Description

The invention relates to a reflector lamp in particular metal halide vapor reflector lamp comprising a rotationally symmetrical about a central axis reflector which encloses a lamp interior together with a cover, and the cover tapers to a neck region opposite, wherein on the central axis in the lamp interior a burner comprising a burner chamber and on opposite sides of the burner chamber diametrically opposed pinch seals, are guided by the respective supply lines, wherein the burner at least partially surrounding a tubular shield is provided.

Such a reflector lamp is for example already out of the DE 102 33 073 known. Also in this document, the problem of fixing the tubular shielding on the one hand and the burner on the other hand already addressed. Specifically, it is proposed in the prior art to set burner and tubular shield over the supply line facing the cover. Furthermore, there is also proposed to fix the tubular shield by cement to the reflector.

The measures proposed there for determining the tubular shielding on the one hand and the burner on the other hand, however, have proven to be relatively expensive to manufacture.

The object of the present invention is therefore to propose an alternative arrangement which solves at least the determination of tubular shield and burner against each other in a reliable and easy to implement in manufacturing manner. Advantageous developments are specified in the subclaims.

A central idea of the present invention is to connect the burner with the tubular shield, via a spring clip. In a specifically preferred embodiment, the spring clip engages directly both on the burner, in particular on one of its pinch seals, on the one hand, and on the tubular shield, preferably on one of its edges, on the other hand. The spring clip is preferably a separate component and both mechanically and electrically not connected to one of the supply lines.

Die Verwendung von Federclips ist im US-A-5043623 offenbart. The use of spring clips is in US Patent No. 5043623 disclosed.

The spring clip can continue to serve as a cooling element and significantly reduce the temperatures in the region of the distal ends of the pinch seals. Especially on the side on which the spring clip is mounted, it acts as a shield, so that the shielded by the spring clip portion of the pinch seal against the temperatures near the burner chamber is kept much cooler.

According to the invention, the spring clip holds the tubular shield against a stop in the neck region of the reflector.

In a preferred embodiment, the dimensions are such that the spring clip presses the tubular shield under bias to the stop. In this embodiment, a particularly reliable insensitive determination of the tubular shielding but also the burner within the tubular shield is achieved.

In a first preferred embodiment, the spring clip engages on a cover facing the end of the tubular shield. Just the mutual determination of tubular shield and burner in a region opposite the neck region of the lamp interior seems appropriate, since in the neck determinations of the tubular shield and the burner can make directly opposite the reflector or with it stably connected components and so there - also independent - anchoring or determination of tubular shield and burner in a relatively simple manner is possible.

In an alternative embodiment, however, it is also conceivable for the spring clip to engage at an end of the tubular-shaped shield facing away from the cover, that is to say at the end facing the neck region of the reflector.

In a specifically preferred embodiment, the spring clip may comprise latching means, in particular latching tongues, which are designed to engage in one or more recesses on the burner, in particular on the pinch seal facing the cover or on the opposite pinch seal.

According to a particularly preferred aspect of the present invention, the burner is held exclusively by the leads, which are connected to the reflector or formed in one piece with the reflector and carried in the ground, and by the tubular shield connected to the burner via the spring clip, kept aligned in particular on the central axis.

The spring clip may be formed of metal, in particular spring steel or of an alternative suitable material.

On the outside, the spring clip may comprise a plurality of fastening elements, in particular fastening straps. As illustrated below with reference to the exemplary embodiments, these fastening straps can be designed to be supported on the tubular shielding from the inside. You can also surround the edge of the tubular shield completely or partially or also supported from the outside against the tubular shield.

Furthermore, the spring clip may have a central basic structure, in particular a central circular base plate.

In the circular base plate of the spring clip, a central opening may be formed through which the associated pinch seal of the burner can be passed. In this respect, the spring clip encloses a portion of the burner, in particular a portion of an associated pinch seal of the burner.

On the edge side, one or more, in particular two latching tongues can be formed on the central opening for engagement in the recesses on the associated pinch seal.

The invention will be explained below with regard to further features and advantages with reference to the description of exemplary embodiments and with reference to the accompanying drawings.

