- Such a security device is from the DE 10 2005 009 946 B3 basically known and comprises two stop elements in the form of karabiners, which are each releasably attachable to a stationary securing element in the form of a supporting cable and which are each connected via a connecting element with the person to be secured.
- each stop element has a locking device in the form of an opening mechanism which is adjustable between an unlocking in which the respective stop element on the respective fuse element attachable or detachable, and a locking state in which the respective securing element attached to the stop element not from the respective fuse element non-destructively solvable.
- the known safety device comprises a coupling device in the form of an electronic Circuit, which is coupled to the locking devices of the two stop elements, in such a way that it locks in the unlocked state of the locking device of a stop element, the locking device of the other stop element in its locked state by means of an electromagnetic actuator.
- the risk of falling for the persons secured with it can be significantly reduced.
- the coupling device in the known safety device prevents both stop elements are accidentally removed simultaneously from the respective fuse element, whereby the person would be temporarily unsecured.
- the present invention is concerned with the problem of providing a safety device of the type mentioned above or for the stop elements used therewith an improved embodiment, which is characterized in particular by a low-cost feasibility with relatively high reliability.
- the invention is based on the general idea to realize the coupling device purely mechanically and equip at least for one of the locking devices with a locking lever which cooperates with the respective locking device so that it blocks the respective locking device in its locking state in a blocking position.
- a locking lever pivot axis pivotable locking lever is comparatively inexpensive and robust feasible, whereby a relatively high reliability can be achieved.
- the associated locking device have a bolt which between a the locking state of the locking device associated locking position and a release state of the locking device associated unlocking position is pivotable.
- the respective locking device have a safety lever which is pivotable between a locking position blocking the latch in its locking position and a pivoting of the bolt between its locking position and its unlocking enabling position. The risk of accidental Entriegelns the bolt is thereby reduced, since this first the locking lever must be pressed. Accidental simultaneous actuation of both the safety lever and the bolt can be almost eliminated. Such a double fuse increases the securing effect of the securing device.
- the locking lever according to the invention can now cooperate in its blocking position either with the displaced in its locking position bolt or with the adjusted in its securing position locking lever.
- the respective locking lever in its blocking position block both the bolt in its locking position and the locking lever in its securing position.
- the coupling device may comprise a force transmission element via which the two locking devices associated locking lever are coupled together in such a way that a pivoting operation of a locking lever pivots the other locking lever in its locked position.
- suitable power transmission elements are in particular Bowden cables, in each of which the pull cable or the soul is connected to the two locking levers, while the associated pressure shell is supported in the region of the respective locking device.
- other power transmission elements are conceivable, which operate mechanically, hydraulically or pneumatically.
- Fig. 1 comprises a securing device 1 according to the invention, which serves to protect a person not shown from falling, two stop elements 2.

- the connecting elements 4 and the connecting member 6 are or is attached to the fall damper 7, which in turn can be attached by means of a loop 8 to the respective persons or by means of carabiners on the seat belt.
- Each stop element 2 has a locking device 9.
- the respective locking device 9 is adjustable between an unlocking state and a locking state. In the unlocking state, the respective stop element 2 can be attached or detached from the respective securing element 3. In contrast, the respective stop element 2 in the locked state is no longer nondestructive of the respective fuse element 3, to which it is attached, detachable.
- the safety device 1 presented here also comprises a coupling device 10. This is coupled to the locking devices 9 of the two stop elements 2. This coupling takes place in such a way that the coupling device 10 in the unlocking state of the locking device 9 of the one stop element 2 blocks the locking device 9 of the other stop element 2 in its locking state. This means that when unlocking the one locking device 9 via the coupling device 10 inevitably the other locking device 9 is blocked in its locked state and then can not be unlocked.
- the coupling device 10 operates purely mechanically, in particular hydraulically or pneumatically.
- stop elements 2 shown are designed as rollers, each having two rollers 11 arranged one behind the other, with which the respective stop element 2 can roll on the securing element 3 formed as a rope.
- the respective stop element 2 also designed as a roller, which, however, is equipped only with a single roller 11.
- the respective stop element 2 is designed as a snap hook.
- Fig. 2 to 14 refers to the in Fig. 1
- the structure of a single stop element 2 is explained in more detail. It is clear that in principle both stop elements 2 of the safety device can be configured identical, but need not.
- the respective stop element 2 has a housing 12, which is essentially made of sheet metal parts. Visible are two side walls 13, between which a cover 14 is arranged.
- the roller 11 is rotatably mounted, in particular by means of a ball bearing.
- this upper area there is also a receptacle 15 for receiving the respective securing element 3.
- the receptacle 15 is equipped with an insertion opening 16.
- the housing 12 is configured by the receptacle 15 and the insertion opening 16 like a hook.
- the receptacle 15 then forms a support, so that the respective stop element 2 a total again a hook, in particular a snap hook forms.
- the connecting element 4 is fixed.
- the connecting element 4 consists of two separate straps 17, which are fastened independently of one another on each of the side cheeks 13. Below the housing 12, the two straps 17 are sewn together, whereby they form a tube 18.
- the coupling device 10 comprises a force transmission element 19, which leads from the locking device 9 of the one stop element 2 to the locking device 9 of the other stop element 2.
- This power transmission element 19 is laid here within the tube 18, whereby it is sufficiently protected against damage during normal use of the safety device 1.
- the force transmission element 19 is preferably a Bowden cable, which consists in the usual way of a pressure-stable sleeve 20 and a guided therein tensile stable cable 21, which may also be referred to as the soul 21.
- Fig. 6 to 9 and in particular according to the 10 to 14 comprises the coupling device 10 for the locking device 9 of the respective stop element 2, a locking lever 22.
- This locking lever 22 is a locking lever pivot axis 23 which in the 10 to 14 is perpendicular to the plane of the drawing, pivotally mounted on the housing 12.
- the locking lever 22 is pivotable into a locking position, in which it blocks the respective locking device 9 in its locked state.
- the cable 21 is fixed to the respective locking lever 22.
- the sleeve 20 is supported on the housing 12.
- the locking device 9 here has a latch 24 which is pivotable about a latch pivot axis 25 which in the 10 to 14 perpendicular to the plane of the drawing.
- the latch 24 is pivotable between a latching state of the locking device 9 associated locking position and a release state of the locking device 9 associated unlocking position.
- Fig. 6 10 and 11 is the latch 24 in its locked position while in Fig. 12 is in its unlocked position.
- the locking device 9 here comprises a safety lever 26 which is pivotable about a safety lever pivot axis 27, which in the representations of 10 to 14 perpendicular to the plane of the drawing.
- the safety lever 26 is between a securing position, in which he blocked the latch 24 in its locking position, and a Entommeswolf or release position pivotally, in which it allows pivoting of the bolt 24 between the locking position and its unlocked position.
- a control bolt 39 is here exemplarily on the latch 24 is formed, which cooperates with a safety lever 26 formed on the control cam 40.
- the locking lever 22 now interacts with the securing lever 26. This means that the locking lever 22 blocks the locking lever 26 in its locking position in its locking position. As is locked in the locking position of the safety lever 26 by the locking lever 26 of the latch 24 in its locking position, the associated locking device 9 is in its locked state and can not be removed from the fuse element 3.
- the power transmission element 19 couples the two locking levers 22 of the two locking devices 9 together so that a pivoting operation of a locking lever 22 pivots the other locking lever 22 in its locking position.
- the securing lever 26 is provided for actuating the blocking lever 22. Accordingly, here the locking lever 26 cooperates in a suitable manner with the associated locking lever 22. A pivoting of the safety lever 26 in its armed position thus leads to a pivoting operation of the locking lever 22 which pivots the coupled via the power transmission element 19 other locking lever 22 in its locked position.
- a driving coupling between the latch 24 and the locking lever 22 may be provided.
- the variant proposed here in which already the actuation of the safety lever 26, the locking lever 22 is actuated.
- Fig. 13 and 14 illustrate the different pivoting operations of the locking lever 22.
- the respective locking lever 22 assumes its rest position when both locking device 9 each have their locking state.
- the safety lever 26 is pivoted into its release position.
- the safety lever 26 has a control pin 29, which cooperates with a locking lever 22 formed on the control cam 30.
- the control link 30 and the control pin 29 are coordinated so that the locking lever 22 is pivoted by the pivoting of the safety lever 26 in its release position so that it introduces a tensile force in the power transmission element 19.
- the pivoting movement is counterclockwise in a direction of rotation 31, which is indicated by an arrow.
- This rotational movement of the locking lever 22 may be supported by a compression spring 32.
- the introduced by means of the pivot-operated locking lever 22 in the power transmission element 19 tensile force is indicated here by an arrow oriented upward and designated 33.
- Fig. 14 shows virtually the other end of the power transmission element 19, which transmits the pulling force 33 to the locking lever 22 of the other locking device 9. Accordingly, this tensile force is 33 in Fig. 14 oriented downwards. As a result, the locking lever 22 pivots in the opposite direction of rotation, which is symbolized here by an arrow and is designated 34. This other direction of rotation 34 is oriented here in a clockwise direction. If the securing lever 26 assumes its securing position, the control bolt 29 and the control contour 30 also act together here. The control contour 30 is in this case moved in the adjustment of the control pin 29, whereby this on the control contour 30 as on abuts a stop.
- the respective locking device 9 also includes a trigger lever 35 which is mounted pivotally adjustable about a trigger lever pivot axis 36 on the housing 12, in the Fig. 6 and 10 to 12 is perpendicular to the drawing plane.
- Said release lever 35 is pivotable between an active position and a passive position. In the active position, the in Fig. 12 is reproduced, the release lever 35 blocks the latch 24 in its unlocked position.
- a control bolt 37 formed on the latch 24 cooperates with a control cam 38 formed on the release lever 35.
- the latch 24 on the above-mentioned further control pin 39, which cooperates with the locking lever 26 formed on the other control link 40.
- control pin 39 Blocks the safety lever 26 in its unlocked position in its unlocked position.
- the pivoted to its active position release lever 35 blocked directly the latch 24 in its unlocked position and indirectly via the unlocked latch 24, the safety lever 26 in its armed position. This condition is in Fig. 12 played.
- the release lever 35 is positioned in its active position 35 so that it is inevitably transferred by the attachment of the respective stop element 2 on the respective fuse element 3 in its passive position.
- the trigger lever 35 protrudes in accordance Fig. 12 in its active position far into the insertion opening 16 that the fuse element 3 when inserting the trigger lever 35 is forcibly actuated and thus pivots out of its active position to reach the receptacle 15 can.
- the securing element 3 must therefore displace the release lever 35 in order to be able to pass through the insertion opening 16 for receiving 15.
- This construction has the consequence that with the attachment of the stop element 2 on the fuse element 3 inevitably the latch 24 is transferred to its locking position, while at the same time the locking lever 26 is transferred to its securing position. As a result, an effective personal safety can be ensured immediately after the attachment of the stop element 2 on the fuse element 3.
- the release lever 35 is biased by means of a compression spring drive 41 in its respective end position, ie either in the active position or in the passive position.
- Said compression spring drive 41 has an over-center position both for the active position and for the passive position.
- the compression spring drive 41 is supported on the one hand at a designated bearing point on the locking lever 26.
- the compression spring drive 41 is supported at a designated bearing point 43 on the release lever 35.
- the compression spring drive 41 could also have its bearing point 42 on the housing 12 instead of the safety lever 26.
- the latch 24 is designed as a directly manually operable latch 24 which can be actuated, for example by means of index and middle finger.
- the locking lever 26 configured here as a directly manually operable locking lever 26 which is operable, for example, with a thumb.
- Safety lever 26 and latch 24 are arranged here on opposite sides of the respective stop element 2, whereby a one-hand operation is possible.
- Fig. 10 If the locking state of the locking device 9 is present.
- the latch 24 has its locking position. Recognizable closes while the latch 24 in its locking position, the insertion opening 16, so that it is not possible to remove the stop element 2 non-destructive of the fuse element 3.
- the safety lever 26 assumes its securing position.
- the trigger lever 35 is in its passive position.
- Of the Lock lever 22 is in its rest position.
- the securing element 3 is located in the receptacle 15. In particular, the roller 11 rests on the securing element 3.
- the safety lever 26 For unlocking the user operates according to Fig. 11 First, the safety lever 26 to pivot this in the armed position. Inevitably, the locking lever 22 is actuated, whereby this pivots in the locked position. Then the user operates according to Fig. 12 the latch 24 and pivots this in the unlocked position. In this pivoting operation, the release lever 35 is necessarily adjusted with, since the latch 24 is provided here for driving the release lever 35.
