Abstract

The procedure for applying an anti-slip substance e.g. to the inner surface of garments such as socks or stockings, consists of applying the substance by silk-screen printing in a pattern (30) on at least one non-adhesive support (102a, 102b) with a coating of a material having a low friction coefficient. The inner surface of the article is placed facing the support, and the layers are inserted into a transfer press with two heating plates (108a, 108b) that are brought together under pressure to transfer the pattern.

Description

The invention relates to a method of depositing an anti-slip material on the inner face of at least one piece intended to form an article of clothing, the inner face of which forms the lapel, comes into contact with the skin, as well as an article of clothing obtained by this method.

In particular, an article of clothing means an undergarment or an article of footwear.

The invention also relates to an article of footwear having a tubular shape and made in an extensible knit.

For example, footwear covers the bottom, knee, socks, belts, knee pads, elbow patches or similar to surround ankle, wrist .....

Usually, in the knee highs or low, especially the articles of contention, but also the articles for simple clothing and without medical indication, the holding and / or the contention of the desired zones are carried out by a tighter knit and / or by the introduction of elastic fibers.

This induces a tight fitting of the area in question, especially in the upper part of the article to maintain the article on the leg without sliding, despite the gravity and generally flared shape of the leg.

In the case of knee-highs, despite the widening of this zone with a sharpened grip, intended to distribute the forces over a larger surface of the skin, the compression often remains too great in the highest part and causes a tourniquet effect. which marks the skin and causes discomfort when worn.

It is also known to add in this upper part, especially for the stockings, one or more silicone strips on the side facing the skin, which has the effect of allowing this upper part encloses the leg to ensure the maintenance in bottom position.

However, in the case of a stocking equipped with a continuous band of silicone, there is a tourniquet effect and adhesion of silicone on the skin which causes discomfort (unpleasant contact, redness ....). In addition, the hold is not always assured because the top of the bottom wearing this silicone strip tends to roll on itself, which reduces the silicone surface in contact, and the holding and creates, moreover, a troublesome extra thickness, especially in sitting position.

The document DE 39 16 040 A discloses a method of depositing an anti-slip material in a pattern comprising a plurality of separate areas on the inner side of at least one piece intended to form a clothing article whose inner face comes into contact with the skin.

The present invention aims to provide a method for overcoming the drawbacks of the prior art and in particular providing an alternative method for depositing an anti-slip material in a pattern comprising several separate zones covering the entire surface in one operation.

  1. a) on réalise le dépôt du matériau anti-glissement par sérigraphie selon un motif comprenant plusieurs zones séparées sur au moins un support non adhérent ;
For this purpose, according to the present invention, the method is characterized in that it comprises the following steps:
  1. a) depositing the anti-slip material by screen printing in a pattern comprising a plurality of separate zones on at least one non-adherent support;
  2. b) the inner face of said piece is arranged facing the non-adherent support,
  3. c) placing the stack formed of said part and the support in a transfer press comprising two heating plates capable of approaching one another, and
  4. d) bringing the two trays under pressure, whereby the material is transferred to the inner face of said workpiece according to the pattern.

In this way, it is understood that by the prior embodiment of a screen printing on at least one non-adherent support, the anti-slip material pattern is transferred as it is over the entire retaining surface of the article.

Indeed, if the piece intended to form the article is flat, positioning the retaining surface, located on the inner face, facing the non-adherent support coated with the pattern, the whole being placed between the plates of the press.

Alternatively, if the part intended to form the article is tubular, this part is turned so as to put on the outside the inner face forming the reverse, a plate is introduced inside the part, the two pieces are positioned the retaining surface between two non-adherent supports coated pattern, all being placed between the plates of the press.

Indeed, in this case, the method defined above is characterized in that said piece has a tubular shape intended to form a footwear and in that
during step a), the anti-slip material is deposited by screen printing according to said pattern on two non-adherent supports, during step b) the inner face of said part is arranged between the two non-adherent supports that face each other,
during step c) placing the stack formed of said piece disposed between the two non-adherent supports in a transfer press comprising two heating plates capable of approaching one another, and
d) bringing the two trays under pressure, whereby the material is transferred from each non-adherent support to the inner face of said workpiece according to the pattern and said workpiece is ironed.

This solution also has the additional advantage of allowing, in addition to a simple and adaptable implementation to any size and the deposition of any pattern of anti-slip material, also a manufacture which is carried out with fewer steps since we obtain a product already ironed because of its passage between the two plates of the heat press.

In addition, this method makes it possible to reduce the amount of anti-slip material deposited since there is no continuous strip but only discrete points of material. In addition to saving material used, one can make deposits of smaller extent and thinner which will be more discreet, especially under other clothes.

Overall, thanks to the solution according to the present invention, it is possible to realize in a single step, and with precision, the coating of the lapel of the piece or pieces intended to form a clothing article with an anti-slip material arranged according to a predetermined pattern.

Avantageusement, ledit matériau anti-glissement est du silicone.Advantageously, said anti-slip material is silicone.

By way of example, this material with a low coefficient of friction is polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) or Teflon (registered trademark).

Also, the present invention relates to an article of footwear having a tubular shape and made in an extensible knit, characterized in that it comprises on the inner face of at least one section an anti-slip material in a pattern comprising several separate zones. , in that it is ironed on both sides of two fold lines and in that the two fold lines are not covered with anti-slip material.

We refer to the figure 1 representing the installation 100 for implementing the method according to the present invention. This installation 100 comprises two upper and lower non-adherent supports 102a, 102b, each formed of an endless mat that can be made of glass fabric, and coated with a material with a low coefficient of friction, in particular polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) or Teflon (registered trademark).

Conventionally, the mats forming the non-adherent supports 102a, 102b are set in motion by means of different cylinders 104 comprising guide rolls and driving rolls connected to a motor.

Detail A of the figure 1 corresponds to the screen-printing system 106 of the upper non-adherent support 102a, and will be described hereinafter in connection with the description of the Figures 2 and 3 .

The installation 100 also comprises a heating press illustrated schematically by its two upper and lower trays 108a, 108b disposed on either side of two sections opposite non-adherent supports 102a, 102b.

Also, installation 100 includes a support plate 110 for carrying the piece of fabric to be coated and which is positioned between the two aforementioned sections of non-adherent supports 102a, 102b.

This installation 100 makes it possible to carry out the method of depositing the anti-slip material according to the present invention, which is produced according to the principle of transfer printing. Preferably, this anti-slip material is silicone.

The following explanations correspond to the implementation of the method according to the present invention for a mid-low 20 forming the article of clothing, or more precisely a footwear consisting of a single piece of tubular knitted fabric closed at one end.

In the first place, the silicone pattern to be transferred is printed on the lapel of the knee 20 on the two non-adherent supports 102a, 102b (on the faces facing outwards).

For this purpose, as it appears more precisely on Figures 2 and 3 , the screen-printing deposition system 106 comprises a frame 1061 whose bottom forms a printing stencil 1062 comprising openings arranged in a predetermined pattern (staggered holes in the figures). A quantity of silicone 1063 is deposited on the bottom, next to the openings of the printing stencil 1062. After the frame 1061 has been placed above the corresponding section of the non-adherent support 102a, the printing stencil 1062 is put in contact with each other. with the upper surface of this section (see the arrows on the figure 2 ), then a squeegee 1064 is used to dispense the silicone 1063 over the entire surface of the stencil 1062. At the end of these operations, this squeegee 1064 is in the position shown in dotted lines on the figure 3 .

In this way, as we see on the Figures 4 and 5 , the silicone is distributed on the upper surface of two non-adherent supports 102a, 102b, in the predetermined pattern consisting of silicone point islands 1063a, the deposited thickness having been conditioned by the depth of the printing stencil holes. 1062.

