Definitions
- the present invention relates to a method of mounting and dismounting in safety of a rolling scaffold, the safety mounting rails used and the scaffolding obtained.
- the document FR2885927 discloses sleepers for scaffolding structure, the sleepers including hooks for cooperating with upper level rails of the scaffold.
- each of the rails may be provided with a ramp allowing the sliding of the rail on the catch level or be of an oblong profile allowing the travel of the catch level in the hook in to allow the passage of the end hook of the bar at the level of engagement of the other ladder element.
- the scaffolding erection operator is no longer on the upper platform of the ladder elements, being erected, without a lateral protective barrier element at an appropriate height and that it is thus in a standard safety arrangement thanks to the lower and upper rails for perform the assembly of the scaffolding.
- the process is, moreover, simple, fast and economical.
- the diagonal rods (at least one out of two) can be mounted after the two ladder elements are erected.
- the invention also relates to the dismantling of the scaffolding, which is performed in the opposite manner to the aforementioned mounting method.
- the invention also relates to smooth (smooth and under-smooth) used in the method of mounting a aforementioned rolling scaffold and the scaffold obtained comprising at least one or two smooth as defined above.
- Each of these rails may comprise, at each of its ends, a hook and an articulated latch intended to engage in engagement with a scale element rung.
- the lock may be self-engaging, triggered and reset by the operating hook of the boom or diagonal operating rod.
- the front hook may be a hook with slip ramp or oblong profile capable of allowing said travel on the setting step.
- the exemplary embodiment shown shows a rolling scaffolding 1 in progress.
- This scaffolding 1 comprises vertically standing ladder elements 3, between which scaffold plates 5 are fixed horizontally ( Fig. 5 ), generally arranged at a regular height relative to each other.
- the mounting of the scaffolding 1 is performed in an identical manner level by level, the first level being achieved naturally from the ground.
- the assembly is to be performed at a level n + 1, the level n being made and comprising two vertically fixed scale elements 3 connected transversely by lateral diagonal rods 7 (arranged diagonally), one on each side and a plate scaffolding 5 fixed horizontally on the scale elements 3, substantially in their middle part.
- the scaffold plates 5 are of the oblong hook type 9 at one of their end portion (see French patent application published under No. 2,854,915 ) allowing the assembly by a single person raising the plate 5 and the hooker at appropriate height by its oblong hooks 9, at first, at a level 11 of a ladder element 3, then raising the plate 5 by its other end for the crocheting by deflection oblong hooks 9 on its lockable hooks 13 of the opposite end portion, horizontally, on a rung 11 of the other ladder element 3.
- the first stage of assembly at level n + 1 is to draw up two scale elements 3 ( Fig. 1 ), one on each lower corresponding ladder element (by fitting) and to equip side protectors 15, upper and lower, which are identical to each other.
- These rails 15 are crooked horizontally on the scale elements 3 ( Fig. 3 ). They each comprise a front hook 17 positioned first ( Fig. 2 ) on a rung 11 of the ladder element, at a suitable height by inclining the rung 15 at its end to the rung, and a rear hook 19 engaged secondly on the corresponding rung 11 of the other scale element ( Fig. 3 ), the beam being raised horizontally by a pole 21 or a rod diagonal with maneuvering fork.
- These hooks 17, 19 are each provided with a latch 17a, 19a respectively hinged to the hook (self-triggering for example by gravity or return spring) and adapted to come into engagement with the closure on the step 11 to prevent slippage side of the smooth on the latter.
- the two ladder elements 3 are then connected to the rails in horizontal position. It is now necessary to fix the two diagonal rods 7 by their ends to the structure of the scaffolding 1, crossing them diagonally on each side of the ladder elements 3. The ladder elements 3 are then held vertically and the rigidity of the assembly is consolidated by the upper link of the rails 15. It should be noted that the mounting of the diagonal rods can also be performed previously just after the assembly of the scale elements as mentioned above.
- a new scaffolding platform 5 ( Fig. 4 ) presenting its front part provided with elongated hooks 9 at a level 11 of one of the ladder elements 3, at a suitable distance relative to the upper and lower rails (one meter of the upper rails, for example according to the standard) and by hooking these hooks 9 on the selected step 11 by their lower opening 9a. It only remains to raise the other end of the plate 5 on a corresponding step 11 of the other ladder element 3 and, by translating the plate 5 made possible on said oblong hooks 9, to pass the end of the plate 5 above said step 11 and to engage its end hooks 13 in lock on step 11 by simple vertical application.
- the plate 5 is now fixed horizontally on the ladder elements 3 at a distance of one meter from the upper rails and half a meter from the lower rails, parallel to these ( Fig. 5 ).
- the scaffolding mounting operator can then access the scaffolding platform 5 by climbing the ladder element 3 close to the hatch 5a of the scaffolding plate 5a, and access the plate 5 by opening the hatch 5a.
- the level n + 1 of the scaffolding is now mounted ( Fig. 6 ).
- the dismantling of the scaffolding is done in a manner opposite to the assembly.
- the front hook 17 'of the rail 15' may have an oblong profile with a lower opening 17'a passage of the rung and a hinged latch 17'b of the echelon 11 (in broken line), allowing the movement of the beam 15 'on the engagement step 11 for the passage of its end hook opposite the engagement level of the other ladder element for attachment to the latter.
- two smooth 15 "of the same level can be connected to one another at their ends by two spacer rods 23 forming a flat frame assembly for mounting the two rails simultaneously by a maneuver similar to that of a single rail by means of a suitable diagonal rod or pole.
- the ramps of the front hooks can be kept.
- a single lock is useful on one of the rear hooks.
- a diagonal rod can be used to mount the rails to the ladder elements.
- This diagonal rod may for example be of the type described by the patent FR 2,799,783 and whose clip is cut to include only one jaw, sparing thus an axis which can be used for the suspension of the rails for their mounting on the ladder elements, by corresponding holes on the hooks and locks of the rails.
- the invention thus provides a simple, easy and economical method of protecting the assembly and disassembly of a rolling scaffold.

