  5. Apparatus according to any of claims 1-4, characterised in that the collecting channel (11) can be folded back into a storage channel (13).
  6. Apparatus according to any of claims 1-5, characterised in that the conveyor belts (8) of all modules have only one motor drive (15) and in that the drive (15) is provided with a regulating means for infinitely variable alteration of the takeoff speed of the conveyor belt (8) as required.
  7. Apparatus according to any of claims 1-6, characterised in that all of the collecting channels (11) of the modules can be folded back for synchronous operation by separate motors (16) which can be connected to a common supply line under the control of a signal.
  8. Apparatus according to claim 7, characterised in that the motors (16) are formed by pneumatic cylinders.
  9. Apparatus according to any of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that each conveyor belt (8) is limited in the lateral direction by vertically upwardly projecting webs (8.1).
  10. Apparatus according to claim 9, characterised in that the webs (8.1) have a height of approximately 5 to 15 mm.
  11. Apparatus according to any of claims 1 to 10, characterised in that the conveyor belt (8) has a slightly greater speed than that of the cable transporter (4).
