Definitions
- the invention relates to a street inlet (drain) with an upper inlet chamber and a lower outlet chamber separated therefrom via an inlet chamber floor, wherein the outlet opening of the inlet chamber is substantially above the inlet chamber floor by a pipe or a siphon, and an outlet conduit closable with a floating body in the outlet chamber, according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a road inlet, in which the flow is so far calmed in the region of the settling sludge that this is not unintentionally flushed out.
- the object of the invention is to permanently and safely remove the sludge.
- the outlet chamber is divided into a plurality of vertically divided sub-chambers, and in at least one of the sub-chambers, a bottom-placed grid or honeycomb structure is introduced such that the interior of the structure forms a plurality of open top mud collecting pockets. This causes that to become regardless of the amount of waste water and the associated flow application still reliably remains there at the bottom settling and not entrained or swirled. It comes in this area so a total flow calming.
- the grid or honeycomb structure is designed as a removable component. This allows the settled sludge easily removed or vacuumed from time to time.
- the grid or honeycomb structure may be integrally formed on the bottom of the discharge chamber. This fulfills the same function with regard to the flow calming in the bottom settling area. The removal of the deposited there sludge can then also from time to time from the top by a suction and flushing done.
- the outlet chamber is divided into a plurality of sub-chambers such that the inlet flows from the dirty water from the upper inlet chamber via a bent pipe from the vertical first in a first sub-chamber without grid or honeycomb structure, which is called “calming chamber "and that this first sub-chamber is separated from the next sub-chamber by a partial height provided with openings or slots baffle.
- calming chamber a bent pipe from the vertical first in a first sub-chamber without grid or honeycomb structure
- a baffle plate is arranged at the end of the bent pipe from the vertical. Even the continued drainage of the dirty water through a pipe bending down from the vertical leads to a flow calming. In addition, before that to provide a baffle plate at a distance in front of the outlet opening of the pipe, leading to a further calming the dirty water flow. This, in turn, soothes the flow in the lower chamber areas to allow effective separation of the particles in the mud trap pockets.
- said next sub-chamber contains the bottom-side grid or honeycomb structure formed.
- the fluidically following sub-chamber is separated from the previous sub-chamber by a partition wall which contains slots or openings from below to a partial height. This in turn leads to further reassurance in conjunction with a coarse filter effect.
- the subsequent sub-chamber is the valve chamber in which the closable with a float outlet pipe is arranged.
- a fine filter In the inlet to the valve chamber is a fine filter, preferably with a mesh size of 0.5 to 1.0 millimeters.
- valve chamber of the previous lower chamber fluidic a vertical partition is separated, in which from a partial height, a large-area passage opening is arranged.
- a large-area passage opening is arranged.
- the outlet conduit is designed as a siphon whose outlet height is above the center of gravity of the float. This ensures that water can pass into the final outlet line while retaining light liquids.
- the Wegkürper is designed as a flap with float bodies.
- the float of the flap or designed as a ball float has a density which is between 1 and 0.7, such that the respective float buoys in a water environment and sinks in light liquid environment and closes the valve seat.
- the separated sludge retained on the bottom side in the discharge chamber or the lower chamber serving as a settling chamber can be removed after opening the separating tray and lifting the grid or honeycomb structure through an introduced suction device.
- FIG. 1 shows in the upper part of a side sectional view through the bottom inlet, in which the same is known to be covered at the top with a cover grille 2.
- the road inlet consists of a barrel-shaped housing 4, in which all the necessary technical details are arranged.
- a removable basket-shaped Laubfangsieb 3 is arranged under the cover grille 2 .
- Including the container of the street inlet 1 is divided into several chambers. In essence, an upper chamber is arranged as an inlet chamber 5 directly under the leaf trap screen 3. The inlet chamber 5 is separated via a separating tray 9 from the lower chamber.
- the lower chamber is again subdivided into 4 partial chambers, which are provided with partitions with through holes, sieves and passage slots. If you take the lower part of the picture FIG. 1 considered, it is shown that the siphon is to the final expiry outside in the valve chamber.
