Machine de tri postal avec un dispositif de recirculation d'articles
comprenant une bande à tasseaux
L'invention concerne le domaine du tri postal et en particulier une machine de tri postal comprenant des sorties de tri dans lesquelles des articles postaux sont accumulés, lesdites sorties de tri étant disposées en alignement suivant une certaine direction longitudinale.
En exploitation, les sorties de tri sont habituellement vidées dans des bacs amovibles placés en dessous ou face aux sorties de tri. Les bacs peuvent ensuite être transportés à l'entrée de la machine pour une nouvelle passe de tri des articles ou être acheminés vers un système de conditionnement en aval du processus de tri. Ces opérations requièrent beaucoup de manipulations qui peuvent être une cause d'un désordre dans la séquence des articles de courrier. Ces opérations font partie de ce qui appelé communément le processus de recirculation des articles de courrier depuis les sorties de tri.
Le but de l'invention est de proposer un agencement de machine de tri dans lequel le processus de recirculation des articles de courrier est amélioré.
A cet effet, l'invention a pour objet une machine de tri postal comprenant des sorties de tri dans lesquelles des articles postaux sont accumulés, lesdites sorties de tri étant disposées en alignement suivant une certaine direction longitudinale, caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend en outre un dispositif de recirculation des articles postaux stockés dans les sorties de tri, ce dispositif comprenant une bande mobile le long des sorties de tri et sur laquelle sont fixés des tasseaux pour définir une succession de casiers qui font face respectivement aux sorties de tri, chaque casier étant agencé pour le stockage d'articles postaux sur chant prélevés dans une sortie de tri correspondante.
Avec cet agencement, l'opérateur de la machine peut transférer le contenu de chaque sortie de tri dans un casier correspondant de la bande à tasseaux en les rangeant sur chant dans ce casier. Ces tasseaux peuvent être fixés à la bande à l'aide de vis par exemple de façon à pouvoir être démontés et remplacés facilement. Les casiers remplis d'articles de courrier sont amenés automatiquement soit vers l'entrée de la machine, soit par exemple vers un système de conditionnement en aval du processus de tri, par une commande du déplacement de la bande à tasseaux.
Pour tenir sur chant une pile d'articles dans un casier, on peut avantageusement munir le casier d'une palette à position réglable. Cette palette peut par exemple être une plaque amovible maintenue entre deux tasseaux formant les deux bords latéraux du casier, la distance entre la palette et le fond du casier étant ajustée à la dimension de la pile d'articles de courrier. Le mode de fixation de la palette entre les deux tasseaux latéraux peut être du type pions/trous ou encore languettes/rainures. On comprendra que chaque tasseau comportera une succession de moyens de fixation de la palette répartis sur la profondeur du casier pour permettre un réglage de la position de la palette en fonction de la taille de la pile d'articles de courrier à stocker sur chant dans le casier. Pour transférer des articles de courrier sur chant d'une sortie de tri vers un casier, l'opérateur peut commencer par positionner la palette du casier dans une configuration correspondant à un volume de stockage maximum. Puis l'opérateur place les articles de courrier sur chant dans le fond du casier et vient ensuite régler la position de la palette de telle sorte qu'elle serre ces articles contre le fond du casier. Si ce processus de transfert d'articles de courrier et de réglage de la position de la palette est effectué de façon automatique par un appareil comme un bras robotisé, on pourra prévoir des capteurs de pression par exemple sur la paroi de fond du casier ou sur la palette pour asservir le réglage du positionnement de la palette dans le casier.
La machine selon l'invention sera décrite ci-après plus en détail.
La figure 1 illustre de façon schématique une machine de tri postal avec un dispositif de recirculation d'articles de courrier plats sous la forme d'une bande à tasseaux.
La figure 2 illustre de façon schématique une vue en perspective d'une partie de la bande à tasseaux.
Sur la figure 1 , on a représenté de façon très schématique une machine de tri postal 1 pour trier des articles de courrier plats qui comprend une entrée de dépilage 2 et des sorties de tri dans chacune desquelles des articles triés sont accumulés et stockés en pile sur chant.
Sur la figure 1 , on n'a référencé que trois sorties de tri telles que 3a, 3b, 3c mais il est entendu qu'une machine de tri postal peut comporter plusieurs dizaines de telles sorties de tri du type à tasseur par exemple alignées sur une ou plusieurs rangées (superposées ou juxtaposées en hauteur) selon une certaine direction longitudinale D.
