Description

The invention relates to a carrying basket, preferably cardboard carrying basket, with a carrying tray receiving products to be transported, and with a handle connected to the carrying handle.

Such baskets are made in practice and otherwise by the DE 697 01 457 T2 or the DE 29 50 794 A1 known. Usually, the respective carrying baskets serve to accommodate products to be transported open. As a result, the products are partially accessible and can be easily removed from the carrycot. In general, such carrying baskets, in particular cardboard carrying baskets, equipped with a carrying handle, which is connected approximately centrally to the carrying trough.
Such a cardboard carrying basket, which is also equipped with a carrying handle, for example, by the DE 203 15 008 U1 known.
Also known was a carrying handle for a container after the DE 10 2006 049 147 A1 , This document proposes a carrying handle, which has a shortened prior to use by at least one folding and fixed in this position grip band. Since this handle also has a so-called release tab, it is easily possible to solve the folding as needed, so as to use the full length of the handle for transporting the container. All known configurations have in common that the carrying handles provide the products arranged in the tray no support and no fixation.

Such a cardboard carrying basket, which is also equipped with a carrying handle, for example, by the DE 10 2006 049 147 A1 known. This document proposes a carrying handle, which has a shortened prior to use by at least one folding and fixed in this position grip band. Since this handle also has a so-called release tab, it is easily possible to solve the folding as needed, so as to use the full length of the handle for transporting the container.

A comparable, also equipped with a carrying handle solution was also by the FR 2 653 747 presented.

Also the DE 42 24 696 A1 shows a packaging container with a, attached to this packaging container carrying handle, wherein the carrying handle is fixed in an initial state by means of a, its length-shortening fold tightly against the packaging container. Furthermore, this document proposes that the carrying handle in its initial state, ie when it has the shortened length, can be arranged in two alternative, different positions on the packaging container, which should result in advantages in handling the packaging container. All known configurations have in common that the carrying handles provide the products arranged in the tray no support and no fixation.

US 298 3406 discloses a carrying basket in which the handle offers the products arranged in the carrier tub line fixation against lateral movements.

As a result, the products received in the carrycot can collide against each other. This leads in part to damage and / or even glass breakage, when the products are bottles, especially bottles. In addition, the carrying handle is adapted to the height of the products in terms of its length in the case of the carrier baskets known from practice, in order to enable stacking of the carrying baskets one above the other, without the carrying handle, which is usually also made of cardboard, being bent.

This limited length of the carrying handle means that an operator has to reach with his hand between the products in order to reach through a mostly realized opening in the carrying handle. In this process or during subsequent wearing of the carrying basket there is consequently the danger of a hand injury on the part of the operator. Because the hand can get in direct contact with the products to be transported. Such a risk exists especially in the event that bottles with crown caps are used as products, which are especially sharp in the head area and consequently can lead to injuries to the hand of an operator.

Finally, the previously known carrying baskets are relatively expensive in terms of their production. This can be attributed not least to the centrally arranged and made of cardboard carrying handle, which is designed particularly expensive. Here, the invention aims to provide a total remedy.

The invention is based on the technical problem of further developing a carrying basket of the embodiment described at the outset so that the risk of injury can be effectively ruled out given reduced production costs and consistent functionality. In addition, an associated manufacturing process should be specified. Likewise, a device which is particularly suitable for the production of the carrying basket.

To solve this technical problem, a generic basket is within the scope of the invention characterized in that the carrying handle is formed as shortened before use by at least one folding and connected to at least two side walls of the carrying tray grip band.

Regularly, the two side walls of the carrycot, to which the grip is connected opposite. However, this is not mandatory because the grip can in principle be connected to two adjacent side walls or even to all four side walls of the regularly designed as an upwardly open cuboid carrying trough. The relevant and advantageously opposite side walls are preferably the Transverse side walls. In this case, the grip is also fixed and advantageous outside on the side walls.

In this way, on the one hand, it is ensured that the grip strap engages over the carrying tray from the outside, thus leaving the interior of the carrying tray unaffected, which is still available and unchanged in size for receiving the products. On the other hand, the connection of the grip band advantageously ensures at the transverse side walls that a possible tilting moment of the carrying basket is reduced by a passing through both fixing points rotation axis to a minimum or at least dimensioned smaller than if the grip band would be fixed to the associated longitudinal side walls.

