Hierbei kann in einfacher Weise der als Schnur ausgebildete Dichtwerkstoff aus seiner Halterung an dem Profilstreifen heraus gezogen werden, wobei der neue, unverschlissene Dichtwerkstoff einfach wieder eingedrückt werden kann. Dies kann beispielsweise auch erfolgen, ohne dass die Trommel ausgebaut werden muss, wenn die den Dichtwerkstoff bildende Schnur in den Ringspalt gedrückt werden kann. Die Aufnahme für die Schnur weist Hinterschnitte auf, so dass die als Dichtschnur ausgebildete Dichtung selbsthaltend in der Aufnahme gehalten wird. Der Profilstreifen weist im oberen Bereich eine Aufnahme auf, in die ein Dichtwerkstoff lösbar eingesetzt ist. Der Dichtwerkstoff besteht hierbei in vorteilhafter Weise aus einer ablängbaren Dichtschnur, die in die als Tasche ausgebildete Aufnahme einklipsbar ist. Es versteht sich nun von selbst, dass, wenn beispielsweise der Dichtwerkstoff verschlissen ist, dieser dann infolge seiner schnurartigen Ausbildung einerseits leicht aus dem Ringspalt zwischen dem Strömungskanal und der Trommel herausgezogen werden kann, wobei dann entsprechend andererseits eine neue Dichtschnur eingefädelt und eingedrückt werden kann, so dass, ohne den gesamten Dichtungsbereich auszuwechseln, der Dichtwerkstoff hier leicht und einfach ersetzt werden kann.According to the invention, the carrier material consists of a shaped profile strip, which has a spring effect due to its shape.