Sur la figure 1 , on a également illustré un dispositif de recirculation des articles de courrier depuis les sorties de tri vers l'entrée 2 de la machine ou vers un système de conditionnement 5 des articles de courrier. Ce dispositif comprend une bande 4 motorisée munie de tasseaux formant des casiers tels que 4a, 4b, 4c. La bande à tasseaux est apte à se déplacer selon la direction D le long des sorties de tri, dans un sens et/ou dans l'autre. La figure 2 montre plus en détail cette bande à tasseaux qui comprend donc une bande ou courroie plate 40 sur laquelle sont disposés des tasseaux 41 définissant les casiers tels que 4a, 4b, ou 4c. Chaque casier comporte donc deux flancs latéraux formés chacun par un tasseau 41 disposé perpendiculaire à la bande 40 et fixé par exemple de façon amovible à celle-ci par des vis ou analogue. Le fond du casier est également formé de tasseaux verticaux amovibles 42 qui définissent une sorte de rive sur un côté longitudinal de la bande 30. On voit sur la figure 2 que ces tasseaux 42 se présentent comme des lames disjointes disposées de façon adjacente pour permettre à la bande de suivre un chemin en boucle fermée. Sur la figure 2, on a également représenté une palette 43 amovible sous la forme d'une plaque disposée entre deux tasseaux latéraux 41 d'un casier. On a illustré également sur les tasseaux 41 , un système de fixation 44 de la palette du type pion/trou (voir les deux alignements de trous visibles sur la face droite des tasseaux). Avec ce système de fixation, on peut régler la profondeur de stockage des articles de courrier dans un casier pour maintenir correctement ces articles en pile sur chant pendant le déplacement de la bande à tasseaux selon la direction D. Il faut comprendre que la position des palettes 43 des casiers peut être réglée différemment selon les casiers pour tenir compte des différents volumes d'articles stockés dans les sorties de tri au moment du transfert des articles des sorties vers les casiers. Les tasseaux 41 et 42 peuvent être réalisés par exemple en une matière plastique assez rigide tandis que la bande peut être réalisée en caoutchouc ou en matière plastique.
Comme indiqué plus haut, ce transfert peut se faire de façon automatique par exemple à l'aide d'un bras robotisé apte à positionner correctement la palette de chaque casier en fonction du volume d'articles à stocker. De façon générale, la bande à tasseaux définit au moins autant de tasseaux qu'il y a de sorties de tri à servir dans la machine. Par ailleurs, les casiers ont de préférence chacun une largeur L1 selon la direction D d'environ 350 mm qui est équivalente à la largeur L2 des sorties de tri de façon à avoir un alignement relatif entre les sorties et les casiers comme illustré sur la figure 1 . La largeur de la bande 40 peut être d'environ 400 mm (mesurée perpendiculairement à la direction D).
On peut également prévoir d'utiliser les palettes 43 comme intercalaires de séparation de plis en les faisant circuler dans la machine de tri entre l'entrée de dépilage et les sorties de tri. Plus particulièrement, une palette 43 est une plaque (pas trop rigide) pouvant recevoir un marquage indicatif d'une sortie de tri qui est lisible par machine, par exemple un code-barres, analogue à celui qui est apposé sur un intercalaire. Selon l'invention, à la fin d'un processus de tri précédant un transfert du courrier des sorties de tri vers les casiers, on peut prévoir d'envoyer en entrée de dépilage de la machine de tri un jeu de telles palettes 43 (en nombre suffisant pour qu'elles soient réparties sur toutes les sorties de tri de la machine). Chaque palette 43 est donc déplacée comme un intercalaire (ou séparateur) de l'entrée de dépilage de la machine de tri jusqu'à une sortie de tri dans laquelle sont accumulés en pile des articles postaux. L'opérateur ou un bras articulé de robot n'aura alors plus qu'à saisir cette pile d'articles postaux avec la palette 43 et de placer l'ensemble dans le fond d'un casier de la bande à tasseau (qui correspond à cette sortie) tout en fixant la palette entre les deux bords latéraux du casier. On comprend que cet agencement peut simplifier les manipulations des articles de courrier pour le transfert vers les casiers.
Ce système de recirculation d'articles postaux selon l'invention permet donc d'éviter l'usage de bacs de stockage amovibles. Il est particulièrement bien adapté pour des machines de tri postales exploitées pour le tri du petit courrier au format C5 ou C4 par exemple.

REVENDICATIONS
1 ) Machine de tri postal comprenant des sorties de tri (3a, 3b, 3c) dans lesquelles des articles postaux sont accumulés, lesdites sorties de tri étant disposées en alignement suivant une certaine direction longitudinale (D), caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend en outre un dispositif de recirculation 4 des articles postaux stockés dans les sorties de tri, ce dispositif comprenant une bande (40) mobile le long des sorties de tri et sur laquelle sont fixés des tasseaux (41 ,42) pour définir une succession de casiers (4a,4b,4c) qui font face respectivement aux sorties de tri, chaque casier étant agencé pour le stockage d'articles postaux sur chant prélevés dans une sortie de tri correspondante.
2) La machine selon la revendication 1 , dans laquelle chaque casier est muni d'une palette (43) à position réglable pour tenir en position sur chant une pile d'articles stockés dans le casier.
3) La machine selon la revendication 2, dans laquelle la palette (43) est une plaque amovible maintenue entre deux tasseaux formant les deux bords latéraux du casier.
4) La machine selon la revendication 3, dans laquelle les tasseaux sont vissés sur la bande.
5) La machine selon la revendication 3, dans laquelle des palettes (43) de casier sont agencés en outre pour être passées dans la machine de tri comme des intercalaires.