It has proven useful if the grip band is connected to the associated side walls of the carrying trough by means of a folding tab which at least partially overlaps and thereby fixes the releasing tab. With the aid of the above-mentioned release tab, the fold can consequently be canceled as required. Due to the fact that the release tab at least partially overlaps the fold and, according to an advantageous embodiment, has at least one loose end, the release tab can be easily removed manually from the fold. Through this operation, the carrying handle is put into use and transferred by an operator to its use position.

However, prior to putting the grip tape on the carrying trough, on the outside on the side walls and the opposite transverse side walls in the example case. Due to the fact that the grip strip rests virtually free of space on the carry-tub and, as it were, snugly fits against the carry-tub surface, no points of attack are made available which unintentionally deform the grip strip inadvertently to the carrying loop before deliberately intended putting into use. Accordingly, no damage or disturbances are to be expected during transport, so that the grip band remains intact and is not deformed. Only when the release tab is actively removed by the operator by grasping the loose end, the strap can be defined defined.

As a rule, the grip band is subdivided into a fixing area and a free area. The fixing area and the free area are connected before putting the grip band into use by folding at at least one end of the free area. After putting into use, the outdoor area together with the fold forms the carrying loop. In contrast, the fixing area ensures that the grip is properly connected to the carrycot. For this purpose, the fixation is wholly or partially coupled with the carrycot. In this case, the grip band is composed in a variant of the middle open area, which at its two ends in each case before its use has the fold, followed by the respective fixing region on both sides. In another variant, however, only one fold is provided at one end of the free area.

The release tab is connected on the one hand to the fold and on the other hand to the receptacle and / or the grip band. The definition of the grip band is generally adhesive on the two or more side walls. In this way, the grip band material can be made different compared to the carrycot. In general, the carrying tray has been produced from cardboard, while the handle tape is a plastic tape. On the one hand, such a plastic band is capable of being able to absorb even large forces with comparatively small dimensions, and on the other hand, it can be produced particularly inexpensively. In addition, the handling compared to a carrying handle made of cardboard is much easier, because the handle thus formed by an operator can not only be easily transferred to its position of use (by removing the release tab), but also striking by convincing handling.

In addition, the grip can take over before its use another function. Because the grip overlaps the products located in the carrycot in this state and / or acts as a spacer between the products. In both cases, the products are fixed prior to use, that is generally during their transport and / or storage. As a result, especially in the case of beverage bottles, there is no longer the danger that they will strike against each other and break. Rather, the products are kept spaced from each other and against the side walls of the receptacle pressed before putting the grip band, because this practically intervenes as a spacer between the products. Only when the grip is transferred to its position of use, the products are released. This is not a problem insofar as in this case an operator has generally purchased the basket and, for example, transported it home.

The grip band is - as already mentioned - divided into the fixing area and the free area. In this case, the fixation is wholly or partially connected to the container, and that regularly adhesive. In contrast, the outdoor area overlaps before putting the grip band into use the products and / or an opening of the carrycot. After putting the grip band into use, the free area together with the fold forms the already mentioned carrying loop.

So that an operator does not collide with the products stored therein after putting the grip tape and the carrying strap into use when carrying the carrying basket according to the invention, the carrying loop is equipped with such a length that a grip area is defined for an operator. This grip area is arranged at least by the amount of a penetration height above a product highest of the products located in the receptacle. That is, the product highest at least the penetration height follows, which ensures that an operator can pass this penetration height with his flat hand. Only above this penetration height is the defined on the strap handle area.

The invention also provides the use of a shortened before use by at least one folding and fixed in this position grip band, namely as connected to a carrying tray of a carrying basket for products carrying handle. For this purpose, the folding is realized at least partially cross-over and thereby fixing release tab. The grip is usually connected to two transverse side walls of the carrycot, the carrycot is designed as an open cuboid.

In addition, the invention relates to a method for producing such a carrying basket. In this context, first a punched blank to define the carrycot produced and then folded. Subsequently, the carrycot can optionally be filled with products. At the end, the grip band shortened by at least one fold is connected as a carrying handle to at least two side walls of the carrying tray. Unless previously the products have already been filled into the carrycot, they can now be placed in the carrycot. Mostly, however, the attachment of the grip tape to the carrycot takes place when the products are already taken up by the carrycot. This gives the carrycot extra stability and can be easily equipped with the grip. In addition, the grip band can be easily inserted as a spacer between the products in this approach. For this purpose, the grip is usually performed tightly over the opening of the carrycot.

Finally, the invention relates to a device for producing such a carrying basket. The device is equipped with a punching device for producing a punching blank from raw material. Furthermore, there is a folding machine, which folds the punched blank to the carrying tray. In addition, a product donation unit for the products is realized as well as a tape dispenser. With the help of the product-dispensing unit, the carry-tub may be filled with the products as described before the handleband is subsequently attached. But it is also possible to place using the product donation unit, the products after attachment of the grip in the carrycot.

