- the sleeve 226a has an opening 226b (see Figures 6 to 10 ) in which opens the cleaning head 234 of the working end 232 of the cleaning pipe 230.
- this sleeve 226a is articulated pivotally about a horizontal axis by means of a leg 228, this sleeve 226a moving between a vertical position extending the profiles 224a to 224d, visible on the figures 6 and 7 , and a deployed position visible on the figures 8 , 9 and 10 .
- the leg 228 includes a first piece pivotally connected to the arm 202, at an extension of the outer profile 224d ( figure 8 ) and a second piece pivotally connected to the free end of the sleeve 226a, these first and second parts of the leg 228 themselves being pivotally connected about an axis also horizontal.
- the sleeve 226a serves not only as a guide for positioning the cleaning head 234 in a more or less horizontal direction, but also as a support member. Indeed, as we see on the Figures 9 and 10 , the sleeve 226a can bear on the side bench 302 of the manhole 300 (case of the figure 9 ) or against the wall of the portion of the pipe or cunette 304, adjacent to the manhole 300 (case of the figure 10 ).
- the sleeve 226a facilitates the cleaning work by hydrocuring by increasing the stability of the equipment of the lower module 226, and in particular of the cleaning head 234.
- this support member is formed in the form of a tilting yoke with a slide assembly made on the extension of the profile 224d, and retaining rods mounted on the part before the stirrup, the latter coming to bear for example on the edge of the cunette 304.
- the cylinder 242 (relatively rigid) forming the working end of the suction pipe 240 is connected to the remainder of the suction pipe 240 (more flexible) by a rapid coupling type fastener 241.
- This cylinder 242 is disposed along this lower module 226, being retained by a ring 227 mounted on an extension 225 of the inner profile 224d of the lower module 226.
- the cylinder 242 is able to exit the sleeve 243: in this extended position, the cylinder 242 and generally the suction pipe 240, is retained at the support arm and guide 202 only along the horizontal portion 210, the upper module 221 and the intermediate module 224 of the vertical portion 220 (see figure 5 ), by the rolling elements 206 and the protective bell 260 inside which the suction pipe 240 which is outside the profiles 224a to 224d passes.
- the raising (lowering) operations of the suction pipe 240 by the third drive means 222 also make it possible to out (enter) the cylinder 242 of the suction pipe 240 out of (the) the (the) sleeve 243, the latter may have (variant not shown) a flared upper section.
- the sheath 243 is a cylinder of variable diameter between a maximum allowing the clearance (the inlet) of the cylinder 242 and a minimum blocking by clamping the cylinder 242 relative to the sheath 243.
- the identification of the relative vertical position between the cylinder 242 and the sheath 243 is made by sliding indexing between one (or more) pin (s) 246 and one (or more) vertical groove (s) 227a passing through the wall of the ring (see Figures 7 to 10 ).
- the extension 225 is equipped with two horizontal grooves 225a passing through its wall at a center angle of about 180 ° (which allows adjustment between + 90 ° and -90 °), and which cooperate with other projecting elements (not visible in the figures) of the ring 227.
- a tip 244 is fixed on the free end of the sleeve 243 and serves as a filter for the material sucked by the cylinder 242.
- the cleaning head 234 can be deployed beyond the lower module 226, and in particular outside the sleeve 226a because the cleaning pipe 230 is associated with a motorized reel (not shown) located on the vehicle 100.
- the mobile unit 200 also comprises a movable protection bell 260 surrounding the intermediate module 224 and which, when the lower module 226 is deployed in the manhole 300, goes down over the manhole, so as to protect the operator.
- this bell 260 comprises a portion of transparent wall in the upper part in order to be able to visualize the operations taking place in the manhole 300.
- the vertical portion 220 further comprises, in a housing (not shown) mounted inside the protection bell 260, a camera module (not shown) able to exit the aforementioned housing in order to visualize the state of the mouth 300 sewer before and / or after cleaning including washing under a high-pressure water jet transmitted by the cleaning head 234, then suction from the nozzle 244 of the suction pipe 240.
- a camera module has its own control system and its own movement system allowing it to move from the bell 260 to and / or into the manhole 300, independently of the movements of the vertical portion 220 of the arm 202 .
- the mobile unit 200 may further comprise a retractable support (not shown) on which may be placed a mobile camera forming a detachable machine of the lower module 226 able to go and examine the state of the network beyond the location of the 300 manhole.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a mobile unit for cleaning a sewer system from a viewpoint.
