Einen wesentlichen Bestandteil derartiger Umformsysteme bilden Mehrstösel-Transfersysteme wie z.B. Pressenstraßen, bei welchen im Rahmen mehrerer Arbeitsschritte unverformte Blechplatinen in entsprechende Werkstücke umgeformt werden. Die Blechplatinen werden hierbei von ihrem unverformten Rohzustand ausgehend nacheinander in einzelne Pressenmodule eingelegt, in welchen die einzelnen Umformungs- bzw. sonstige Bearbeitungsschritte erfolgen. Vor dem Eintritt in eine derartige Pressenstraße sowie zwischen den einzelnen Bearbeitungsstationen übernehmen Transporteinrichtungen die Übergabe sowohl der unverformten Platine an die erste Bearbeitungsstation als auch die Übergabe zwischen den einzelnen Bearbeitungsstationen.
