Abstract

The footwear has a foot maintaining system including a structural insert (4) with a base plate extending continuously between an intermediate sole (3) and an upper (1). The base plate is surrounded on both sides by flanks (7) placed opposite to a side of the upper. The plate is reversibly deformable by a support to set the insert in a stressed state in which the flank exerts clasping effort on the sides of the upper. Each of the flanks has rear and front flaps (7a, 7b) extended opposite to rear and mid foot parts to allow the flanks to exert joint clasping effort of each of the parts.
