- The container (1) as claimed in claim 7 or 8, characterized in that the support (8) is configured as a surface element (24) which, in the upright position of the sidewall (4, 6), adjoins a corresponding surface element (25) of the base (2), the surface elements (24, 25) being protected, in an upright position of the sidewall (4, 6), against mutual displacement in the normal direction of the surface elements (4, 6), and the two surface elements (24, 25) preferably extending in the direction of extension of the upright sidewall (4, 6).
