Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Übertragen von Statusmitteilungen und/oder Steuerfunktionen zwischen einem Rettungswegterminal und einem Zutrittskontrollsystem. Zwischen dem Rettungswegterminal und dem Zutrittskontrollsystem erfolgt ein Datenaustausch über einen Bus. Zu diesem Zweck ist eine Schnittstelle im Rettungswegterminal angeordnet, die einer Schnittstelle im Zutrittskontrollsystem entspricht, wie sie zur Kommunikation zwischen dem Zutrittskontrollsystem und einem definierten Busteilnehmer des Zutrittkontrollsystems bereits vorliegt, insbesondere einer Schnittstelle zu einem Identifikationsleser. Auf diese Weise kann das Rettungswegterminal auf einfache Weise mit dem Zutrittskontrollsystem vernetzt werden.
