Definitions
- the present invention relates to the protection of an article of clothing against bodily secretions that can be emitted when the user wears this article. It relates more particularly to a protective piece intended to be incorporated inside an article of clothing in an area thereof which is intended to face a zone of the body of the user likely to emit body secretions.
- the solution consisted of absorbing perspiration before it came into contact with the garment by placing between the garment and the underarm area of the user an absorbent protective piece.
- an absorbent pad disposable, which is composed of two thin sheets which are assembled by thermo welding according to their peripheral edges and between which is disposed at least a thin sheet of absorbent material.
- the sheet which is intended to be placed in contact with the skin is a permeable sheet consisting of entangled fibers while the sheet which is placed in contact with the garment on the inside thereof is an impermeable sheet of plastic material. So perspiration can pass through the first permeable sheet, be absorbed by the sheet or sheets of absorbent material and be prevented from migrating to the garment through the presence of the impermeable sheet.
- the object of the present invention is to overcome the disadvantages mentioned by proposing a protective piece against the visible transfer of body secretions, intended to be incorporated inside an article of clothing in a given zone thereof, which piece comprises at least one absorbent layer and an impermeable outer layer which is intended to come into contact with the article.
- This protective piece is characterized in that it comprises a fabric comprising two faces formed of intertwined threads and interconnected.
- the outer face of the fabric is at least partly an impermeable outer layer and comprises yarns made of a synthetic material;
- the fabric comprises so-called storage yarns, in an absorbent material, being capable of ensuring the storage of the humidity and not being or being little apparent on the external face, -
- the inner face of the fabric that is to say that which is intended to be closest to the wearer of the article, includes son capable of ensuring the absorption and / or transfer of the moisture to the storage wires.
- the fabric is of the three-dimensional type, its two faces being constituted by two walls spaced from one another and interconnected by connecting threads, which are at least in part son of storage .
- Such a fabric is also called 3D knit.
- the capacity of absorption and storage of moisture is a function of the length of the connecting son between the two walls and the density of said connecting son.
- the storage son are at least partly constituted by weft son inserted between the two faces of the fabric. It may be wick or fiber ribbon type.
- the impervious outer layer comprises means for reinforcing the moisture barrier effect of the outer face of the fabric. This may be useful when the piece equips an article of clothing which it is certain that the use will generate significant bodily secretions, particularly with regard to a sports article or an item worn daily, for example a professional clothing.
- the means for reinforcing the moisture-barrier effect of the external face may consist of a treatment agent, in particular a hydrophobic agent, applied to all or part of the constituent wires of the external face.
- the agent may be applied to the outer face of the fabric or the outer face of the fabric may comprise previously hydrophobic treated threads.
- It may also be a coating or an impermeable membrane which is secured to the outer face of the fabric.
- it is a breathable waterproof membrane which is secured to the external face by complexing, that is to say by sticking point by point, for example of the hot melt type, so as to prevent the passage of liquid secretion while allowing the transfer of steam and thus a certain evacuation of moisture.
- this complexing can be completed by an ultrasonic weld at the periphery of the part.
- Ultrasonic peripheral welding has many advantages.
- the protective piece is in a three-dimensional configuration, without edge, adapted to the configuration of the determined area, in particular by thermoforming or thermo-molding.
- the piece known from this document has a sharp edge at the bend of the armhole which on the one hand creates rigidity and, on the other hand, can be a hindrance. for the wearer. This is particularly troublesome for fine clothes or very close to the body, for example a silk blouse, a small female top or a light cotton man's shirt.
- the three-dimensional configuration improves the comfort of the user by ensuring that the protective piece as close as possible to the configuration of the area of the article to which it applies, including the configuration of the armhole , being an axillary piece.
- the protective piece comprises a membrane secured to the outer face of the fabric
- said piece also comprises an outer layer, textile or non-woven, secured to said membrane.
- At least a portion of the son whose intermingling forms the inner face contains multilobed fibers or multilobed filaments with improved moisture transfer.
- This type of fiber or filament has longitudinal channels capable of ensuring by capillarity the transfer of moisture.
- the fibers known under the name COOLMAX® are known in particular.
- At least a portion of the storage wires, which are in an absorbent material are viscose-based yarns, preferably having bacteriostatic properties. It may be bamboo viscose whose advantage lies not only in its high absorption capacity but also in its bacteriostatic properties. It may also be viscose treated bacteriostatic or associated with a silver wire, which has bacteriostatic properties.
- at least a portion of the son whose interlacing forms the outer face of the fabric and which are in a synthetic material are based on polyester; this may also be the case for some of the son connecting the two faces of the fabric.
- the protective piece may also comprise elastic yarns, in particular elastane-based yarns, in particular to improve its deformation capacity in the event of a thermoforming or thermo-molding operation. These threads can be found throughout the structure of the fabric, both in the outer and inner faces and in the connecting son.
- the protective part comprises an outer layer, in particular covering an impermeable membrane
- said outer layer comprises either an adhesive coating, optionally protected by a non-adherent sheet, or a coating or a thermo-adhesive film.
- the user can perform or make to fix the protective part on the appropriate area of the garment, either by applying the adhesive coating to the said area, after having removed the anti-adhesive sheet, or by producing or having the part heat-fixed using the adhesive coating or thermo adhesive film.
- the first way consists in equipping the article with at least one inner pocket formed in the determined zone, said pocket being able to house the protective part. It may be a single bag or, preferably, a first and a second bag whose openings vis-à-vis one another allow the introduction of a first portion the protective piece in the first pocket and the introduction of a second portion of the protective piece in the second pocket. This version is particularly suitable for protective parts having a three-dimensional configuration.
