Claims (11)
- A web device (100) comprising a plurality of reinforcing yarns (110, 120) divided into at least two groups, a first group, identified as 0° reinforcing yarns (110), being oriented in a longitudinal direction, and a second group, identified as 90 ° reinforcing yarns (120), being oriented at right angles to said longitudinal direction of the first group (110), wherein both groups of reinforcing yarns (110, 120) are loosely held together by enveloping fibers loosely enveloping the reinforcing yarns (110, 120), at least in part, such that movability of any one of the reinforcing yarns (110, 120) relatively to an adjacent reinforcing yarn (110, 120) is guaranteed, resulting in draping of the web for the purpose of forming concave or convex structures is effected by drawing the reinforcing yarns (110, 120, 125) of all groups in from the peripheral region of the web (110), characterized in that local drapability is possible without stretching or creasing of adjacent reinforcing yarns taking place on forming concave or convex structures.
- A device as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that enveloping fibers are formed by crochet threads (140) forming loops (126) disposed parallel to and between the 0 ° reinforcing yarns (110) and enveloping each of the 90 ° reinforcing yarns (120) with a loop.
- A device as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2, characterized in that enveloping fibers are formed by traversing threads (150) extending between two adjacent crochet threads (140) and connected to the crochet threads (140) at respective points of contact (141).
- A device as claimed in claim 3, characterized in that a traversing thread (150) is disposed depending on the distance from the points of contact (141) at an angle of from ca. 80 ° to ca. 20 ° to the longitudinal axis of a 0 ° reinforcing yarn (110).
- A device as claimed in claim 3, characterized in that a traversing thread (150) is disposed at an angle of from 70 ° to 30 ° to the longitudinal axis of a 0 ° reinforcing yarn (110).
- A device as claimed in claim 3, characterized in that a traversing thread (150) is disposed at an angle of from 50 ° to 40 ° to the longitudinal axis of a 0 ° reinforcing yarn (110).
- A device as claimed in claim 3, characterized in that a traversing thread (150) is disposed at an angle of ca. 45 ° to the longitudinal axis of a 0 ° reinforcing yarn (110).
- A device as claimed in any one of claims 4 to 7, characterized in that the traversing threads (150) are alternately disposed at a positively directed angle of from 80 ° to 20 ° and a negatively directed angle of from 80 ° to -20 ° in the direction of the longitudinal axis of a 0 ° reinforcing yarn (110).
- A device as claimed in any one of the above claims, characterized in that a third group of reinforcing yarns (125) is provided at a diagonal angle to the longitudinal axis of the 0 ° reinforcing yarns (110) and held by loops (126), each enveloping a different 90 ° reinforcing yarns (120).
- A device as claimed in any one of the above claims, characterized in that a reinforcing yarn (110, 120, 125) is composed of a bundle of parallel filaments.
- A device as claimed in claim 10, characterized in that a filament is made of a synthetic fiber, a natural fiber, a glass fiber, a carbon fiber, or an aramid fiber.
