Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Umbau eines Einhüllentankschiffes (1) in ein Doppelhüllentankschiff mit folgenden Verfahrensschritten: a) Das Einhüllentankschiff (1) wird in einen Heckabschnitt (2), einen Tankabschnitt (3) und einen Bugabschnitt (4) quergeteilt; b) der Tankabschnitt (3) wird an seiner Rumpfhülle außen in einem Abstand mit einer zweiten Rumpfhülle (8) umkleidet; c) der Heckabschnitt (2) und der Bugabschnitt (4) werden mit dem Tankabschnitt (3) wieder verbunden, wobei die Böden der Heck (2)- und Bugabschnitte (4) mit dem durch die zweite Rumpfhülle (8) gebildeten neuen Boden des Tankabschnittes (3) fluchten.