- the or each pocket is formed by bringing to the determined area of the article a panel having a high porosity, a certain elasticity and a good dimensional stability. It is indeed necessary that the bag does not constitute a barrier to the transfer of body secretion to the protective piece and that said piece, especially if it has a three-dimensional configuration, can be easily introduced into the pocket while being well maintained after introduction and without losing the wear.
- a second way of securing the protective part to the determined area of the article consists in fixing said part on said area by gluing with the aid of an adhesive coating or possibly a coating or a thermo-adhesive film. the last being preferably thin and transparent and having a certain elasticity.
- a third way is to integrate the protective piece as a unitary panel, during the making of the article, including sewing. Of course the placement of said protective piece must correspond to the panel located at the specific area to be protected.
- a fourth way consists in the implementation of a fastening system comprising a first element capable of cooperating with a second element, in particular a hook-and-loop hook-and-loop fastening system known under the name Velcro R or a fastening system. magnet attachment system. In this case the first element is disposed in the determined zone of the article while the second element is disposed on the outside of the protective part.

- Figure 2 is a schematic sectional representation of a second example of a protective piece in which the three-dimensional type fabric is associated with a breathable waterproof membrane
- Figure 3 is a schematic sectional representation of a third example of a protective piece further comprising an outer layer and an adhesive coating, protected by a non-stick sheet;
- Figure 4 is a schematic front view of a garment equipped with two axillary protective parts
- FIG. 5 is a diagrammatic representation in perspective of an axillary protective piece, shaped three-dimensionally by thermoforming, for a clothing with armhole of the t-shirt type;
- FIG. 6 is a diagrammatic side view of an axillary protective piece, three-dimensionally shaped by thermoforming, for a jacket-type armhole;
- FIGS. 7A and 7B are two diagrammatic representations of two pockets able to serve as housing for an axillary protective piece, respectively for a man's shirt (FIG. 7A) and for a woman's T-shirt (FIG. 7B).
- Figure 8 is a schematic sectional representation of another embodiment of a protective part which attachment to the garment intervenes through the implementation of a self-gripping hook and loop fasteners system.
- the present invention generally relates to the protection of a given area of an article of clothing against secretions that can be emitted by the body of the user coming opposite this area.
- the first intended application is that of the protection of the axillary zone, that is to say under the arms or under the armpits, but this application is not limiting, it could include the protection of the zone breast of a bra, especially for breastfeeding women.
- the principle of this protection is to ensure that the protective part captures and stores, in an absorbent layer, the secretion emitted while avoiding, thanks to an impermeable outer layer, that this secretion can migrate and stain the skin. article of clothing.
- the protective piece of the present invention consists only of a fabric whose two faces are formed of intertwined threads and which are connected to one another.
- the outer face of the fabric is at least partly an impermeable outer layer and includes threads in a synthetic material.
- This fabric comprises threads in an absorbent material which are little or not apparent on the outer face of the fabric; these are the storage wires.
- the protective piece 1 consists of a fabric 2 which is said to be of the three-dimensional or 3D-knit type, in that it comprises two walls 3 and 6 which are both formed of intertwined threads. , for example, first warp yarns 4 and first weft yarns 5 for the first wall 3 and second warp yarns 7 and second weft yarns 8 for the second wall 6, the two said walls 3 and 6 being connected together.
- connecting son for example son 10 which in the particularly simplified example, illustrated in Figure 1, pass alternately over some of the first warp son 4 of the first wall 3 and par- below some of the second warp son 7 of the second wall 6.
- the method of manufacture of such a fabric of three-dimensional or 3D type is well known in the textile industry. It is possible to adjust the operating conditions of the manufacturing trade to accurately determine the distance separating the two walls 3, 6, the distance occupied exclusively by the connecting wires 10 as well as the density of these connecting wires in the assembly 9.
- the first wall 3, also called internal wall of the fabric, is the one that is intended to be the closest to the wearer of the article.
- the second wall 6, also called outer wall, is the one closest to the inner face of the article.
- the inner wall 3 comprises son 4, 5, which are able to ensure the absorption of moisture from the secretion and / or the transfer of this moisture to the assembly 9 of the connecting son 10.
- This set 9 comprises son 10 in an absorbent material, so as to be able to ensure the storage at least momentary moisture contained in the secretion.
- the outer wall 6 comprises threads 7, 8 which are in a synthetic material and which are interwoven so as to obtain a moisture barrier effect contained in the assembly 9 of the connecting threads 10, which at least part of office storage son.
- the moisture transfer function of the inner wall 3 is achieved by the implementation of son that contain fibers or multilobed filaments, improved moisture transfer, including COOLMAX® fibers. With their multilobal section, said fibers or filaments comprise longitudinal channels acting as capillaries, through which the moisture migrates.
- the moisture storage function of the set 9 of binding wire is ensured by the implementation of bamboo viscose-based yarns which are known for their high absorption capacity and also for their bacteriostatic properties, particularly welcome considering that it is to absorb body secretions.
- the moisture barrier function of the outer wall 6 is obtained by the implementation of polyester-based son, preferably hydrophobic treated.
- the secretion for example transpiration emitted by the armpit comes into contact with the inner wall 3, it diffuses by capillarity along the son 4, 5 to reach the connecting wires which are at said wall 3 so that the moisture in question is gradually absorbed, by pumping effect, by the set 9 of connecting son.