Description
The present invention relates to a method of mounting and dismounting in safety of a rolling scaffold, the safety mounting rails used and the scaffolding obtained.
It is known that on simple-type rolling scaffolds, the successive assembly of skirting boards and healds over a tray, at a height level of the scaffolding, can be carried out without lateral protection element from said tray, mounting operator may fall from the height of the board. Such an assembly is therefore dangerous.

- erect two ladder elements on the floor or on each of the two ladder elements attached to the same floor,
- horizontally and at an adequate height on said two ladder elements of the upper and lower lateral rails (smooth and under-smooth), using a pole or a diagonal rod provided a suitable operating hook, the rails having at each of their ends at least one hook and a lock adapted to engage on a scale step, one of the end hooks being able to slide on the step-on-step assembly so that the rail positioned by its hook on the setting step is slidable on the rung to allow backing of the rung and the engagement of the other end hook on a rung step the other scale element,
- locking said hooks each on its catch level, using said lock, and
- fixing the diagonal rods of the two ladder elements that have just been erected, solidarily with them, to hold the ladder elements rigidly in position,
- mounting a scaffolding plate from the ground or the lower plate fixed at a given height and under the rails to the ladder elements that have just been erected, raising its end portion provided with oblong fastening hooks, by engaging its end oblong hooks on one rung of a ladder element and raising the other end portion of the turntable to engage its hooks on one rung of the other rung element, by means of travel longitudinally oblong hooks, and thus to arrange the plateau, in a stable horizontal position,
- access to the tray that has just been mounted by a hatch of the tray at one of its end portions, and
- mounting from the tray accessed the skirting board, the operator being protected laterally and the length of the tray by said smooth mounted.
The front hook of each of the rails (all identical) may be provided with a ramp allowing the sliding of the rail on the catch level or be of an oblong profile allowing the travel of the catch level in the hook in to allow the passage of the end hook of the bar at the level of engagement of the other ladder element.
As a result of this provision, the scaffolding erection operator is no longer on the upper platform of the ladder elements, being erected, without a lateral protective barrier element at an appropriate height and that it is thus in a standard safety arrangement thanks to the lower and upper rails for perform the assembly of the scaffolding. The process is, moreover, simple, fast and economical.
Naturally, the diagonal rods (at least one out of two) can be mounted after the two ladder elements are erected.
The invention also relates to the dismantling of the scaffolding, which is performed in the opposite manner to the aforementioned mounting method.
The invention also relates to smooth (smooth and under-smooth) used in the method of mounting a aforementioned rolling scaffold and the scaffold obtained comprising at least one or two smooth as defined above.
Each of these rails (identical to each other) may comprise, at each of its ends, a hook and an articulated latch intended to engage in engagement with a scale element rung. The lock may be self-engaging, triggered and reset by the operating hook of the boom or diagonal operating rod.
The front hook may be a hook with slip ramp or oblong profile capable of allowing said travel on the setting step.

Suppose that the assembly is to be performed at a level n + 1, the level n being made and comprising two vertically fixed
The upper and
The scaffolding mounting operator can then access the
It can now mount the
In addition, the dismantling of the scaffolding is done in a manner opposite to the assembly.
The invention thus provides a simple, easy and economical method of protecting the assembly and disassembly of a rolling scaffold.
