Das Klingengehäuse 02 lässt an seiner Vorderfläche ein Klingenfenster 06 offen, in welchem die Schneidkanten 05 der Klingen freiliegen, um während der Rasur in Hautkontakt gebracht zu werden. Die Lage der Schneidkanten 05 definiert eine Hautberührungsebene, welche bei unterschiedlichem Klingenüberstand auch als leicht gekrümmte Fläche geformt sein kann. Das Klingenfenster 06 wird an den kurzen Seiten durch Seitenwände 07 des Klingengehäuses begrenzt. Das Klingengehäuse ist vorzugsweise aus einem Hartkunststoff gefertigt.The
Neben den Klingen 04 sind am Klingengehäuse 02 auch eine Schaumkante 09 sowie ein Gleitstreifen 10 angeordnet. Die zum Vorspannen der zu rasierenden Haut dienende Schaumkante 09 besteht aus einem elastomeren Kunststoff und wird vorzugsweise mittels Zweikomponenten-Spritzgießverfahren gemeinsam mit dem Klingengehäuse 02 gespritzt. Denkbar wäre natürlich auch, ein separates Bauteil für die Schaumkante 09 zu verwenden. Der Gleitstreifen 10 kommt während der Rasur nach den Schneidkanten 05 der Klingen 04 mit der Haut in Kontakt. Im Gleitstreifen 10 sind die Haut pflegende Substanzen enthalten. Üblicherweise besteht der Gleitstreifen 10 aus einer wasserlöslichen und einer wasserunlöslichen Komponente. Mittels der sich während der Nutzungsdauer der Rasierklingeneinheit auswaschenden wasserlöslichen Komponente kann eine Abnutzungsanzeige realisiert werden, die den Nutzer über das Erreichen des Nutzungsendes informiert. Das Klingengehäuse 02 ist rückwärtig mit einem Deckel 14 vorzugsweise über eine Rastverbindung verschlossen. Der Deckel 14 ist mit Vertiefungen 17 versehen, die sich an den seitlichen Randbereichen bzw. an einem mittleren Steg 18 befinden. Jede dieser Vertiefungen 17 ist vorzugsweise V-förmig und dient bei der fertig montierten Rasierklingeneinheit zur Lagerung jeweils einer Klingenrückseite, die der Schneidkante 05 der Klinge gegenüberliegt.The
Die Rasierklingeneinheit 01 besitzt weiterhin eine Kupplungsabschnitt 20, welcher vorzugsweise aus demselben Hartkunststoff wie das Klingengehäuse 02 hergestellt ist. Der Kupplungsabschnitt 20 dient der vorzugsweise lösbaren Befestigung der Rasierklingeneinheit an einem Handgriff, dessen Einzelheiten weiter unten beschrieben werden. Die Verbindung zwischen dem Kupplungsabschnitt 20 und dem Klingengehäuse 02 ist über einen Verbindungsabschnitt realisiert, der im dargestellten Bespiel zwei Filmscharniere 21 umfasst, welche an den beiden Seitenwänden 07 des Klingengehäuses 02 ansetzen. Um eine Kraftübertragung vom Kupplungsabschnitt 20 zum Klingengehäuse 02 zu ermöglichen und die Verschwenkbarkeit zu dämpfen, ist das Filmscharnier 21 von einer Dämpfungskomponente 23 umspritzt. Die Dämpfungskomponente 23 füllt den zwischen den Scharnierschenkeln 22 verbleibenden Hohlraum aus und umgreift die Scharnierschenkel 22 vorzugsweise von allen Seiten. Die Dämpfungskomponente 23 besteht aus einem elastomeren Kunststoff, welcher vorzugsweise mit der Weichkomponente der Schaumkante 09 übereinstimmt und gleichzeitig mit dieser im Zweikomponenten-Spritzgießverfahren hergestellt werden kann. Claims (8)
- A razor blade unit (01), comprising- a blade housing (02) in which a plurality of blades (04) having cutting edges (05) lying parallel to a skin contact plane is arranged;- a coupling section (20) which is preferably detachably attachable to a handle (31);- a connecting section having at least one film hinge (21) between blade housing (02) and coupling section (20), which film hinge defines a pivot axis extending parallel to the skin contact plane, and having an elastic damping component (23) which surrounds one or more sides of the film hinge (21) and is integrally formed both on the blade housing (02) and the coupling section (20); and- a foam edge (09) which, with respect to the shaving direction, is arranged in front of the cutting edges (05) of the blades (04) for pretensioning the skin during shaving;characterized in that the pivot axis extending through the film hinge (21) is positioned between the foremost boundary of the foam edge (09) with respect to the shaving direction and the cutting edge (05) lying closest to the foam edge (09), and that on each side of the blade housing's side walls (07) extending transversely to the cutting edges (05) one film hinge (21) is arranged, wherein from each of the hinges, two hinge sidepieces (22) extend which are surrounded by the damping component (23).
- The razor blade unit according to claim 1, characterized in that the hinge sidepieces (22) of the film hinge (21) are made of a plastic and are integrally formed with the adjacent sections of the blade housing or, respectively, the coupling section, and that the damping component (23) is made of an elastomeric soft plastic which surrounds the hinge sidepieces (22) on all sides.
- The razor blade unit according to claim 2, characterized in that the foam edge (09) is made of the same soft plastic as the damping component (23) and is injection molded on the hard plastic of the blade housing (02) in a common manufacturing step with the damping component.
- The razor blade unit according to any one of the claims 1 to 3, characterized in that a pivot-limiting sidepiece (27) is attached to the blade housing (02) or, respectively, the coupling section (20), which pivot-limiting sidepiece abuts against an opposing limit stop (28) on the coupling section or, respectively, blade housing when a maximum pivot angle is reached.
- The razor blade unit according to any one of the claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the blade housing (02) is pivotable with respect to the longitudinal axis of the handle (31) through an angle of between 0° and 45°.
- The razor blade unit according to any one of the claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the coupling section (20) comprises a sleeve (25) which is detachably attachable onto an adaptor section (30) of the handle (31).
- The razor blade unit according to any one of the claims 1 to 6, characterized in that five blades (04) are placed in the blade housing (02).
- The razor blade unit according to any one of the claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the razor blade unit has a slide strip (10) which, with respect to the shaving direction, is arranged after the cutting edges (05) of the blades (04).
