Cet appareil comporte également un dispositif de commande C comportant une manette 6 de manoeuvre manuelle apte à entraîner l'arbre porte contacts 3 entre les deux positions précitées, ledit arbre 3 étant rappelé en position d'ouverture des contacts 4,5 au moyen d'un ressort (non représenté).
Il comporte également de manière connue, des moyens de déclenchement différentiels aptes à entraîner l'ouverture des contacts dans le cas de l'apparition d'un défaut à la terre. Ce dispositif comporte également un arbre de fermeture brusque 7, ledit arbre de fermeture brusque 7 étant destiné, en début de manoeuvre de fermeture manuelle de la manette 6 et sur une certaine course de celle-ci, à retenir les contacts mobiles en position ouverte des contacts 4,5 en emmagasinant de l'énergie, et à libérer lesdits contacts après cette course de la manette, ladite énergie emmagasinée entraînant la fermeture des contacts avec une vitesse importante.

Cet arbre de fermeture brusque 7 est monté rotatif dans le boîtier de l'appareil, un ressort 8 étant placé entre ledit arbre 7 et le boîtier afin de rappeler ledit arbre dans une position dans laquelle il interfère avec les contacts.

Conformément à l'invention, cet arbre de fermeture brusque 7 comporte un premier levier 13 destiné à coopérer avec un came 14 formée dans la base de la manette 6, et, pour chacun des contacts mobiles 4 et donc des supports de contacts mobiles 9, un levier dit second 15 destiné à coopérer par son extrémité libre, avec une butée 16 prévue sur ledit support de contact 9.
Le dispositif de commande comporte également un dispositif de signalisation de la soudure des contacts associé à l'arbre de fermeture brusque 7. Ce dispositif comporte une partie en forme de crochet 17 solidaire du levier dit premier 13 de l'arbre de fermeture brusque 7, ladite partie 17 étant destinée à coopérer avec la came précitée 14 de la manette. Ce dispositif comporte également des leviers dits troisièmes, autant que de supports de contact, ces leviers étant constitués dans cette forme de réalisation particulière, par les leviers dit seconds précités 15, une partie d'extrémité18 de ces seconds leviers 15 étant destinée à coopérer respectivement avec les supports de contact 9.
Le fonctionnement du dispositif de commande selon l'invention va être décrit dans ce qui suit en référence aux figures.

A cette étape de la cinématique du dispositif de commande, les contacts mobiles sont séparés de leur contact fixe réciproque. On notera que le décalage des axes des supports de contacts par rapport à l'axe de l'arbre porte-contact permet un glissement à l'accostage des contacts mobiles sur les contacts fixes.
Une autre réalisation pourrait consister à prévoir des contacts mobiles montés directement dans l'arbre porte contacts mobiles cette fois, et des ressorts de pression de contacts montés respectivement entre chaque contact mobile et l'arbre porte contacts mobiles. Dans ce cas, ces ressorts de pression de contact sont comprimés au début de la course de rotation de la manette vers la position de fermeture, lesdits ressorts assurant ensuite le mouvement rapide des contacts mobiles vers les contacts fixes, après une certaine course de la manette.

Le crochet 17 de l'arbre de fermeture brusque 7 retient la manette 6 et l'empêche d'être déplacée en position d'ouverture. Ce qui constitue une indication de l'état soudé des contacts.
On a ainsi réalisé un dispositif de signalisation crédible sans ajout de pièces supplémentaires, cette signalisation fonctionnant quelque soit le contact qui est soudé.
On a donc réalisé grâce à l'invention, un dispositif de commande dans lequel la cinématique du déverrouillage pour assurer la fermeture brusque est fiabilisée par le fait que les contacts mobiles sont libérés à une distance maîtrisée des contacts fixes et par le fait que les dispersion de fabrication des pièces qui interviennent dans le déverrouillage sont réduites.
