Abstract

The device (1) has a band-like support (2) with an adhesive surface (3) on one of sides, where multiple hairs (5) are fixed at the band-like support. The hairs transversely extend away with respect to the band-like support. The support progressively deforms plastically until two partial lengths (4, 6) of the support lie flat against each other with portions arranged in between on the adhesive surface. A deformable metal insert extends over the entire length of the support. The adhesive surface is provided with a removable cover.

Description

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The invention relates to a device for hair supplement with the features of the preamble of independent claim 1.

Such a device can be used, for example, to supplement the natural hair of a person or the hair of a wig to a different colored strand. However, such a device can also be used to supplement the existing hair in the sense of an extension. One speaks then of hair extension or also in German of "Hair Extension". What the hair restoration device is used for is not critical to the present invention.

STATE OF THE ART

As a device for hair supplement combined into bundles natural or synthetic hair are known to be attached with a thermoplastic adhesive to the natural hair of a person. The safe yet inconspicuous attachment of such a device for hair supplement is possible only by professionals with great expenditure of time.

There are also devices for hair supplementation with a carrier known from which the individual hair of the hair supplement projecting transversely and is to be connected by a sewing or knotting with the natural hair of a person. Also, this connection can be made safely and inconspicuously only by professionals with great time. Further, it is known to make a hair supplement in that additional hair and natural hair of a person performed together by a clamping ring and fixed by squeezing this clamping ring together. Also, this type of hair supplement requires specialist staff and a great deal of time for safe and inconspicuous attachment.

From the DE 20 2005 010 845 U a device for hair supplement is known which has the features of the preamble of independent claim 1. In this case, the attachment of this device to the natural hair of a person is provided so that two hair-occupied portions of the band-shaped carrier are glued to each other with the interposition of a strand of natural hair of the person with their adhesive surfaces, whereby the two sections of the wearer to each other and to the natural hair to be fixed. In particular, the natural hairs are hermetically enclosed between the adhesive surfaces, which ensures a permanent attachment of the two sections of the wearer to the strand. At the same time, this known device for hair supplementation in the attached state is very inconspicuous, as it shows hairs on both sides also in the region of the wearer, which are fastened here parallel to one another on the support and lie under a matt but transparent cover. The carrier itself consists in the known device for hair supplement essentially of a double-sided adhesive tape, which forms the adhesive surface on one side, while on the other side, the hair are fixed to the tape. The attachment of this known device for hair supplement is much easier than in the previously presented devices for hair supplement, but usually requires the use of specialized personnel.

The use of specialized personnel, which is not only associated with costs but also requires that the person interested in a hair supplement visits such specialist staff for a longer period, is avoided when using so-called comb clips with attached hair band sections for hair supplementation. The comb clips, however, contribute considerably and in particular do not allow the person to lie on the corresponding points of the head without the comb clips pressing uncomfortably into the scalp.

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The invention has for its object to provide a device for hair supplement with the feature of the preamble of independent claim 1, which requires the safe and inconspicuous attachment of any specialist personnel and possibly even by the person who wishes the hair supplement, even be attached.

SOLUTION

According to the invention this object is achieved by a device for hair supplement with the features of independent claim 1. The independent claims 2 to 14 relate to preferred embodiments of the new device. The dependent claim 15 relates to a preferred use of the new device.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In the new device for hair supplement, the carrier to which the hair is attached, progressively plastically deformable until two partial lengths of the carrier abut each other with interposition of their shares in the adhesive surface to each other. As a result, the carrier can first be brought into a form in which the two partial lengths are aligned in a V-shape relative to one another. In the thus formed "mouth" of the device, a strand of the natural hair of a person can be introduced, around which then the two partial lengths of the carrier are compressed. Here, the natural hair between the shares of the adhesive surface of the two partial lengths of the carrier are included and set the carrier and thus attached to him hair on the natural hair of the person. This type of procedure, which is not feasible with known devices for hair supplementation, requires no specialist personnel and can be carried out even with little skill by the interested in a hair supplement person himself.

The fact that the carrier is progressively plastically deformable means that it is deformable at least in the V-shaped arrangement of the partial lengths of the carrier and at least substantially retains this arrangement and that he also after compressing the two partial lengths of the carrier with their shares in the Adhesive surface does not tend to jump up again but preferably even a certain clamping force on the applied between the part lengths of the wearer arranged natural hair of each person.

Such a plastic deformability is most easily realized by a plastically deformable metallic insert. Thus, a deformable metal wire in the form of one or more parallel tracks can be embedded in the carrier. However, a band-shaped metallic insert is preferred. This metallic insert can form almost the entire carrier, i. H. except for the adhesive surface on one side and the material for applying the hair on the other side. However, a band-shaped metallic insert can also be embedded in a double-sided adhesive tape as a carrier, for example, by two layers of double-sided adhesive tape are glued together with the interposition of the metallic insert. In any case, it proves to be advantageous if the plastically deformable metallic insert extends over the substantial length of the carrier in order to stabilize the carrier in all functional positions over its entire length in its particular desired spatial form. In addition, a plastically deformable metallic insert extending over the entire length of the support also permits an adaptation of the device for supplementing the hair to curves of the head of the person interested in the hair supplement, by correspondingly plastically bending the adjoining partial lengths of the support.

In principle, however, the carrier must have only a single predetermined bending point around which it can be bent under plastic deformation. Outside this predetermined bending point, which connects the two partial lengths of the carrier one behind the other, the carrier can also be stiffened and, for example, consist of a plastic which forms a film hinge with the metallic insert in the region of the predetermined bending point.

In principle, the hair of the new device for hair extension over the entire length of the wearer can be fixed to this. Preferably, however, the hairs are fixed to the wearer only over one of the partial lengths of the wearer, while the adhesive surface also extends beyond the other, non-haired part length of the wearer. As a result, the attachment of the new device for hair extension is made even easier.

In any case, each of the two partial lengths can make up one-half of the length of the carrier. But it is also possible, a hair-filled middle part length of the carrier with two only half lengths and each connected via a predetermined bending point with the middle part length partial lengths to combine.

Before using the new device whose adhesive surface is preferably covered by a removable cover sheet. In this case, the adhesive surface can be covered over each of the partial lengths of the carrier with a separate portion of the cover, so that the adhesive surface over the individual partial lengths is selectively exposed. The wearer of the new device for hair extension can also be adhesively bonded with its adhesive surface on a goods sales carrier. This merchandise sales carrier may be provided for a single device for hair extension or for several identical or different devices for hair extension.

The hair of the new device for hair extension are preferably as in the prior art according to the DE 20 2005 010 845 U mounted parallel to each other lying on the carrier. The hair may be colored in at least one non-natural color to be used as a hair supplement in the form of a colored strand. The hair of the new device can be especially for cost reasons but also to promote their secure anchoring to the wearer and easier handling by non-specialist artificial hair, which in contrast to real hair have no scales and correspondingly less prone to matting.

The inventive use of a new device for hair supplement has already been described in the context of the explanation of the device itself. It should be added at this point that the new device preferably should be attached to the natural hair of the person close to the scalp of the person who wishes the hair supplement, in order to remain particularly inconspicuous. In particular, this is useful if the hair of the device for hair supplementation should be combed together with the natural hair of the person. If the new hair restoration device has been properly installed, which is done without great skill even by non-specialist personnel, it will easily last for several weeks. However, it can also be removed very quickly, for example, by dissolving the adhesive with alcohol.

DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES
