  1.     the lateral limiter (110, 210) includes a number of vertically disposed hollow cylinders (114, 116) which are moveable with little friction by vials acting on it.
  2. A freeze-drying unit with a number of vertically displaceable trays (104, 204), wherein a right and/or a left lateral limiter (112, 212) is attached to at least one tray (104, 204),

    the lateral limiter (112, 212) includes a number of vertically disposed hollow cylinders (114, 116), which are moveable with little friction by vials acting on it.
  3. The freeze-drying unit according to claim 2,