After the deposition of this silicone pattern 30 on the two non-adherent supports 102a, 102b, the latter are offset so that the section of each of them bearing a pattern 30 is facing each other. in zone B visible on the figure 1 .

Then, as it is illustrated more precisely on Figures 6 to 8 the transfer of this silicone pattern 30 is effected by means of a heating press. More specifically, the knee 20 turned up and arranged around the support plate 110 formed of an aluminum tongue (see figure 7 ), is positioned so that the portion 22 of the mid-bottom forming the highest portion on the leg, is positioned opposite the sections of the two non-adherent supports 102a, 102b carrying the silicone patterns.

The two trays 108a, 108b of the heating press are then brought together (arrows 32 of the figure 6 ), which brings the two non-adherent supports 102a, 102b towards the mid-bottom 20 (arrows 34 of the figure 6 ), up to a contact between the silicone pattern 30 and the back of the mid-bottom section 22.

At this time, the pressure and the heat make it possible to carry out, in a single step, the transfer of the silicone pattern on the lapel of the knee 20, the vulcanization of the silicone as well as the ironing of the mid-bottom. Indeed, the heat allows each island 1063 of silicone to detach from the non-adherent support that it carries and to be placed at the location next to the section 22 of the mid-bottom 20. In parallel, the action of the heat allows the vulcanization or crosslinking of this material which has been chosen to allow this regulation by heat in a relatively short time of a few seconds to a few tens of seconds. By way of example, a two-component silicone is used, in particular the liquid silicone of the ELASTOSIL (registered trademark) LR 3003 series from the company Wacker, which has been satisfactorily used with trays 108a, 108b at a temperature 240 ° C under a pressure of 3 bar for a transfer time of 15 seconds.

Obviously, during this transfer, the pressure exerted by the plates has flattened the islets 1063 'of crosslinked silicone whose outwardly facing face has a relief which is complementary to the surface state or the relief of the useful face non-adherent supports 102a, 102b. In this way, it is understood that it is possible to consider depositing islands of silicone having on their surface a controlled roughness, including a smooth surface state.

In addition, as indicated above, the pressing of the knee 20 in addition to depositing the crosslinked silicone pattern 30 ', also an ironing. It is understood that it is possible to use trays 108a, 108b having a sufficient size so that the whole of the mid-bottom 20 disposed on the support plate 110 is positioned between these trays 108a, 108b so that the the whole of the knee-high is thus ironed.

It is for this reason, and because of the tubular shape of mid-bottom 20, that there is the absence of silicone islands 1063 'on the section 22 mid-low along the fold line 24 (see figure 9 ). This feature does not jeopardize the restraint mid-low on the leg as will be discussed below. However, the absence of silicone along the fold line 24 is a characteristic directly attributable to the manufacturing method which has just been described.

In this case, it is understood that we are dealing with a knee 20 intended to cover at least a portion of the calf and that, moreover, the fold lines 24 follow, preferably, the direction of the leg, which allows you to have a knee-high ready for its packaging.

The knee 20 thus produced has an upper portion 22 coated, on its inner side or reverse, the pattern 30 'of crosslinked silicone which will come into contact with the skin. In this case, it should be understood that it is this contact due to the supply of silicone that will allow the maintenance of mid-low on the leg. Indeed, for the present invention, it is possible to use a knee-length made entirely with the same knit and without having to resort to modifying the knit or adding elastic fibers in the section to increase the qualities. intrinsic elastics of the knit in section 22.

Thus, according to an alternative embodiment, the pattern 30 'anti-slip material is disposed in the section 22 located highest on the leg and the knit is the same in said section and in the rest of the footwear, c that is, there is no tighter knitting in the section 22 receiving the silicone forming the anti-slip material.

Alternativement, on peut combiner l'utilisation du dépôt de silicone avec la modification du tricot et/ou l'ajout de fibres élastiques dans le tronçon 22.Alternatively, the use of the silicone deposit can be combined with the modification of the knit and / or the addition of elastic fibers in the section 22.

