Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren sowie ein Steuergerät zur Temperaturregulierung in einem Kraftfahrzeugscheinwerfer (1), welcher in seinem Scheinwerfer-Innenraum (3) eine Anzahl von LED-Lichtquellen (2) zur Erzeugung von einer oder mehreren Lichtfunktionen aufweist. Erfindungsgemäß wird im Betrieb des Scheinwerfers laufend die aktuell dem Scheinwerfer-Innenraum (3) zugeführte Leistungszufuhr ermittelt wird, weiters laufend die aktuell mögliche Leistungsabgabe aus dem Scheinwerfer-Innenraum (3) ermittelt wird, aus der ermittelten zugeführten Leistungszufuhr und der möglichen Leistungsabgabe eine Leistungsbilanz gebildet wird, und an Hand der Leistungsbilanz eine Entscheidung getroffen wird, ob und welche Wärmeregulierungsmaßnahmen für den Scheinwerfer-Innenraum (3) durchzuführen sind.