- the outer wall 6, it prevents the moisture stored in the assembly 9 to diffuse directly on the determined area of the article of clothing against which it is in contact.
- the pumping effect mentioned above improves the comfort of the user who no longer has the feeling of humidity, in particular to have wet underarms, moisture being rapidly removed in the storage assembly 9 .
- the fabric 2 however, having a certain porosity, if there is sufficient air circulation, the moisture stored in said fabric 2 can gradually be removed as moist air or water vapor passing through the wall 6.
- the amount of secretions is important or possibly to reduce the thickness of the fabric, it is preferable to enhance the moisture barrier effect of the outer wall 6 so as to avoid any risk of piercing said wall 6.
- This reinforcement can be implemented by applying on the outer wall
- An appropriate treatment agent for example a waterproofing or hydrophobic agent.
- a waterproofing or hydrophobic agent there is in this case a risk of greatly limiting the porosity of the outer wall 6 and therefore its ability to remove the moisture contained in the element 9 acting as a storage area.
- the protective piece 11 also comprises a breathable waterproof membrane 12 which is secured to the outer wall 6.
- a membrane 12 completes the desired moisture barrier effect while having a porosity sufficient to allow the circulation of air which is useful to prevent localized heating of the space between the room and the body of the wearer, heating may include increasing perspiration.
- This porosity must also be sufficient to allow the evacuation, in the form of water vapor, moisture contained in the fabric 2, which correlatively allows a refreshing of its absorption capacity.
- the joining technique between the breathable waterproof membrane 12 and the outer wall 6 must allow the membrane to retain its porosity.
- a point-by-point bonding of the hot-melt type is used.
- FIG. 3 illustrates a third example of a protective piece 13 which differs from the second example by the fastening on the breathable waterproof membrane 12 of an outer layer 14, which may be a light textile or a nonwoven, on the outside of which an adhesive 15 protected by a non-stick sheet 16 is applied.
- the protective piece 13 can be implemented directly by the user. It suffices for the latter to remove the anti-adhesive sheet 6 and to apply the adhesive 15 against the inner face of the underarm area 21 of an article of clothing 28.
- the implementation in this third example of the layer external 14 is justified by the risk of delamination that could occur between the breathable waterproof membrane 12 and the article of clothing 28 in the case where the adhesive 15 would be applied directly to said membrane 12. More generally, the presence of an outer layer 14 is justified whenever there is a risk of degradation or delamination of the membrane, either during the production of the protective part or during its use in the article d 'clothing.
- the implementation of an outer layer 14 is advantageous when it is desired to perform a three-dimensional shaping of the protective part, as shown in FIG.
- the protective parts 1, 11 and 13, the examples of which have been described above, can be incorporated flat into the determined area of the article of clothing, for example in the form of two adjacent sections, as described in FIG. document FR.2.098.986, either in the form of a single piece with lateral cuts along a fold line as described in document EP.322.309.
- the protective piece 19 is in one piece but is placed in a three-dimensional configuration which is adapted to the configuration of the determined area, in particular by thermoforming or thermo-molding.
- thermoforming made from a 3D knit, complexed or not with a membrane and a protective outer layer of the membrane, provides unprecedented flexibility and promotes wearing comfort and also the aesthetics of the protective piece. It also makes it possible to optimize the thickness / effectiveness ratio of the absorption capacity.
- the three-dimensional configuration When the protective piece is intended to protect a brassiere of the mammary secretions, the three-dimensional configuration must be adapted to the configuration of the determined zone of the bra coming to apply on and around the nipple.
- This configuration is simple in that, when using the bra, this area does not deform or very little.
- this room has no edge likely to be an embarrassment or even cause injury, irritation or abrasion, during the repetitive movements of the arm by the user.
- the part 20 has a generally oblong shape, with a longitudinal plane of symmetry L and a transverse plane D, the latter being intended to come substantially below the armhole line of the t-shirt.
- the lines of intersections 22 and 23 of the longitudinal L and transverse planes D with the internal face 20 a of the part that is to say the one which is closest to user, as opposed to the outer face 20b which is intended to come into contact with the t-shirt.
- These two lines 22 and 23 intersect at a point of intersection 24.
- the transverse plane D defines, in the piece 20, a front portion 25 which is intended to come under the arm 27 of the t-shirt 28 and a rear portion 26 which is intended to come against the bust 29 of the t-shirt.
- the protective piece 20 has a three-dimensional configuration without edges.
- This configuration consists in that laterally, close to either side of the transverse plane D, the front portions 25 and 26 form two raised fins 30, 31, each fin being substantially configured according to a cone portion whose apex is substantially at the intersection 24 of the longitudinal L and transverse plane D with the protective part 20.
- the generatrix of the cone portion forming the fins 30, 31 is not necessarily rectilinear but can to be curved, so that the line 23 generally has a concave curvature, like the curvature of the armhole line between the arm 27 and the bust 29 of the t-shirt 28.
- Figure 6 is shown schematically, in side view, the axillary piece 20 of FIG. 5.
- the angle ⁇ at the top of the concave curvature taken by the piece 20 at the line of intersection 22 with the plane longi tudinal L is a piece for a T-armored clothing, including a sportswear type T-shirt or sweatshirt, T-armhole.
- This angle ⁇ is of the order of 90 °, more precisely in the example illustrated it is 87 °.
- the value D1 of the horizontal projection of the front portion 25 is of the order of 53 mm whereas the value D2 of the vertical projection of the rear portion 26 is 71 mm.
