- Plug part for an electric plug connector, which is configured for receiving a cable (8) and for connecting with a further plug part of the plug connector, and which comprises a housing (2), into which the cable (8) extends with its front end, wherein the cable (8) is retained in the housing part (2) by a holding device, wherein the holding device comprises a locking ring (13) for axial position locking of components (8, 10, 11, 12) arranged in the housing part (2), and the locking ring (13) in the assembled final state of the plug part (1) on an inner surface (23) of the housing part (2) is supported in such a way that an axial retaining force is applied for position securing of the components (10, 11, 12),
characterized in that
the locking ring (13) surrounds the cable (8) on the circumferential side and comprises a multitude of locking teeth (20, 21), which are arranged to protrude outwardly from a basic ring (19) and in the assembled state of the plug part (1) are supported by the inner surface (23), and a support ring (12) is formed, which is contacted by the locking ring (13), in particular is inserted therein, and the support ring (12) comprises a circumferentially extending bar (16) having interruptions (17, 18), through which the locking teeth (20, 21) in the inserted state of the locking ring (13) radially extend outward. - Plug part according to claim 1,

at least some, in particular all, of the locking teeth (20, 21) in the uninstalled state of the locking ring (13) extend in the plane (29) of the basic ring (19). - Plug part according to any one of claims 1 to 4,

the locking teeth (20, 21) or the outer bar in the installed final state of the locking ring (13) in the housing part (2) are or is arranged to be inclined at an angle larger than 2° and smaller than 25°, in particular between 3° and 15°, relative to the plane (29) of the basic ring (19). - Plug part according to any one of claims 1 to 5,

a locking ring (13) of a holding device surrounding the cable (8), which is arranged for axial position securing of components (8, 10, 11, 12) arranged in the housing part (2), is slid onto the cable (8) and upon insertion of the front end of the cable (8) into the housing part (2) the locking ring (13) is slid into the housing part (2) and comes to contact an inner surface (23) of the housing part (2) and by the further insertion of the locking ring (13) into the plug part (2) in the assembled final state of the plug part (1) the locking ring (13) is supported by an inner surface (23) of the housing part (2) in such a way that an axial retaining force for axial position securing of the components (10, 11, 12) is generated,
characterized in that
the locking ring (13) surrounds the cable (8) on the circumferential side and comprises a multitude of locking teeth (20, 21), which are arranged to protrude outwardly from a basic ring (19) and in the assembled state of the plug part (1) are supported by the inner surface (23), and a support ring (12) is configured, which is contacted by the locking ring (13), in particular is inserted therein, and the support ring (12) comprises a circumferentially extending bar (16) with interruptions (17, 18), through which the locking teeth (20, 21) in the inserted state of the locking ring (13) in the support ring (12) are radially extended outward.
