in the respective pair ofnotches 352. - The
lighting system 331 comprises two electrical connectingmembers 335 received in a respective main opening 346 of thefirst cavities 343 and electrically connected to arespective LED strip 334. EachLED strip 334 comprises a complementary socket configured for cooperating with arespective socket 361 of a respective electrical connectingmember 335. - In
Figure 11 , thelighting system 331 further comprises twolabel holders - The
label holder 336 is mounted into thehousing 345 emerging through the thirdflat portion 355 of the displayingface 342 and comprises anarm 359 partially received in theindentation portion 350 of thishousing 345 and configured for clamping the paper label and ahead 358 which is introduced into thebottom portion 351 of thishousing 345. Thelabel holder 336 is further clamped between the twotongues 363 and is therefore not articulated. - The
label holder 386 is mounted on the displayingface 342 and faces thesecond cavity 344 which emerges through the displaying 342. Thelabel holder 386 comprises abase 388, aclip member 387 which extends from thebase 388 and which is formed by a folded portion and afirst end 389 andsecond end 390, each extending from thebase 388 and opposite from theclip member 387. The first and second ends 389 and 390 of thelabel holder 386 are each introduced into anotch 352 formed in the body 340. - In variants that are not illustrated:
- the lighting system comprises a plurality of mounting elements mounted on the same shelf, for instance two or three, or the lighting system comprises two shelves configured to be mounted on two adjacent shelving devices and only one mounting element configured to be mounted on both shelves;
- any mounting element described above comprises one or a plurality of cavities for receiving the connecting member(s), and/or two or more, for instance three or four, cavities for receiving the lighting device(s), and/or one or a plurality of cavities for receiving the label holder(s);
- the shelf is not made of metal but rather from wood or glass;
- the mounting element is not glued or latched on a face of the shelf but it rather comprises at least one clip having a globally U-shape and configured for sandwiching the fastening face of the mounting element and the thickness of the shelf between the arms of the U;
- more generally, the mounting element is not glued or latched on a face of the shelf but rather clamped or screwed or scotched on a face of the shelf, depending of the type of the shelf;
- the mounting element described in reference to
Figures 8 to 12 can further comprise a slot provided in the second arc portion of the displaying face of the mounting element, which slot is configured for receiving a label holder formed by a paper or digital label holder or by shelf barker; - the bottom wall of the cavity for receiving the lighting device of any mounting element described above is longitudinally perforated or notched;
- any mounting element described above is fastened by the intermediary or not of the interface;
- any mounting element described above is fastened on the lower face of the shelf and the lighting device is configured to illuminate a label and/or a shelf arranged immediately under the shelf which bears the mounting element;
- any mounting element described above is transparent, translucent or opaque; and/or
- the lighting device is not a LED strip but rather another lighting device, for instance a neon strip.
- It should be noted more generally that the invention is not limited to the examples described and represented.
Claims (15)
- Lighting system for shelving device (1), comprising a support (5; 105; 205) for displaying articles, at least one lighting device (34; 134; 234), at least one electrical connecting member (35; 135; 235) which is configured to be electrically connected to said at least one lighting device (34; 134; 234) for electrically supplying the latter, and a mounting element (33; 133; 233) which is configured for bearing said at least one lighting device (34; 134; 234) and said at least one electrical connecting member (35; 135; 235) and to be mounted on said support (5; 105; 205), wherein said mounting element (33; 133; 233) is formed by a single molded body (40; 140; 240) made of plastic material, said body having a fastening face (41; 141; 241) and a displaying face (42; 142; 242) at the opposite from said fastening face and comprising at least one first cavity (43; 143; 243) which is configured for removably receiving said at least one electrical connecting member (35; 135; 235) and two second cavities (44; 144; 244) which are each configured for stationary receive said at least one lighting device (34; 134; 234), said mounting element (33; 133; 233) being configured so that said at least one lighting device (34; 134; 234) has a first general direction of light emission directed towards said support when said at least one lighting device is received into one of said two cavities, and said at least one lighting device (34; 134; 234) has a second general direction of light emission directed away from said support when said at least one lighting device is received into the other of said two cavities; and said mounting element is directly fixed on the support.
- System according to claim 1, wherein each of said two second cavities (44; 144; 244) emerges through said fastening face (241) or through said displaying face (42; 142; 242).
- System according to claim 2, wherein said body (40) comprises at least one mounting tab (60; 160; 260) provided in the periphery of at least one of said two second cavities (44) and said system (31) further comprises at least one cap member (37; 137; 237) configured to be mounted on said body (40) by the intermediary of said at least one mounting tab (60; 160; 260) for covering said second cavity (44).
- System according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein said at least one first cavity (43; 143; 243) is formed between said two second cavities (44; 144; 244) and in the vicinity of said fastening face (41; 141; 241).
- System according to claim 4, wherein said at least one first cavity (43; 143; 243) emerges through said fastening face (41; 141; 241).
- System according to any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein it further comprises a fastening interface (273) made from a single piece with said support (205) and said body (240) is configured to be mounted on said fastening interface (273) by its fastening face (241).
- System according to any one of claims 1 to 6, wherein said fastening face (141; 241) is provided with at least one groove (162; 245) configured to cooperate with a complementary fastening member.
- System according to any one of claims 1 to 7, wherein it further comprises at least one label holder (36; 136) and said body (40; 140) further comprises at least one housing (45; 145) provided on said fastening face (41; 141) or on said displaying face (42; 142) and configured for receiving at least partially said at least one label holder (36; 136).
- System according to claim 8, wherein said at least one housing is formed by at least two latching tabs (163) provided remote from each other and separated by one of said two second cavities (144), and said at least one label holder (136) comprises at least one end (158) configured to cooperate with said at least two latching tabs (163).
- System according to claims 8 or 9, wherein said at least one housing is formed by at least one third cavity (45; 145) which emerges through said fastening face (41; 141) or through said displaying face (42; 142), and said at least one label holder (36; 136) comprises at least one end (58; 158) configured to be rotatably introduced into said at least one third cavity (45; 145).
- System according to any one of claims 8 to 10, wherein said at least one label holder is formed by a paper label holder or by a digital label holder.
- Shelving device for displaying articles, comprising at least one lighting system (31; 131; 231) according to any one of claims 1 to 11.
- Shelving device according to claim 12, wherein it comprises a back panel structure (4) and at least one shelf (5; 105; 205) mounted on said back panel structure (4), said at least one shelf forming said at least one support.
- Shelving device according to claim 13, wherein said at least one shelf (5; 105) has an upper face (20; 120), a lower face (28; 128) at the opposite from said upper face and a front face (23; 123) which is linked to at least one of said upper and lower faces and said mounting element (33; 133) is at least partially fastened to said upper face (20; 120).
- Shelving device according to claim 13, wherein said at least one shelf (205) has an upper face (220), a lower face at the opposite from said upper face and a front face (223) which is linked to at least one of said upper and lower faces and said mounting element (233) is at least partially fastened to said front face (223).