- the values of D1 and ⁇ 1 would remain the same while the value D2 of the vertical projection of the rear portion 26 would be increased, being for example 85 mm.
- the value of the projection of the intersection line 23 would be for a women's clothing of 61 mm and for a men's clothing of 80 mm. Of course these values are given as an indication.
- Figure 9 an axillary piece 40 whose three-dimensional configuration is obtained by assembling two sections of parts 41, 42 which are assembled by a flat seam, edge to edge. More specifically, there is shown in this same figure 9, the two sections of parts 41, 42, arranged face to face, before assembly. It can be seen that these two sections both have a concave edge 41a, 42a of the same dimensions and concavity. On the other hand, the two sections themselves are not symmetrical with respect to the axis of symmetry XX 'of the concave edges 41a, 42b.

Abstract
Description
PIECE PROTECTRICE CONTRE LE TRANSFERT DE SECRETIONS PROTECTIVE PIECE AGAINST THE TRANSFER OF SECRETIONS
CORPORELLESPLANT
The present invention relates to the protection of an article of clothing against bodily secretions that can be emitted when the user wears this article. It relates more particularly to a protective piece intended to be incorporated inside an article of clothing in an area thereof which is intended to face a zone of the body of the user likely to emit body secretions.
For a very long time, we have sought to protect ourselves from the negative effects of axillary perspiration, which is often manifested by unpleasant odors and, on clothing, by traces of moisture or even halos in the zone of the underarms. To protect against odors, deodorants or antiperspirants are used, but these can alter the garment by mechanical or color degradations. Such negative effects occur in a variety of conditions: during hot weather, during physical activity or exercise, during stress or anxiety, when taking medication, or during changes (menstruation). pregnancy, breastfeeding, menopause) or hormonal imbalances or simply when a person is overweight. These effects vary from person to person. Some have low sweating, while others have permanent hyper-sweating or hyper-hydrosis: the amount of sweat released by each armpit can range from 0.6 cl to 5 cl / day or more.
To protect the garment, the solution consisted of absorbing perspiration before it came into contact with the garment by placing between the garment and the underarm area of the user an absorbent protective piece. For example in the document FR.2.098.996, it is an absorbent pad, disposable, which is composed of two thin sheets which are assembled by thermo welding according to their peripheral edges and between which is disposed at least a thin sheet of absorbent material. The sheet which is intended to be placed in contact with the skin is a permeable sheet consisting of entangled fibers while the sheet which is placed in contact with the garment on the inside thereof is an impermeable sheet of plastic material. So perspiration can pass through the first permeable sheet, be absorbed by the sheet or sheets of absorbent material and be prevented from migrating to the garment through the presence of the impermeable sheet.
Most of the protective parts of this type that are available on the market are disposable parts and therefore parts that are made of low cost materials, especially nonwovens as is the case for the protective part described in EP.322.309. The manufacture of these parts requires the superposition of the different permeable, absorbent and impermeable layers, to cut and assemble them according to their peripheral edges or to complex them in line or to have them pre-complexed before cutting. In the document EP.322.309, the assembly is done in particular by applying adhesive according to the superimposed edges of the two outer layers.
De plus :If after use it was desired to regenerate such a protective part by performing a manual or machine wash, there would be a significant risk of delamination of the different layers. In addition, assembly operations, whether by glue or by thermo welding, make the manufacturing process more complex. These disadvantages exist in the same way when the protective piece is intended to protect not against axillary sweating but against any other body secretion, including breast flow. The object of the present invention is to overcome the disadvantages mentioned by proposing a protective piece against the visible transfer of body secretions, intended to be incorporated inside an article of clothing in a given zone thereof, which piece comprises at least one absorbent layer and an impermeable outer layer which is intended to come into contact with the article. This protective piece is characterized in that it comprises a fabric comprising two faces formed of intertwined threads and interconnected. Moreover :
- la face externe de l'étoffe fait au moins en partie office de couche externe imperméable et comprend des fils dans un matériau synthétique, - l'étoffe comprend des fils dits de stockage, dans un matériau absorbant, étant aptes à assurer le stockage de l'humidité et n'étant pas ou étant peu apparents sur la face externe, - et la face interne de l'étoffe, c'est-à-dire celle qui est destinée à être le plus proche du porteur de l'article, comprend des fils aptes à assurer l'absorption et/ou le transfert de l'humidité vers les fils de stockage.the outer face of the fabric is at least partly an impermeable outer layer and comprises yarns made of a synthetic material; the fabric comprises so-called storage yarns, in an absorbent material, being capable of ensuring the storage of the humidity and not being or being little apparent on the external face, - And the inner face of the fabric, that is to say that which is intended to be closest to the wearer of the article, includes son capable of ensuring the absorption and / or transfer of the moisture to the storage wires.
Thus, thanks to the particular mode chosen for the manufacture of the fabric and by a judicious choice of components involved in the manufacture of this fabric, it has been possible to obtain a protective piece fulfilling the same functions as those known in the state. of the technique in a single operation, without assembling different layers. So we get a manufacturing process that is simpler and especially a protective piece that is perfectly washable without any risk of delamination.
In an alternative embodiment, the fabric is of the three-dimensional type, its two faces being constituted by two walls spaced from one another and interconnected by connecting threads, which are at least in part son of storage . Such a fabric is also called 3D knit. Thus the capacity of absorption and storage of moisture is a function of the length of the connecting son between the two walls and the density of said connecting son.
