- The gate according to Claim 7, characterised in that at least one guide arrangement (10, 20) is made essentially in a U-shape with a connection leg (12, 22) and side legs (14, 16; 24, 26) extending from the lateral edges of the connection leg (12, 22) in the direction of the space to be closed by the gate leaf, a lateral edge of the gate leaf being held between the side legs (14, 16; 24, 26) in the closed position.
- The gate according to Claim 8, characterised in that the transmitter arrangement (30) and/or the receiver arrangement (40) is fitted to a boundary surface of the connection leg (12, 22) that is facing the opening.
- The gate according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the gate leaf can be wound onto a winding shaft over the course of the opening movement and is preferably made as a pliable track-shaped curtain.
- The gate according to Claim 10, characterised in that on the edge of the track-shaped curtain which precedes during a closing movement, a preferably elastically deformable stabilisation arrangement is fitted that counteracts the deformation of this edge.
- The gate according to Claim 11, characterised in that the reset force of the stabilisation arrangement that counters the deformation in the closing direction is less than the reset force that counters a deformation transversely to the latter.
- The gate according to Claim 12, characterised in that the stabilisation arrangement has at least one leaf spring, preferably embedded in an elastomer material, with main surfaces aligned transversely to the closing direction.
- The gate according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the control device is designed to stop the movement of the gate leaf if both a first control signal and a second control signal is generated.
- The gate according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the first control signals can be generated in response to activation of at least one mechanical switch, in particular a snap switch, that is fitted to at least one lateral edge of the gate leaf that runs parallel to the pre-defined track and/or in the region of a lateral edge of the opening that is to be closed by the gate leaf and that extends approximately parallel to the pre-defined track.
