Abstract
Ein Schaltgerät (1), insbesondere ein Leistungsschaltgerät, weist zwei in Reihe geschaltete Schaltkontaktpaare (2, 3) zur Unterbrechung einer Strombahn (4) und zumindest ein im Bereich der Schaltkontaktpaare (2, 3) angeordnetes Löschpaket (5) zum Löschen der beim Öffnen der Strombahn (4) entstehenden Lichtbögen (6) auf. Die Schaltkontaktpaare (2, 3) sind derart angeordnet, dass ihre Öffnungsbahnen (7) im Wesentlichen parallel oder antiparallel zueinander verlaufen. Erfindungsgemäß sind die Schaltkontaktpaare (2, 3) derart in Reihe geschaltet, dass der in den beiden Lichtbögen (6) fließende selbe Strom (i) räumlich in die gleiche Richtung fließt. Das Löschpaket (5) ist im Bereich zwischen den Öffnungsbahnen (7) angeordnet. The extinguishing package (5) is arranged in the region between the opening tracks (7).