In another alternative embodiment, the storage son are at least partly constituted by weft son inserted between the two faces of the fabric. It may be wick or fiber ribbon type. Advantageously, the impervious outer layer comprises means for reinforcing the moisture barrier effect of the outer face of the fabric. This may be useful when the piece equips an article of clothing which it is certain that the use will generate significant bodily secretions, particularly with regard to a sports article or an item worn daily, for example a professional clothing.
The means for reinforcing the moisture-barrier effect of the external face may consist of a treatment agent, in particular a hydrophobic agent, applied to all or part of the constituent wires of the external face. The agent may be applied to the outer face of the fabric or the outer face of the fabric may comprise previously hydrophobic treated threads.
It may also be a coating or an impermeable membrane which is secured to the outer face of the fabric. Preferably it is a breathable waterproof membrane which is secured to the external face by complexing, that is to say by sticking point by point, for example of the hot melt type, so as to prevent the passage of liquid secretion while allowing the transfer of steam and thus a certain evacuation of moisture.
Advantageously, this complexing can be completed by an ultrasonic weld at the periphery of the part. Ultrasonic peripheral welding has many advantages.
It preserves the quality of the axillary piece against wear and washing damage, especially the risk of fraying, - It has an anti-leak function: the consolidation seals the edges and avoids the transfer of humidity around the room,
It has an aesthetic function: it allows to maintain in time the perception of finesse of the article, especially with regard to the female version according to which the welding is preferably performed by a wheel-shaped sonotrode which scallops the edge of the room.
It strengthens the solidarity of the constituent layers of the room and their non-dislocation worn.
In an alternative embodiment, the protective piece is in a three-dimensional configuration, without edge, adapted to the configuration of the determined area, in particular by thermoforming or thermo-molding. As is clear from FIG. 1 of document FR.2.098.996, the piece known from this document has a sharp edge at the bend of the armhole which on the one hand creates rigidity and, on the other hand, can be a hindrance. for the wearer. This is particularly troublesome for fine clothes or very close to the body, for example a silk blouse, a small female top or a light cotton man's shirt. The three-dimensional configuration improves the comfort of the user by ensuring that the protective piece as close as possible to the configuration of the area of the article to which it applies, including the configuration of the armhole , being an axillary piece.
In the case where the protective piece comprises a membrane secured to the outer face of the fabric, preferably said piece also comprises an outer layer, textile or non-woven, secured to said membrane. This particular provision is to avoid any risk of degradation of the membrane during the operation to put the piece in a three-dimensional configuration, including a thermoforming or thermo-molding operation, the outer layer providing protection and a certain mechanical reinforcement of the membrane. In addition, the presence of this outer layer eliminates the noise that could generate the membrane when wearing the article, and therefore its perception by others.
On connaît en particulier les fibres connues sous l'appellation COOLMAX®.In an alternative embodiment, at least a portion of the son whose intermingling forms the inner face contains multilobed fibers or multilobed filaments with improved moisture transfer. This type of fiber or filament has longitudinal channels capable of ensuring by capillarity the transfer of moisture. The fibers known under the name COOLMAX® are known in particular.
In an alternative embodiment, at least a portion of the storage wires, which are in an absorbent material, are viscose-based yarns, preferably having bacteriostatic properties. It may be bamboo viscose whose advantage lies not only in its high absorption capacity but also in its bacteriostatic properties. It may also be viscose treated bacteriostatic or associated with a silver wire, which has bacteriostatic properties. In an alternative embodiment, at least a portion of the son whose interlacing forms the outer face of the fabric and which are in a synthetic material are based on polyester; this may also be the case for some of the son connecting the two faces of the fabric.
The protective piece may also comprise elastic yarns, in particular elastane-based yarns, in particular to improve its deformation capacity in the event of a thermoforming or thermo-molding operation. These threads can be found throughout the structure of the fabric, both in the outer and inner faces and in the connecting son.
In an alternative embodiment, according to which the protective part comprises an outer layer, in particular covering an impermeable membrane, said outer layer comprises either an adhesive coating, optionally protected by a non-adherent sheet, or a coating or a thermo-adhesive film. In this embodiment, the user can perform or make to fix the protective part on the appropriate area of the garment, either by applying the adhesive coating to the said area, after having removed the anti-adhesive sheet, or by producing or having the part heat-fixed using the adhesive coating or thermo adhesive film. It is another object of the invention to claim an article of clothing of which at least one predetermined zone, which is intended to cover at least one zone of the user generating body secretions, is provided with a protective piece as described in one or the other of the variants described above. The securing of said protective piece to the determined area of the article can be obtained in different ways.
The first way consists in equipping the article with at least one inner pocket formed in the determined zone, said pocket being able to house the protective part.
Advantageously the or each pocket is formed by bringing to the determined area of the article a panel having a high porosity, a certain elasticity and a good dimensional stability. It is indeed necessary that the bag does not constitute a barrier to the transfer of body secretion to the protective piece and that said piece, especially if it has a three-dimensional configuration, can be easily introduced into the pocket while being well maintained after introduction and without losing the wear.
A second way of securing the protective part to the determined area of the article consists in fixing said part on said area by gluing with the aid of an adhesive coating or possibly a coating or a thermo-adhesive film. the last being preferably thin and transparent and having a certain elasticity. A third way is to integrate the protective piece as a unitary panel, during the making of the article, including sewing. Of course the placement of said protective piece must correspond to the panel located at the specific area to be protected. A fourth way consists in the implementation of a fastening system comprising a first element capable of cooperating with a second element, in particular a hook-and-loop hook-and-loop fastening system known under the name Velcro R or a fastening system. magnet attachment system. In this case the first element is disposed in the determined zone of the article while the second element is disposed on the outside of the protective part.
