The present invention relates to a mounting device for fastening a sanitary article, in particular a toilet bowl, according to the preamble of claim 1.

STATE OF THE ART

From the prior art, a mounting device of this kind by the EP 1 936 052 known. This mounting device comprises a mounted on a building wall mounting frame and has only a single footrest with which the mounting device stands up on the floor. The mounting frame is connected at the top of wall anchor with the building wall, while in the lower area also still a mounting plate is provided.

The mounting device after EP 1 936 052 is commonly used for wall-hung sanitary articles. Consequently, the components of the mounting device must be dimensioned accordingly. Due to dimensioning of the mounting device, the same can not be used for the installation of floor-standing sanitary items.

PRESENTATION OF THE INVENTION

Based on this prior art, the invention has for its object to provide a mounting device, which are equally well used for both floor-standing and wall-mounted sanitary items.

Such a problem is solved by the mounting device according to claim 1.

The support member has at least one fixed to the support member fastener for fixing the sanitary article. The at least one fastening part is preferably in contact with a threaded rod, which protrudes substantially perpendicular to the positioning frame and the support element and can be brought into contact with the sanitary article. The sanitary article is connected via this threaded rod with the mounting device.

DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

On the mounting device 1, a sanitary article 14 is fastened, which in the Figures 1 and 2 is merely indicated. The sanitary article 14 is in particular a toilet bowl made of ceramic, but can also be, for example, a urinal bowl or a bidet bowl. The flushing of the sanitary article 14 is carried out with a cistern 11, which is preferably a concealed cistern. This is connected via a flushing pipe 13 with the sanitary article 14 in a conventional manner. The disposal of the contents of the sanitary article 14 via a drain pipe 23 having an inlet opening 24 at an upper end and an outlet opening 26 at a lower end. The positioning frame 2 essentially comprises at least two vertical struts 3, a crossbeam 6 which connects these two vertical struts 3 with one another, and a footrest 28 designed to be movable and lockable to the corresponding vertical strut 3. The design of the positioning frame 2 as a non-load-bearing positioning frame has the advantage that it can be used flexibly. Preferably, the drain pipe 23 communicates with the sanitary article 14 and the positioning frame 2 or with the support member 35 in connection. In the FIG. 5 the variant with the floor-standing sanitary article 14 is shown in more detail. The sanitary article 14 is shown here for clarity at a distance from the positioning frame 2. The sanitary article 14 is connected via fastening openings 44 with the lower cross member 6, so that the sanitary article 14 can be positioned relative to the positioning frame 2. For this purpose, for example, a fastening element which connects the sanitary article 14 with the cross member 6 may be provided. The fastener may be, for example, a screw with a nut or a threaded rod. The fastener essentially serves to position the sanitary article 14 in space and, because the sanitary article 14 rests on the floor, does not need to be sized to support the sanitary article 14.

In the embodiment of the FIG. 5 is the positioning frame 2 with two footrests 28 on the building floor. Both footrests 28 are movable and lockable in and to the respective vertical strut 3. With reference to the FIGS. 6 and 10 now the support member 35 is explained in more detail. The support member 35, in particular the upper part 36, here comprises a cross member 38. The cross member 38 is followed here by a tube 45 with a quadrangular cross section, which serves to receive the foot part 37. The tube 45 is preferably welded to the upper part 36. The fastening parts 39 protrude through openings arranged in the positioning frame 2 40. Claims (12)

1. A mounting device (1) for positioning or mounting a sanitary article (14), in particular a toilet bowl,

   with a positioning frame (2), which is not bearing the sanitary article (14) and which is positioning the sanitary article (14), with at least two vertical struts (3) and one lower traverse (6), which connects the at least two vertical struts (3) with each other,

   wherein the positioning frame (2) further comprises at least one foot support (28), which is in movable connection with one of the vertical struts (3) and which is designed in an arrestable manner with respect to said vertical strut (3), wherein the positioning frame (2) is supportable on a building floor (18), and

   with a supporting element (35), which can be brought into connection with the positioning frame (2) and which bears the sanitary article, which comprises a foot part (37), which is designed in a movable manner with respect to the positioning frame (2) and which is designed in an arrestable manner with respect to the supporting element (35), wherein the supporting element (35) by means of the foot part (37) is supportable on the building floor (18),

   wherein the at least one foot support (28) and the foot part (37) are extendable to the same level with respect to the positioning frame (2) standing in the vertical,

   wherein the supporting element (35) comprises at least one mounting part (39) which is securely mounted on the supporting element (35) for mounting the sanitary article (14) and wherein the at least one mounting part (39) is in contact with a threaded rod (41), which projects essentially perpendicular from the positioning frame (2) and from the supporting element (35) and which can be brought into contact with the sanitary article (14),

   wherein a bearing element (42) is provided per threaded rod (41), wherein the bearing element (42) comprises an opening (49), through which the threaded rod (41) can be passed through the bearing element (42), and

   wherein the bearing element (42) extends from the mounting part (39) to a vertical web portion (43) of the traverse (6), such that a bending moment acting on the threaded rod (41) is transmittable to the traverse (6) and to the supporting element (35) being in connection with the traverse (6).

The mounting device as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the supporting element (35) in addition to the foot part (37) comprises an upper part (36), wherein the upper part (36) is connectable to the positioning frame (2) and wherein the foot part (37) is movable and arrestable with respect to the upper part (36), such that the foot part (37) is movable against the building floor with respect to the positioning frame (2).

The mounting device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the device further comprises a drain pipe (23), which comprises an inlet opening (24) on an upper end and an outlet opening (26) that is connectable to a disposal pipe on a lower end of a region projecting downwardly (25), wherein the region projecting downwardly (25) is essentially flush with the front side (15) of the supporting frame (2), wherein the drain pipe (23) is preferably arranged below the aforementioned lower traverse (6).

The mounting device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the at least one foot support (28) is arranged at a distance from one vertical strut (3); and/or that the at least one foot support (28) when viewed from the front side (15) of the supporting frame (2) is mountable to the left hand side or the right hand side of the drain pipe (23).
11. The mounting device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a mounting element (9) is arranged on the aforementioned lower traverse (6) and/or on the positioning frame (2) and/or on the at least one foot support (28), which supports the supporting frame (2) on the building wall (17).
12. The mounting device according to any one of claims 9 to 10, characterized in that the drain pipe (23) is mounted adjustable in depth to the lower traverse (6, 8).