In Fig. 1 a sectional view through a reflector lamp is shown. The reflector lamp initially comprises a rotationally symmetrical reflector 11, which encloses a lamp interior 15 together with a cover 14, which may be formed, for example, as a lens. At its end facing away from the cover 14, the reflector 11 tapers and forms a neck region 12. The end of the reflector 11 terminates with an integrally formed bottom 26, are guided by the leads 21, 22. The leads 21, 22 are outside the reflector 11 in contact pins 32, 33 taken. A bottom section 26 facing the neck portion 12, the bottom 26 and the contact pins 32, 33 form a base 13 of the reflector lamp. The base 13 allows a mechanical and electrical connection of the reflector lamp with a corresponding socket.

Fig. 4, unten) an.In the lamp interior 15, a burner 16 is arranged on the central axis. The burner 16 has two pinch seals 19, 20 at the end and a burner chamber 17 between them. Around the burner 16 around a tubular shield 23 is arranged, which surrounds the burner 16 such that it protrudes from the end of the envelope 23 only on its squish seals 19, 20 of the tubular shield. The tubular shield 23 is located in the neck region 12 of the reflector 11 on stops 25 (see. Fig. 4 , below).

The tubular shield 23 may be formed of quartz or glass, for example.

By means of a spring clip 24 burner 16 and tubular shield 23 are set at its cover 14 facing the end against each other. For this purpose, the spring clip 24 on the outside several, here four concrete (see. Fig. 2 ), Fastening tabs 27, which are provided for engagement with the tubular shield 23. The fastening tabs are bent outwards at a certain angle, preferably from 5 ° to 10 °, this outward bending becoming approximately zero, that is to say the fastening tabs 27 are oriented along the central axis as soon as they rest against the tubular shielding 23 under a predetermined pretension. The fastening tabs 27 have at their distal end an approximately 90 ° bend with a length of about 1 mm, which are provided for contact with the front edge of the tubular shield 23. The fastening tabs 27 thus have a dual function, namely to align the tubular shield 23 parallel to the optical axis and to lock the tubular shield between the stops 25 and the recesses 31 in the pinch seal 20.

The tubular shield 23 may be bent slightly inwardly on the opposite side to prevent or reduce sodium loss.

The stops 25 also serve to laterally align the tubular shield 23 so that it is positioned exactly along the optical axis.

Within a circular base plate 28 of the spring clip 24, a central opening 29 is provided, through which the cover 14 facing pinch seal 20 passes. At the edge of the central opening 29 are one or more locking tongues 30, in this case two locking tongues, provided in the recesses 31 in the pinch seal 20 engage and so lock the spring clip 24 in its longitudinal position relative to the longitudinal extent of the burner 16. At the same time the design is such that the tubular shield 23 is pressed under slight bias in the stops 25 on the reflector 11 and thus fixed. Instead of recesses 31 in the pinch seal 20 and thickenings could be formed so that the locking tongues 30 pushed over the thickening and can engage behind the thickening.

In Fig. 2 is already based on Fig. 1 explained embodiment of a spring clip 24 illustrated enlarged in a perspective view. In Fig. 3 an alternative embodiment of a spring clip 24 is illustrated in a perspective view. In this embodiment, an at least substantially circular base plate 28 is also provided, wherein here fastening tabs 27 and latching tongues 30 projecting from the base plate 28 not in the same direction, but in the opposite direction.

While in the embodiment according to Fig. 2 the circular base plate 28 is dimensioned so that it can dip into the tubular shield 23 is in the embodiment according to Fig. 3 provided that the at least substantially circular base plate 28 comes to rest on the front edge of the tubular shield 23 and the mounting tabs 27 dive into the tubular shield 23. It is also possible to lock the tubular shielding on both sides of the burner chamber 17 with two spring clips 24, so that it may be possible to dispense with the fixation in the axial and lateral erection in the region of the stops 25.

The feed line 22 supplied from the cover 14 also contributes, in addition to the tubular shield 23, to fixing the burner 16 exactly on the optical axis. For this purpose, the supply line 22 is guided in a shielding tube 34, which in turn can be held on the optical axis in a cylindrical groove to increase the stability and to improve the fixation of the burner 16.

In Fig. 4 is a comparison of an embodiment of a reflector lamp constructed according to the invention (below) with a reflector lamp according to the prior art (above), wherein the reflector lamp according to the invention even despite larger overall length of the burner 16 over both bruises 19, 20 in total significantly shorter (about 8%) builds. This is because the lamp interior 15 can be formed continuously to the bottom 26 of the reflector 11 and thus the reflector 11 can directly form part of the base 13.