It is another object of the invention to claim an article of clothing having a given type of armhole, said article comprising two axillary protective pieces arranged in areas facing armpit whose three-dimensional configuration is a function of the type of armhole. 'armhole. It is another object of the present invention to provide a protective assembly which comprises firstly a protective piece as described in the various variants above and a pocket adapted to receive said protective piece and adapted to be fixed on a defined area of an article of clothing, the attachment may in particular be carried out by adhesive or thermo adhesive. Thus, by procuring such a protective assembly, the user can fix or fix this set on his article of clothing and use this article with or without the protective piece according to the type of activity that he envisages.
La présente invention sera mieux comprise à la lecture de la description qui va être faite ci-après de plusieurs exemples de réalisation de pièces protectrice contre le transfert visible de sécrétions corporelles et de leur fixation sur une zone déterminée d'un vêtement, illustrés par les dessins annexés dans lesquels : La figure 1 est une représentation schématique en coupe d'un premier exemple de pièce protectrice consistant exclusivement en une étoffe de type tridimensionnel ; La figure 2 est une représentation schématique en coupe d'un deuxième exemple de pièce protectrice dans laquelle l'étoffe de type tridimensionnel est associée à une membrane imper respirante ; La figure 3 est une représentation schématique en coupe d'un troisième exemple de pièce protectrice comportant de plus une couche extérieure et une enduction adhésive, protégée par une feuille anti-adhérente ;The present invention will be better understood on reading the description which will be made hereinafter of several exemplary embodiments of protective parts against the visible transfer of body secretions and their attachment to a given area of a garment, illustrated by the attached drawings in which: Figure 1 is a schematic sectional representation of a first example of a protective piece consisting exclusively of a three-dimensional type of fabric; Figure 2 is a schematic sectional representation of a second example of a protective piece in which the three-dimensional type fabric is associated with a breathable waterproof membrane; Figure 3 is a schematic sectional representation of a third example of a protective piece further comprising an outer layer and an adhesive coating, protected by a non-stick sheet;

Figure 8 is a schematic sectional representation of another embodiment of a protective part which attachment to the garment intervenes through the implementation of a self-gripping hook and loop fasteners system.
The present invention generally relates to the protection of a given area of an article of clothing against secretions that can be emitted by the body of the user coming opposite this area. The first intended application is that of the protection of the axillary zone, that is to say under the arms or under the armpits, but this application is not limiting, it could include the protection of the zone breast of a bra, especially for breastfeeding women.
In all cases, the principle of this protection is to ensure that the protective part captures and stores, in an absorbent layer, the secretion emitted while avoiding, thanks to an impermeable outer layer, that this secretion can migrate and stain the skin. article of clothing. In its most basic concept, the protective piece of the present invention consists only of a fabric whose two faces are formed of intertwined threads and which are connected to one another. The outer face of the fabric is at least partly an impermeable outer layer and includes threads in a synthetic material. This fabric comprises threads in an absorbent material which are little or not apparent on the outer face of the fabric; these are the storage wires. Finally, the inner face of the fabric comprises son able to ensure the absorption and / or transfer of moisture to the storage son. In the first embodiment, given on a non-exclusive basis, the protective piece 1 consists of a fabric 2 which is said to be of the three-dimensional or 3D-knit type, in that it comprises two walls 3 and 6 which are both formed of intertwined threads. , for example, first warp yarns 4 and first weft yarns 5 for the first wall 3 and second warp yarns 7 and second weft yarns 8 for the second wall 6, the two said walls 3 and 6 being connected together. between them by a set 9 of connecting son, for example son 10 which in the particularly simplified example, illustrated in Figure 1, pass alternately over some of the first warp son 4 of the first wall 3 and par- below some of the second warp son 7 of the second wall 6. The method of manufacture of such a fabric of three-dimensional or 3D type is well known in the textile industry. It is possible to adjust the operating conditions of the manufacturing trade to accurately determine the distance separating the two walls 3, 6, the distance occupied exclusively by the connecting wires 10 as well as the density of these connecting wires in the assembly 9.
The first wall 3, also called internal wall of the fabric, is the one that is intended to be the closest to the wearer of the article. The second wall 6, also called outer wall, is the one closest to the inner face of the article. The inner wall 3 comprises son 4, 5, which are able to ensure the absorption of moisture from the secretion and / or the transfer of this moisture to the assembly 9 of the connecting son 10. This set 9 comprises son 10 in an absorbent material, so as to be able to ensure the storage at least momentary moisture contained in the secretion. The outer wall 6 comprises threads 7, 8 which are in a synthetic material and which are interwoven so as to obtain a moisture barrier effect contained in the assembly 9 of the connecting threads 10, which at least part of office storage son. In a specific embodiment, the moisture transfer function of the inner wall 3 is achieved by the implementation of son that contain fibers or multilobed filaments, improved moisture transfer, including COOLMAX® fibers. With their multilobal section, said fibers or filaments comprise longitudinal channels acting as capillaries, through which the moisture migrates.
In this example, the moisture storage function of the set 9 of binding wire is ensured by the implementation of bamboo viscose-based yarns which are known for their high absorption capacity and also for their bacteriostatic properties, particularly welcome considering that it is to absorb body secretions.
