Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a fitting system for guiding a closure flap of a piece of furniture according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Corresponding fitting systems are well known and are usually arranged or fastened on inner sides of the piece of furniture.
  • the known fitting systems comprise a linkage construction, by means of which the closure flap is coupled to the piece of furniture.
  • the piece of furniture is usually a cabinet or a cabinet unit, such as a wall cabinet.
  • the cabinet may also be a part of a cabinet system with a plurality of cabinet modules having a plurality of openings, each of which is closable by means of corresponding flaps.
  • the piece of furniture may also be, for example, a wall unit of a desk below a desk top or a container.
  • a damping device may be provided by means of the end phase of the movement of the shutter is damped.
  • the DE 203 07 207 U1 discloses a hinged-sliding door fitting for flaps or doors of a cabinet cabinet.
  • the guide rail comprises a first guide groove and a second guide groove, wherein the guide groove is vertical and the guide groove are aligned horizontally.
  • damping means are arranged in the form of damping and / or braking cam.
  • the damping cams cause a damping of the movement sequence when turning a flap in the closed position.
  • the lower of the two guide pins of the flap can be brought into contact with the damping cams.
  • the damping cams thereby exert on the guide pin one of the weight of the flap counteracting braking force, the smaller as the weight force exerted by the guide pins on the damping means.
  • the US 2004/0174101 A1 discloses a striker comprising a cylinder, a piston rod engageable in and out of the cylinder, and a piston.
  • the buffer mechanism is attached to a telescopic rail for a drawer, so that when closing the drawer, a stop of the telescopic rail with the piston of the locking mechanism is brought into contact, so that a closing movement of the drawer is damped by the buffer mechanism.
  • the damping device comprises a helical spring there, which can be compressed by the force of gravity when the closure flap is closed.
  • the coil spring is supported at its lower end on a fixed base.
  • the object of the present invention is therefore to provide an improved, but simple fitting system, which leads to little or no loss of storage space within the piece of furniture or cabinet, is inexpensive to manufacture, requires only a low installation effort and easy to different flap geometries and flap weights is customizable.
  • a damping device is embedded in the fitting body in an end region of a fitting body which is part of the fitting system.
  • a guide pin which is provided in a side region of the closure flap, can be brought into contact with the damping device, and the damping device can be acted upon by a force exerted via the guide pin weight of the closure flap during transfer of the closure flap in an end position via a damping section.
  • the damping device exerts on the guide pin a counterforce which is smaller than the force exerted by the guide pin on the damping device weight.
  • the fitting system according to the invention is characterized in that the fitting body in the end region has an undercut in cross-section and is designed to be elastic in the region of the undercut, so that the damping device is detachably connected to the fitting body by means of the undercut.
  • "Undercut" means that the side walls, which limit the receiving space for the damping device, engage behind the damping device and thereby fix it in the receiving space.
  • a position adjustment device for the damping device is embedded in the fitting body and designed to adjust the position of the damping device relative to the fitting body, wherein the damping device abuts the position adjusting device.
  • the fitting system Due to this design of the fitting system a simple replacement of the damping device is possible. Furthermore, no additional holding device for the damping device in the fitting body is necessary, so that the fitting body can be produced inexpensively. Furthermore, different damping devices with different degrees of hardness or with different damping forces can be used.
  • the fitting system according to the invention can thus be used for different closure flap geometries and closure flap weights, since only the damping device has to be replaced and adapted to the corresponding closure flap.
  • the fitting system according to the invention which can be completely or at least predominantly embedded in the wall, in particular side wall of the piece of furniture, the storage space of the piece of furniture is reduced only to a small extent or not at all.
  • the closure flap can move in a damped, ie braked way, in particular by its weight alone, in its end position. This allows a very smooth movement completion and an almost noiseless transfer of the flap in its final position.
  • This end position is preferably the closure position, but may also be the open position.
  • the cost of the hardware system can be kept low. Due to the guidance of arranged in the side regions of the flap guide pins in the angled or curved guide slot no complicated linkage between the flap and the fitting systems is necessary.
  • the fitting system thus has only a small depth and can be embedded in the walls, in particular side walls, of the piece of furniture without undesirably weakening or breaking the walls.
  • the position of the closure flap can be adjusted in its end position, so that, for example, in the end position the closure flap is arranged over its entire circumference at a uniform distance from the body of the piece of furniture.
  • the position adjustment device can be realized for example by an eccentric, which is integrated below the damping device in the fitting body or inserted into a recess in the wall of the piece of furniture.
  • the eccentric in this case has an axis about which the eccentric is rotatably mounted.
  • the damping device comprises a damping cylinder with an extendable piston rod, and the damping device is actuated by the piston rod is inserted by means of the guide pin of the closure flap in the damping cylinder or pulled out of this.
  • Such a damping device provides a defined damping distance and a defined counterforce or damping force.
  • the damping is usually carried out in that when moving the piston rod, a fluid is displaced within the damping cylinder and / or a spring arranged within the damping cylinder is deformed.
  • the piston rod is biased so that when the guide pin of the flap is removed, it is pushed back into its original position.
  • the end position of the damping device also determines the end position of the closure flap.
  • the closure flap is decoupled shortly before reaching its end position of the damping device and is thus moved with increased closing force against an end stop.
  • the fitting body has a substantially U-shaped cross section with two side walls, a rear wall and an open side oriented towards the front of the fitting body.
  • the guide slot is formed by two opposing inner surfaces of the side walls.
  • the cross section of the fitting body in the region in which the damping device is provided substantially equal to the cross section of the fitting body in which the guide slot is provided.
  • the fitting body can be designed in a particularly simple manner and therefore produced in a particularly cost-effective manner.
  • the transverse extent of the cross-section of the fitting body in the region in which the damping device is provided can either be greater or smaller than the transverse extent of the cross-section of the fitting body in the region in which the guide slot is provided, so that existing damping devices can be used ,
  • an unillustrated piece of furniture in particular a cabinet or container, comprises two vertically oriented side walls, a horizontally oriented base plate and a horizontally oriented ceiling plate.
  • the side walls, the bottom plate and the ceiling plate enclose a storage space which can be closed by means of a closure flap 200.
