Aus dem Stand der Technik sind diverse Schraubverschlüsse mit den erwähnten Garantiebändern bekannt. Diese Garantiebänder werden beim Aufschrauben auf das Behältnis über einem Ring, der an der Mündung des Behältnisses vorgesehen ist, geschoben. Öffnet man den Verschluss, so kommt es zwangsläufig zu einem Riss des Garantiebandes so dass leicht festgestellt werden kann, dass das Behältnis bereits einmal geöffnet wurde. Dabei wird hier der Verschließvorgang in zwei Abschnitte aufgeteilt.