In this example, the moisture barrier function of the outer wall 6 is obtained by the implementation of polyester-based son, preferably hydrophobic treated. Thus, in the case where the protective piece 1 is integrated as such in an article of clothing, the secretion, for example transpiration emitted by the armpit comes into contact with the inner wall 3, it diffuses by capillarity along the son 4, 5 to reach the connecting wires which are at said wall 3 so that the moisture in question is gradually absorbed, by pumping effect, by the set 9 of connecting son. As for the outer wall 6, it prevents the moisture stored in the assembly 9 to diffuse directly on the determined area of the article of clothing against which it is in contact.
The pumping effect mentioned above improves the comfort of the user who no longer has the feeling of humidity, in particular to have wet underarms, moisture being rapidly removed in the storage assembly 9 .
Ce renforcement peut être mis en œuvre en appliquant sur la paroi externeThe fabric 2, however, having a certain porosity, if there is sufficient air circulation, the moisture stored in said fabric 2 can gradually be removed as moist air or water vapor passing through the wall 6. However, if the amount of secretions is important or possibly to reduce the thickness of the fabric, it is preferable to enhance the moisture barrier effect of the outer wall 6 so as to avoid any risk of piercing said wall 6. This reinforcement can be implemented by applying on the outer wall
An appropriate treatment agent, for example a waterproofing or hydrophobic agent. However, there is in this case a risk of greatly limiting the porosity of the outer wall 6 and therefore its ability to remove the moisture contained in the element 9 acting as a storage area.
This risk is the same, even accentuated, if one uses as a means of reinforcement an impermeable membrane.
Consequently, according to the second example illustrated in FIG. 2, the protective piece 11 also comprises a breathable waterproof membrane 12 which is secured to the outer wall 6. Such a membrane 12 completes the desired moisture barrier effect while having a porosity sufficient to allow the circulation of air which is useful to prevent localized heating of the space between the room and the body of the wearer, heating may include increasing perspiration. This porosity must also be sufficient to allow the evacuation, in the form of water vapor, moisture contained in the fabric 2, which correlatively allows a refreshing of its absorption capacity.
The joining technique between the breathable waterproof membrane 12 and the outer wall 6 must allow the membrane to retain its porosity. Preferably, a point-by-point bonding of the hot-melt type is used.
According to this third example, the protective piece 13 can be implemented directly by the user. It suffices for the latter to remove the anti-adhesive sheet 6 and to apply the adhesive 15 against the inner face of the underarm area 21 of an article of clothing 28. The implementation in this third example of the layer external 14 is justified by the risk of delamination that could occur between the breathable waterproof membrane 12 and the article of clothing 28 in the case where the adhesive 15 would be applied directly to said membrane 12. More generally, the presence of an outer layer 14 is justified whenever there is a risk of degradation or delamination of the membrane, either during the production of the protective part or during its use in the article d 'clothing. In particular, the implementation of an outer layer 14 is advantageous when it is desired to perform a three-dimensional shaping of the protective part, as shown in FIG.
Of course, the protective parts 1, 11 and 13, the examples of which have been described above, can be incorporated flat into the determined area of the article of clothing, for example in the form of two adjacent sections, as described in FIG. document FR.2.098.986, either in the form of a single piece with lateral cuts along a fold line as described in document EP.322.309.
Cependant, ces modes de réalisation connus n'apportent pas tout le confort possible à l'utilisateur, la zone d'assemblage des deux tronçons superposés du document FR.2.098.986 ou le pliage du document EP 322.309, constituant, du fait de la présence des arêtes qui en découle, une gêne au porter, notamment dans cette zone particulièrement sensible qu'est la zone des aissellesHowever, these known embodiments do not provide all the comfort possible for the user, the assembly area of the two superimposed sections of the document FR.2.098.986 or the folding of the document EP 322.309, constituting, because of the presence of ridges that results, an inconvenience to wear, especially in this particularly sensitive area that is the armpit area
According to the invention, preferably, the protective piece 19 is in one piece but is placed in a three-dimensional configuration which is adapted to the configuration of the determined area, in particular by thermoforming or thermo-molding.
The thermoforming, made from a 3D knit, complexed or not with a membrane and a protective outer layer of the membrane, provides unprecedented flexibility and promotes wearing comfort and also the aesthetics of the protective piece. It also makes it possible to optimize the thickness / effectiveness ratio of the absorption capacity.
When the protective piece is intended to protect a brassiere of the mammary secretions, the three-dimensional configuration must be adapted to the configuration of the determined zone of the bra coming to apply on and around the nipple. This configuration is simple in that, when using the bra, this area does not deform or very little. However, in the case of a room for axillary protection, it is important that this room has no edge likely to be an embarrassment or even cause injury, irritation or abrasion, during the repetitive movements of the arm by the user.
Ces deux lignes 22 et 23 se coupent en un point d'intersection 24.Referring to Figure 5, the part 20 has a generally oblong shape, with a longitudinal plane of symmetry L and a transverse plane D, the latter being intended to come substantially below the armhole line of the t-shirt. In FIG. 5, the lines of intersections 22 and 23 of the longitudinal L and transverse planes D with the internal face 20 a of the part, that is to say the one which is closest to user, as opposed to the outer face 20b which is intended to come into contact with the t-shirt. These two lines 22 and 23 intersect at a point of intersection 24.
The transverse plane D defines, in the piece 20, a front portion 25 which is intended to come under the arm 27 of the t-shirt 28 and a rear portion 26 which is intended to come against the bust 29 of the t-shirt. The protective piece 20 has a three-dimensional configuration without edges.