The tape dispensing device ensures that a grip band of predetermined length is donated and connected before use by a folding as a shortened carrying handle on at least two side walls of the carrying tray. That is, the tape dispenser not only provides for the supply of the grip band in the required length, but also at the same time for the attachment of the grip band on the side walls of the carrying tray, taking into account the shortened by the folding and thus defined carrying handle.

In the Fig. 1a and 1b a carrier basket is shown, which is constructed essentially in two parts and is composed of a carrying tray 1 and a carrying handle 2 connected to the carrying tray 1. The carrying tray 1 is designed as a cardboard carrying tray 1. Consequently, the carrying basket shown is a cardboard carrying basket, ie one which is predominantly made of cardboard, for example paper or cardboard.

It can be seen that the carrying tray 1 is designed as an upwardly open cuboid for receiving products P, which of course does not constitute a mandatory condition. The products P are in the example case to beverage bottles.

It becomes clear that according to the representation after Fig. 1 a of the handle 2 is shortened before its use by at least one convolution 3. Incidentally, the handle 2 in the example shown on two side walls 1a, in the embodiment, two transverse side walls 1a of the upwardly open in the embodiment cuboid carrying tray 1 is connected. The two transverse side walls 1a are as well as associated longitudinal side walls 1b of the carrying tray 1 opposite.

Before putting the grip band 2 into use and during transport, it fits snugly against the carrying tray 1 and, as it were, without any spacing. The grip band 2 is composed essentially of a fixing region 2a and a clearance region 2b. On the basis of a comparative analysis of the Fig. 1a. 1 b and 2 it can be seen that the grip band 2 has two fixing regions 2a attached to the side surfaces 1a of the carrying tray 1 and an open region 2b arranged between the fixing regions 2a. In the exemplary embodiment, the fold 3 is provided only at one end of the free area 2b, namely at the right end, and consequently connects the relevant (right) end of the free area 2b to the fixing area 2a, for reasons of cost. Of course, both ends of the free area 2b can each pass into a fold 3, to which each of the fixing region 2a connects.

The fixing region 2a of the grip band 2 is wholly or partially connected to the receptacle 1, namely the respective transverse side surfaces 1a in the embodiment. For this purpose may be sprayed onto the grip band 2 before its attachment to the receptacle 1 and the respective side surfaces 1a a liquid, respectively hot liquid, adhesive. This adhesive is applied to the receiving tray 1 facing surface. In contrast, the outwardly facing surface of the grip band 2 is free or has at most a protective coating or may have a (advertising) imprint. The same applies to the release tab 6, which may also be equipped with a pressure on its outwardly facing surface. An adhesive coating is not provided here. Both the grip band 2 and the release tab 6 are essentially rectangular plastic bands which can be produced as plastic strips from, for example, PE (polyethylene), PP (polypropylene) or the like.

Based on the detailed view of Fig. 2 it can be seen that the fold 3 has at least two superimposed folding loops 3a, 3b. Actually, a fixing folding loop 3a connected to the fixing portion 2a is realized as well as an unfilling loop 3b connected to the free portion 2b. The two folding loops 3a, 3b can be detachably connected to each other at their mutually facing inner surfaces. Usually, the folding 3 fixating release tab 6 is sufficient to ensure that the fold 3 does not open unintentionally or the grip 2, the carrying loop 7 forms unplanned. For this purpose, the release tab 6 at least partially overlaps the free-fall loop 3b, that is, on the one hand, connected to the fold 3 and here to the free-fall loop 3b. On the other hand, the release tab 6 enters into a connection with the receptacle 1. In detail, the release tab 6 is connected to the fixing portion 2a of the grip band 2. For this purpose, the release tab 6 may be formed as an adhesive tape with one-sided adhesive coating on the grip band 2 and the folding 3 side facing. Here, however, a loose end 6a of the release tab 6 is recessed, which logically has no adhesive coating. The loose end 6a is used for manual removal of the release tab 6 from the fold 3 when putting the grip band 2 into use.

The grip band 2 and the release tab 6 may each have approximately the same width. In addition, it has been proven that the grip band 2 and the release tab 6 are arranged in a common longitudinal extension along the receptacle 1 or run. Based on Fig. 2 It is clear that the fixing region 2a of the grip band 2 protrudes beyond its length from the release tab 6 and its loose end 6a in the longitudinal extent.