By mobile unit is meant both a self-propelled assembly such as a wheeled vehicle, of the truck type, or an assembly which will itself be towed, such as a trailer, a wagon or an assembly likely to be mounted on a trailer or chassis of a vehicle.
There are trucks, called combined water purifiers, to perform both the hydrocure and the aspiration of sewerage networks, that is to say to remove deposits accumulated in manholes and pipes adjacent to means of a cleaning pipe comprising a cleaning head sending water at high pressure and a pipe for the suction of sludge and liquid residues.
It is understood that this type of equipment must allow the operator, who remains near the manhole located on the road, to place the cleaning pipe with the cleaning head at its end in the manhole, to the desired location (s), hold it in position all the way through the high-pressure cleaning operation, while ordering the high-pressure water to be sent and then reassembled on the truck. Then, the operator must perform the same operations of positioning, control, maintenance and recovery with the pipe for suction.
From the foregoing, it is understood that there are so many manipulations that the operator must realize, without being able to have a good vision of the position in the interior of the gaze, and thus without guaranteeing a good cleaning if areas n have not been washed and / or aspirated.
In addition, especially during the ascent of the pipes, and in particular the cleaning pipe, it may occur splashing out of the mouth of the sewer which, combined with the possible contamination of the pipes, will lead to a situation. and manipulations sometimes very uncomfortable for the operator.

However, it is sought to allow a greater accuracy of the position of the suction and cleaning pipes, especially above the manhole, and in particular near the gaze, and in the eye, both in the vertical direction (height / depth) and radially about a vertical axis passing through the manhole.
The present invention aims to provide a mobile sewer cleaning unit to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art and in particular offering the possibility of facilitating the precise positioning of the working end of the pipes suction and cleaning at each step, ie during the installation phase of the pipes, during the cleaning work, then when the pipes come out of the manhole.
For this purpose, according to the present invention, the mobile unit comprises:
- a suction pipe mounted on a reel and connected to a collection tank and a suction pump,
- a high pressure cleaning hose mounted on a reel and connected to a water tank, a high pressure pump and a cleaning head,
- an arm for supporting and guiding the suction pipe and the cleaning pipe, said arm comprising a horizontal part connected to the mobile unit being rotatable about a vertical axis and in horizontal translation with respect to the mobile unit to allow positioning of the working end of the suction and cleaning pipes above the manhole,
the suction and cleaning pipes being connected to said lower module, whereby the positioning of the lower module corresponds substantially to that of the working end of the suction and cleaning pipes.
In this way, it is understood that by the different degrees of freedom of the support arm and guide, one obtains a precision important position of the suction pipe and the cleaning pipe carried by this support arm and guide.
Indeed, by the equipment provided at the horizontal portion of the arm, it is movable as a whole in rotation about a vertical axis and the entire vertical portion is movable in horizontal translation relative to the movable unit.
In addition, in a specific manner to the invention, the vertical portion of the arm comprises arrangements for its lower end, the lower module to be movable both in rotation about a vertical axis and in vertical translation.
In this way, it is understood that the desired positioning of the lower module, and therefore of the working end of the suction and cleaning pipes inside the manhole, is easily achieved.
This solution also has the additional advantage of avoiding inadvertent movement of the suction and cleaning pipes, and in particular that the end of the cleaning pipe, equipped with a cleaning head, does not rise and collide with the operator. or that this cleaning pipe is worn out by rubbing the wall of the manhole or pipes.
Overall, thanks to the solution according to the present invention, it is possible to greatly facilitate the work of the operator which becomes more precise and less arduous, which provides a greater efficiency of the cleaning operations.
Preferably, the connection between the horizontal portion and the vertical portion of the arm forms a hinge articulated by a ball joint allowing a maximum deflection of 15 °, and preferably 5 °, at most 3 °, between the part horizontal and the vertical part.
Advantageously, the horizontal portion of the arm comprises first drive means and a first pivot joint allowing said rotational movement about a vertical axis relative to the mobile unit, the horizontal portion of the arm further comprising second means and a plurality of interlocking profiles which are adapted to perform said horizontal translation movement of the horizontal part of the arm by telescopic displacement between the profiles by said second means drive. For example, these second drive means comprise a hydraulic cylinder located centrally of the set of nested sections.
According to a preferred arrangement, the vertical part of the arm further comprises an upper module which is connected to the horizontal part and which has third drive means able to allow the vertical translation movement of the lower module. These third drive means comprise for example an electric winch associated with a cable with the possibility of disengagement to switch to manual control. Other forms of implementation may be provided for these third drive means, such as the use of a control jack.