This configuration consists in that laterally, close to either side of the transverse plane D, the front portions 25 and 26 form two raised fins 30, 31, each fin being substantially configured according to a cone portion whose apex is substantially at the intersection 24 of the longitudinal L and transverse plane D with the protective part 20. As can be seen in Figure 5, the generatrix of the cone portion forming the fins 30, 31 is not necessarily rectilinear but can to be curved, so that the line 23 generally has a concave curvature, like the curvature of the armhole line between the arm 27 and the bust 29 of the t-shirt 28. In Figure 6 is shown schematically, in side view, the axillary piece 20 of FIG. 5. In this figure, in particular, the angle α at the top of the concave curvature taken by the piece 20 at the line of intersection 22 with the plane longi tudinal L. In the example shown in Figure 6, it is a piece for a T-armored clothing, including a sportswear type T-shirt or sweatshirt, T-armhole. This angle α is of the order of 90 °, more precisely in the example illustrated it is 87 °. Moreover, with reference to FIG. 6, in the case of a women's article, the value D1 of the horizontal projection of the front portion 25 is of the order of 53 mm whereas the value D2 of the vertical projection of the rear portion 26 is 71 mm. In the case of an article with T-armhole for men, the values of D1 and α1 would remain the same while the value D2 of the vertical projection of the rear portion 26 would be increased, being for example 85 mm. In comparison, the value of the projection of the intersection line 23 would be for a women's clothing of 61 mm and for a men's clothing of 80 mm. Of course these values are given as an indication.
In the case of an article armhole jacket type, also said sleeves mounted, only the values of the angle α at the top would be modified; preferably this angle α2 would be between 70 and 75 °, preferably 73 °.
The assembly of these two sections 41, 42 is done by a flat seam 43 according to the two concave edges 41a, 42a along the entire length thereof which are brought closer to one another gradually during sewing. This operation makes it possible to obtain a shaping of the same type as that obtained in FIG. 5. As it appears in FIG. 9, the sewing line 43 passes through the intersection 24 of the longitudinal L and transverse plane D, said line seam 43 making a determined angle, preferably of the order of 15 ° with respect to the line of intersection 23 with the transverse plane D.
In this embodiment, the axillary piece is housed in two pockets 50, 51 which are formed on the inside of the garment, on either side of the armhole line so that their respective openings 50a, 51a are vis-à-vis, possibly being reinforced by a hem 52. The smaller pocket 50 serves as a housing for the front portion 25 while the larger pocket 51 serves as a housing for the rear portion 26 of the room 20. The internal dimensions of the two pockets are slightly oversized relative to the outer dimensions of the axillary part 20 so as to allow its positioning without much difficulty. These pockets 50, 51 are for example fixed by gluing in a peripheral zone 50b, 51b, delimited in FIG. 7 by dotted lines. The front edge, along the opening, of each pocket has a concave curvature so as to adapt to the configuration of the armhole. These pockets may be consolidated tulle base towards their opening, for example by a hem. Once positioned inside the two pockets, the axillary piece 20 is perfectly held in place being somehow trapped in these two pockets, any relative movement of the piece in a pocket pushing the room at the bottom of the other pocket.
The shape of each pocket 50,51 must be adapted to the configuration respectively of the front portion 25 and the rear portion 26 of the piece 20, which itself depends on the armhole type of the garment. By way of example, FIG. 7A illustrates pockets 50, 51 for a man's shirt and FIG. 7B shows pockets 50, 51 for a women's T-shirt. In all cases, the retained form must achieve a good maintenance of the part 20, preventing it from leaving one and / or the other of said pockets 50, when wearing the garment.
In practice, to form the two pockets 50, 51, a textile panel is used including a grid or a lace fabric, for example tulle, honeycomb, or lace, having a high porosity, elasticity and good stability dimensional, so firstly that the pockets do not constitute a barrier to the transfer of perspiration or perspiration emitted by the body of the user to the axillary piece 20 and secondly that said piece can s easily introduce into the pocket while being well maintained and without distending to wear, the bag does not constitute a constraint of deformation of the three-dimensional configuration of the piece. Of course it would be possible to accommodate the axillary piece not in two pockets as described above but in a single pocket but it would make it more difficult to introduce the axillary piece and secondly would not allow the abutment of the room during the movements of the arm. When the axillary piece is intended to be housed in one or two pockets, the assembly constituted by the pocket or pockets and the piece may be proposed as a protective assembly, provided that the pocket or pouches are able to be fixed on the zone of the armpit of the article of clothing, this attachment may be in particular made by adhesive or thermo-adhesive.
There are other ways to make the piece integral with the article of clothing. This can be done by a final fixing of the piece on the article by gluing with the aid of an adhesive coating or possibly a coating or a thermo adhesive film. Preferably, in the latter case, the film must be thin and transparent and have a certain elasticity. It is this embodiment which is illustrated in the third example described above, in connection with FIG.
The attachment of the part can also be removable by using in particular a removable fastening system implementing a first integral element of the workpiece, on the outer face thereof, and a second element integral with the article d ' clothing, the two said elements being able to cooperate with each other for a removable attachment. FIG. 7 describes an embodiment of this type of fastener, in which the part 1 comprises, on its outer face 1a, loop elements 50 while hook elements 51 are fixed inside the article of clothing 52. These are hook and loop elements of the type of self-gripping system known under the name Velcro®. Of course other removable fastening systems can be used, either by snap or magnetization system.
