Abhängig von der Größe der zu verpackenden Produkte muss auch die Größe des Produktaufnahmeabschnitts verändert werden. Somit müssen abhängig von der Größe des zu verpackenden Produkts unterschiedliche Arbeitswerkzeuge verwendet werden. Dabei sollen diese Arbeitswerkzeuge möglichst einfach und ohne ein Beschädigen der Folie ausgewechselt werden können.Packaging machines for packaging products generally have several processing stations.
