Description
- a cartridge comprising a tubular container and an outlet nozzle projecting from an end wall of the container,
- a displaceable relative to the end wall container bottom for pressing the mass and
- an application nozzle.
Such Auspressvorrichtungen also serve as a packaging container for receiving sealants, grout, adhesive u. Like. Contain as a container bottom a cooperating with the container piston which can be advanced by means of a Auspresswerkzeugs to squeeze the mass from the outlet. In the packaging container, the mass is hermetically sealed against the environment. To open a part of the outlet is removed with a cutting tool, so that an opening in the outlet is exposed. On the outlet nozzle then the application nozzle is attached, from which the mass can be pushed out by advancing the piston to go directly to the place of use, for example, in a joint to be sealed or in the interior of a corner profile.
In
The invention is based on the object, a squeezing device for flowable materials, such as sealants, adhesives u. Like. To provide that allows a controlled application, without making special demands on the cartridge shape.
The extrusion device according to the invention is defined by the patent claim 1. It is characterized in that the application nozzle has a hood which can be moved relative to the nozzle body and has a closure opening which forms the closure device together with the nozzle body.
The application nozzle has an elongated nozzle body whose axial length is at least twice the widest diameter of the nozzle body. The nozzle is therefore slim and it forms a tool to penetrate gaps and cavities and to produce a sealing or adhesive seam with high precision without visual obstruction.
The closure device is an adjustable metering with variable passage cross-section. Here, not only the opening and closing of the application nozzle at the outlet end is possible, but also a targeted metering of the thickness of the extruded mass strand.
In the case of a packaging cartridge, the container bottom is displaceable as a piston in a fixed container body. Alternatively, the container may consist of a flexible film tube which is closed by a container bottom.
The closure may have a fixed pin and a hood movable relative thereto. Conveniently, the closure opening is provided with an inner cone and the pin with a flat mating outer cone, which can be moved axially relative to each other. Between the inner cone and the outer cone so an annular gap is formed, whose width is variable by adjusting the hood. This conical annular gap can be reduced to the sealing closure.
According to a further preferred embodiment, the closure device is provided with a frusto-conical plug, which is held by arms on the nozzle body and with a formed as an inner cone closure opening of the hood fits together flat.
A product outlet, where the product is released directly from the closure opening to the outside, is not particularly suitable for shaping Product strands of a viscous material. The expressed product would be squeezed and smeared at such outlet. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, it is provided that an outlet channel is arranged following the closure opening. On the one hand, this outlet channel facilitates the shaping of a mass strand by forming a channel-shaped hollow space and subsequently having at least one coating edge. On the other hand, the outlet channel has the effect that a part of the mass remains in the outlet channel after closing the closure device, where it hardens and in addition sealingly seals the outlet channel. Therefore, the outlet channel or the entire application nozzle should be made of a material to which the plastic mass does not adhere firmly. A typical plastic mass suitable for extrusion through a squeezing device is silicone material. The application nozzle should be made of a polyolefin, a material that does not bond tightly to a silicone compound. A Massepfropfen, which has formed in the outlet channel can be pushed out of the outlet channel at the next Auspressvorgang.
Preferably, the outlet channel has at least one straight side wall. It can be rectangular and have side walls of different widths. The end edge of the side wall of the outlet channel forms a spatula or a doctor blade for smoothing out the expressed mass strand. With a rectangular channel is achieved that two such coating edges are provided of different lengths, so that the user can select the required sidewall.
It is possible to attach the application nozzle as an additional part of the cartridge, wherein the application nozzle is removed before use and then screwed onto the outlet of the cartridge. Another possibility is to design the application nozzle so that its nozzle body is molded onto the container. The nozzle body is then firmer Part of the container and it is only necessary to mount the hood on the nozzle body.

The tear-
To the
In the
Hierbei dreht sich der Ring 31 in der entsprechenden Nut des Auslassstutzens 14.After tearing off the tear-off 17 with the
To the

On the outer wall of the