- the inlet then takes place from above, ie from the inlet chamber into the underlying first sub-chamber.
- the corresponding water supply or the necessary tube 8 is below in FIG. 2 shown. From there the dirty water first in one of the first lower sub-chambers, namely in the settling chamber 10th
- the dirty water is to be calmed by a so-called baffle 13 as it continues to flow into the second sub-chamber, namely the first settling chamber 11.
- the baffle 13 is a half-height provided with transverse slots wall. This is intended to calm the dirty water as it continues to flow. The dirty water then enters the second sub-chamber calmed.
- the second sub-chamber i. the first settling chamber 11 is provided on the bottom side with a grid or honeycomb structure 14. These act as so-called mud pockets in which settling sludge completely calm. The water flowing further through the mud collecting pockets no longer causes swirling of the deposited sludge.
- the water then flows through a further wall in which a coarse sieve 16 (mesh size over 1.0 millimeter) is introduced, in the third sub-chamber, which is the second settling chamber 12.
- the coarse filter extends from the bottom to about half the chamber height.
- This sub-chamber also contains bottom side mud collecting pockets 14th There, the water calms down completely.
- a fine sieve 15 (mesh size 0.5 to 1.0 millimeters) is arranged, the water then flows into the valve chamber 7.
- the mesh size of the fine mesh 15 or fine filter is between 0.5 and 1.0 millimeters.
- the water which may also carry light liquids, such as oils, fats, gasoline, etc., now flows into this fourth chamber, designated as the valve chamber 7.
- the density of the float is less than 1, i. at about 0.7.
- the float sinks and seals the valve seat. If there is no light liquid, then the float rises and the water can drain into the sewage system.
- FIG. 2 shows a perspective view of the street inlet.
- the underlying chamber is the inlet chamber 5, in which the drain water enters first.
- the upper inlet chamber is separated from the lower outlet chamber by a separating tray 9.
- a pipe socket 8 is mounted, which opens down into the outlet chamber. This protrudes upwards about half the height into the inlet chamber. This has the consequence that the outlet opening of the inlet chamber is above the bottom of the inlet chamber. Above, there is already a separation of heavy suspended matter.
- the inflowing water then flows down into the outlet chamber, ie into the first sub-chamber of the outlet chamber, which is referred to as the settling chamber 10.
- the inflow from above takes place via a downwardly projecting pipe socket, which from the Runs vertically bent and opens into the pointing in this view to the rear first sub-chamber 10.
- a baffle plate 20 spaced from the opening is arranged, which in addition to the tube bend, also brings about a further calming down of the draining waste water.
- the water continues to flow through the slots of the baffle 13 in the next sub-chamber 11, which is referred to as the first settling chamber 11.
- a grid or honeycomb-shaped structure 14 is introduced into said second sub-chamber, ie the first settling chamber 11, so that the heavy fractions, such as metal dust, etc., can settle into the mud collecting pockets forming by the structure 14 without being affected by the flow or washed out.
- the water flows through a sieve element, i. a coarse filter 16 further into the third sub-chamber, which is the second settling chamber 12, and the bottom side is also covered with a grid or honeycomb structure 14. There is further sludge from.
- the lower edge is arranged approximately in one-third of the height of the outlet area takes place an overflow into the fourth sub-chamber, which is referred to as the valve chamber 7.
- the valve chamber 7 In this the float valve is arranged.
- This consists in the simplest design of a spherical float with a density between 0.7 and 1.
- This float rests on a pipe end with an annular seal.
- the pipe is designed as a siphon and out to the outside. If there is light liquid around the float, it lies firmly on its valve seat and prevents the light liquid from draining into the sewage system. However, if the swimmer floats substantially in water, he experiences the necessary buoyancy to release the valve seat, so that the water can drain. As described above, the solids have already settled and are held in the mud pockets. From there, they can then be sucked in from the outside during inspections of the bottom inlet.