- the trigger lever 35 in this case pivots through the receptacle 15 so that it drives the securing element 3 arranged therein out of the receptacle 15. As a result, the release lever 35 supports the removal of the stop element 2 from the securing element 3.
- the trigger lever 35 which automatically snaps after overcoming the dead center position in its passive position.
- the latch 24 is necessarily driven in its locking position.
- this also the locking lever 26 is released again, causing it to pivot in the securing position.
- the safety lever 26 may be spring loaded.
- the safety lever 26 is driven by the compression spring drive 41.

By this construction of the safety device, the risk of falling for the persons secured with it can be significantly reduced. When changing from one securing element to another securing element, it is necessary to hang the two stop elements one after the other. The coupling device in the known safety device prevents both stop elements are accidentally removed simultaneously from the respective fuse element, whereby the person would be temporarily unsecured.

The present invention is concerned with the problem of providing a safety device of the type mentioned above or for the stop elements used therewith an improved embodiment, which is characterized in particular by a low-cost feasibility with relatively high reliability.
According to the invention, this problem is solved by the subject matters of the independent claims. Advantageous embodiments are the subject of the dependent claims.
The invention is based on the general idea to realize the coupling device purely mechanically and equip at least for one of the locking devices with a locking lever which cooperates with the respective locking device so that it blocks the respective locking device in its locking state in a blocking position. Such, about a locking lever pivot axis pivotable locking lever is comparatively inexpensive and robust feasible, whereby a relatively high reliability can be achieved.
According to an advantageous embodiment, at least in one of the stop elements, the associated locking device have a bolt which between a the locking state of the locking device associated locking position and a release state of the locking device associated unlocking position is pivotable. Additionally or alternatively, at least in one of the stop elements, the respective locking device have a safety lever which is pivotable between a locking position blocking the latch in its locking position and a pivoting of the bolt between its locking position and its unlocking enabling position. The risk of accidental Entriegelns the bolt is thereby reduced, since this first the locking lever must be pressed. Accidental simultaneous actuation of both the safety lever and the bolt can be almost eliminated. Such a double fuse increases the securing effect of the securing device.
The locking lever according to the invention can now cooperate in its blocking position either with the displaced in its locking position bolt or with the adjusted in its securing position locking lever. Likewise, the respective locking lever in its blocking position block both the bolt in its locking position and the locking lever in its securing position. Preference is given to the embodiment in which the locking lever blocked in its blocking position the associated locking lever in its securing position. This takes into account that the safety lever only comparatively small Forces are required to block this in its closed position. When blocked in the closed position safety lever and the bolt is inevitably blocked in its locking position.
According to its development, the coupling device may comprise a force transmission element via which the two locking devices associated locking lever are coupled together in such a way that a pivoting operation of a locking lever pivots the other locking lever in its locked position. For this purpose, suitable power transmission elements are in particular Bowden cables, in each of which the pull cable or the soul is connected to the two locking levers, while the associated pressure shell is supported in the region of the respective locking device. In principle, however, other power transmission elements are conceivable, which operate mechanically, hydraulically or pneumatically.
In a further development can now be provided that cooperates within the respective locking device, the bolt and / or the locking lever with the locking lever to its operation. A pivoting of the safety lever or the bolt thus leads to a pivoting operation of the respective locking lever. In this case, the actuation of the locking lever by the safety lever may be advantageous, since so the other locking lever is already pivoted into its locked position when the actuated safety lever associated latch has not yet been operated. In other words, the locking device of the other stop element is already blocked when only the safety lever of a stop element is actuated.
Other important features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims, from the drawings and from the associated figure description with reference to the drawings.
It is understood that the features mentioned above and those yet to be explained below can be used not only in the particular combination given, but also in other combinations or in isolation, without departing from the scope of the present invention.
Preferred embodiments of the invention are illustrated in the drawings and will be described in more detail in the following description, wherein like reference numerals refer to the same or similar or functionally identical components.

In a lower portion of the

In the embodiments shown here, the locking
Alternatively, it is basically also possible to arrange or configure the locking
The

*****When attaching the
