Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a retention channel module for constructing a retention channel for underground storage of surface water, wherein the retention channel module is composed of shell parts.
In general, such retention channel modules are preferably used for surface drainage of airports or similar large-scale facilities. The retention channel is essentially a type of intermediate storage in which accumulating surface water is retained and only gradually released to the soil or the sewer system. Through slit-like inlet openings, the surface water enters the retention channel and is discharged via a predetermined drain. Through this cache is strong Rainfalls avoid overloading the sewers, which can otherwise cause flooding of important traffic areas.
However, this construction resides in the disadvantage that it is associated with the variable design that the inlet nozzle embody a bottleneck in which dirt, leaves or the like can set. These are flushed in through the funnels and can settle in the nozzle, which can significantly restrict the functionality of the channel.
The invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a retention channel, which can be produced with a few mutually differing elements and dispenses with bottlenecks on the inlet nozzle.
This object is achieved by means of a retention channel according to the features of the main claim. Further advantageous embodiments can be taken from the subclaims.
According to the invention, the retention trough module consists of several shell parts, of which at least two shell parts are quarter shells and which together form a tubular body. Although the intended arranged at the top of the trough shell parts abut each other, so that the trough module has the associated stability.
However, the shock is not continuous or even impermeable, but rather carried out only selectively, so that between the shell parts upper side, an inlet slot is released. Through this inlet slot can accumulate on the surface of accumulating water in the retention channel, with an entry of coarser material is possible, with a blockage of the inlet nozzle is avoided due to the shape of the inlet slot.
Advantageously, the said quarter shells complement each other with only one additional half shell to form a complete tube.
The shell parts are preferably made of a particularly robust and water-resistant material such as PEHD, but other materials such as galvanized steel or stainless steel are suitable.
In a meaningful further development of the inlet slot of two inlet surfaces is limited, which are largely parallel to each other and describe an inlet channel into the channel. This eliminates the need for additional inlet nozzle.
Retention channels are often used under traffic areas, so that usually a high load on the gutters acts. Therefore, the inlet surfaces of the shell parts, preferably by means of spacer screws, connected to each other, so that a displacement or bending of the gutter parts, in particular the inlet, is avoided.
In order to present no obstacle and no risk of injury on the surface, the enema is advantageously an attachment, in particular made of plastic or metal, such as sheet metal, assigned. As a result, the stability of the channel, in particular in the region of the inlet is increased. Such a reinforced channel can be used approximately in the area of traffic areas, which are exposed to increased load, such as heavy goods traffic. In addition, an optical termination of the groove is created.
Advantageously, this slotted sheet or cover grate is provided with an anchor, by means of which a fixation of the slotted plate or the grating is made possible either with the gutter or with the soil.
The shell parts are mutually advantageously connected to a connecting mechanism, such as a tongue and groove joint. Otherwise, the shell parts can be screwed together or connected via a flange. Likewise, connections under several channel modules are possible.
To improve the dimensional accuracy of the channel, it is extremely advantageous if at least one shell part stiffening ribs are assigned, which support the outer walls. Through the shell part construction can optionally be used on individual parts in which a ribbing can be omitted.
With particular advantage, the shell parts are attachable increase pieces, with the help of which an enlargement of the channel volume and thus an increase in the capacity can be created.
The invention described above is explained in more detail below with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawing.
