Abstract
Description
Behältnis für Flüssigkeiten Container for liquids
The invention relates to a container for liquids according to the preamble of claim 1.
Containers for liquids are known in the most diverse embodiments. For example, it is known to store liquids in bottles. Oil, on the other hand, can be stored in large oil barrels. The present invention relates to containers in the most general sense as regards the type of liquids and the amount of liquid.
A known, special form of containers for liquids provides that they have a triangular cross-section. These triangular cross sections are always isosceles triangles, d. H. the sides of the triangle are the same length. This means that the sides of the triangle enclose an angle of 60 ° between them.
The problem with these equilateral triangles is that although they can be stored relatively compact, especially in their upright position, but always in the edge region an uneven, d. H. zigzag circumferential contour exists. This is not optimal for storing these triangular containers.
On this basis, the invention is based on the invention to provide a container for liquids of the type specified, which can be put together even more compact.
The technical solution is characterized by the features in the characterizing part of claim 1.
The basic idea of the triangular container according to the invention for liquids is that the cross-section is an isosceles triangle, with the two equal-length legs of this triangle in particular forming a right angle. This has the very great advantage that a plurality of containers can be made very compact, since the peripheral contour of the package of containers gives a square or a rectangle. As a result, absolutely no space is lost through air gaps. In the event that the containers are stacked lying, equally result in very clear and compact structures that are very stable in itself, so that the reason can be reached arbitrarily high stack heights. The containers may have one or two openings. Larger containers in particular also have two openings. Usually, a large opening for emptying and a smaller opening for ventilation, as is usual with barrels.
A preferred embodiment according to claim 2 proposes that the cross section over the entire height of the hollow body is the same.
The development according to claim 3 proposes that the closure can be plugged or screwed onto the opening. Basically, conventional closures can be used, especially screw caps. Equally, however, it is also possible to use closures which are attached, in particular also clipped on.
The development according to claim 4 proposes that the closures are round or - according to the shape of the container - are also triangular. Likewise, any other type and form of closure may be used. In particular, these closures are designed so that they do not protrude beyond the peripheral contour of the hollow body.
Furthermore, the development proposes according to claim 5, that the hollow body made of glass, sheet metal, steel or plastic. This means that the container according to the invention of any standard Materia! can be made.
Finally, claims 6 and 7 suggest ways to assemble several of these containers into larger units. Claim 6 relates to the horizontal variant and claim 7, the standing variant.
In diesen zeigt: Two embodiments of a container according to the invention for liquids are described below with reference to the drawing. In these shows:

Fig. 4b, the containers of Fig. 3a and 3b in the upright assembled state.
Fig. 1 a and 1b shows a first embodiment of a container for liquids. The container has a hollow body 1 with a top opening 2. This opening 2 can be closed by a round closure 3 in the form of a screw cap.
The peculiarity of this container is the cross-sectional shape of the hollow body 1. The cross-sectional shape is triangular. Specifically, the shape is an isosceles triangle whose two equal legs enclose an angle of 90 °.
The peculiarity of this container with the particular cross-sectional shape shows up when several such containers are put together.
Thus, Fig. 2a shows a total of four such containers, as they are stacked in a lying form. The basic principle is that initially two containers are placed with their long legs on the ground. In the V-shaped area between a third container is then inserted, with the 90 ° angle down. On this third container can then be placed a fourth container, here with the 90 ° angle upwards. This system can be continued endlessly by laterally inserted more containers on the bottom containers and stacked on it more containers.
The illustration in Fig. 2b shows the containers when they are erected in an upright position. The basic idea here is that always two containers are placed in pairs, the triangles are with the long sides together. This means that this container pair defines a square in cross-section. Such container pairs can then be joined together to form larger units, as can be seen in FIG. 2b. The embodiment in Fig. 3a and 3b differs from the first embodiment only in that here the closure 3 is not round, but has a triangular shape. The cross-sectional contour of this triangular closure 3 is equally formed as an isosceles triangle.
Fig. 4a and 4b then shows the situation corresponding to that in Fig. 2a and 2b, when the containers are stacked or - assembled in the upright position - standing.