In this case, advantageously, the vertical portion of the arm further comprises a second pivot joint comprising a ring and fourth drive means for the rotational movement about a vertical axis of the lower module. These fourth drive means comprise for example a control motor of the second pivot joint to allow rotation of the vertical arm, the crown can take various forms, including that of a bearing ring, with segments ...
In addition, in this case, it is preferably provided that the vertical portion of the arm further comprises an intermediate module, located between the lower module and the upper module, being connected to the crown of the pivot joint, and which comprises a plurality of profiles fitted into each other and capable of performing said vertical translation movement of the vertical part of the arm by telescopic displacement between the sections by virtue of said second drive means of the upper part, whereby the lower module is driven according to the same vertical translation movement, one of the profiles of the intermediate module being fixed on the ring of the pivot joint.
According to another preferred arrangement, the suction pipe is detachably connected to said vertical part of the arm. For example, the free end of the suction pipe is telescopically housed in a sleeve connected to the vertical part of the arm.
Thus, preferably, the lower module is provided with a ring for retaining the suction pipe, via the sleeve, so that it follows the movements of the lower module.
In general, it is advantageously provided for the lower module to shift the suction pipe around the cleaning pipe forming the central position, by radial indexing. Such an arrangement makes it possible, for example, to clean adjacent areas of the cunette which faces the manholes, such as the side benches.
According to one embodiment, the suction pipe is rotatable by indexing via a ring relative to an extension of the profiles of the intermediate module.
According to another preferred feature, the horizontal and vertical parts of the arm are provided with a guide system of the suction pipe and / or the roller cleaning pipe.
Advantageously, the lower module further comprises a camera module allowing, from the lower module, to visualize the inside of the gaze and the adjacent channel zones. Such an arrangement makes it possible to facilitate the diagnosis before treatment by hydrocuring and / or the control of the state of the installation after this hydrocuring operation. In this case, advantageously, said camera module is connected to a data acquisition system and / or visualization by a cable along the support arm and guide. Thus, the information collected via the camera can be transmitted to the data acquisition and / or visualization system which can make it possible to perform these checks and verifications remotely or at a later time, in particular by another operator.
Alternatively or in addition to the remaining camera module connected to the lower module, the lower module further comprises a support adapted to receive a stand-alone carriage equipped with a mobile camera. In this case, the mobile camera can move in the network and collect visual information relating to other areas than that directly located in the vertical extension or near the manhole.
Preferably, the lower module further comprises a deployable support member adapted to come into contact with the structure of the manhole. Such an organ makes it possible to facilitate the accuracy of the positioning of the suction and cleaning pipes and prevents any inadvertent movement caused by the pressure of the water mainly by ejection under high pressure for cleaning. This member consists for example of a deployable sleeve in which is guided the working end of the cleaning pipe, carrying the cleaning head.
Advantageously, the mobile unit further comprises a movable protective hood in vertical translation around the vertical portion of the arm and adapted to surround the arm above the manhole.
In this way, the bell closes the eyes for the operator who is thus protected from any splash and any additional odors generated by the cleaning operations by hydrocuring and suction, while allowing the maneuvers of the arm (in particular the translational movement vertical of the vertical part of the arm). It is understood that this bell, which is preferably part of the intermediate module, provides protection for the operator, whether in terms of hygiene and reduced health risks and / or more generally in terms of safety. In addition, it is advantageously provided that the up / down movement of the bell is slaved to the movement of the cleaning pipe.
According to another preferred possibility, the protection bell comprises a camera module, movable at least vertically with respect to the support arm and guide and for viewing the interior of the sewer manhole and adjacent pipe zones. In this case, it should be understood that this camera module of the bell plays the role of the possible camera module of the lower module mentioned above. In this way, it is possible thanks to this camera module housed, at rest, in the bell, a means for exploring and viewing the manhole and its environment. Preferably, this camera module is autonomous in its control and movements of the support arm and guide, for example through a system allowing it to move in a reversible vertical telescopic movement.
The present invention also relates to a vehicle comprising a mobile cleaning unit as presented above.

The

In this way, when the

Under the
The cylinder 242 (relatively rigid) forming the working end of the
The raising (lowering) operations of the
Also, thanks to the second pivot joint 223c between the
It should be understood that the cleaning
To complete these first display means, the
The
From the foregoing, it will be understood that at the level of the support and guide
In addition, the
Tanks intended to contain, on the one hand, clean water for the high-pressure jet (water tank) and, on the other hand, sludge and dirty water sucked by the suction pipe (collection tank) can be formed by a
Alternatively, the water tank is separated from the collection tank, the latter can be equipped with an ejector piston to facilitate its emptying.