In all these situations, thanks to this deposition of silicone islands, it is avoided, as in the case of the traditional knee-down, a tightening on the leg which causes a tourniquet effect 10 making marks on the skin, or even an effect of bearing of the free edge of the upper section, all of these effects causing discomfort during and after wearing the knee high.

This silicone may be present in the form of islands, more or less extended, in the form of circles, rings, rectangle, squares, triangle or any other shape, these islands realizing between them a pattern predetermined by the stencil 1062.

It will be understood that, in general, the anti-slip material, that is to say in the examples the silicone, makes only by contact with the skin, without providing any tightening, all or part of the holding of the article. fit.

In this way, the upper part of the mid-bottom ensures the maintenance of the latter on the leg without showing a distinct appearance of the rest of the knee, either in terms of texture or in terms of degree of tightening on the leg, which provides total discretion of this part and overall aesthetic benefit when worn mid-low. This technique remains exactly the same in the case where the deposition method according to the present invention is used for a footwear item formed of a stocking.

In this case, it is found that 7 g of silicone are sufficient to achieve the resistance on the leg against the use of more than 10 g by a method of the prior art where the screen printing was performed directly on the fabric forming a fabric. band that had previously been reported on the tubular knitted portion forming the leg.

Indeed, one of the advantages of the present invention is to be able to carry out the transfer of the silicone directly to a tubular element constituting the entire article of footwear without having to bring back the tape previously coated with silicone on the edge of the product.

It is understood that it is possible to make such a silicone deposit for holding by contact for other articles of clothing.

In general, this technique is entirely appropriate for depositing silicone for holding the article of clothing, on any fabric, and in particular on any stretchy knit, in particular a "charmeuse" type knit, which forms a knit sweater widely used in lingerie.

Notamment, et en premier lieu, d'autres articles vestimentaires tubulaires sont concernés : ceinture, coudière, genouillère, protection de la cheville, protection du poignet...In particular, and in the first place, other tubular clothing items are concerned: belt, elbow pad, knee pad, ankle protection, wrist protection ...

In addition, and second, many other categories of clothing items are concerned, among those not having a tubular shape. In this case, it may be necessary to make the deposit of patterns of silicone on flat parts, initially forming separate portions and which will be joined after the transfer of the silicone. Two examples of embodiments will be described in relation to the Figures 10 to 15 successively presenting a brief or panty and a bra.

It is understood that other types of underwear are also concerned, including sheaths, pants, bodysuits, bodysuits, swimwear ... or clothing that can be worn on the skin, generally tight clothing, such as a camisole, tank top, jersey, underpants, corsair, cyclist ...

On the figure 10 , in order to produce a slip 40, two knit pieces 41,42 front and rear are prepared. Each of the front and rear knit pieces 41, 42 has a contour including a border 43 intended to form the waistband, two edges 44 intended to form the notches surrounding the thigh and three connecting sections 45 delimiting between them the borders mentioned above, and intended to be associated with the link sections 45 of the other piece to reconstruct the panty.

In this case, the borders 43 and 44 for respectively forming the belt and surrounding the thigh are the areas on which silicone will be deposited according to the method of the present invention.

In this case, the production steps that have been described above are simply modified by the fact that only one of the two non-adherent supports 102a, 102b receives silicone by screen printing to form all the patterns of the two pieces 41, 42 which are arranged side by side on the support plate 110.

In order to improve the volume of the underpants, and in particular to produce the curve of the buttocks, the corresponding zone Z2 of the rear piece 42 is shaped, before, during or after the deposition of the silicone at the borders 43, 44, in particular by thermoforming .

Indeed, as he is reminded in relation to the Figures 14 and 15 , Thermoforming allows to give a volume to an elastic fabric, including a fabric consisting of or comprising synthetic fibers. This fabric 50 is first locked in a thermoforming head 60 comprising a male mold 62 having a convex shape identical to that which it is desired to transpose to the tissue, a female mold 64 having a convex shape complementary to the concave shape of the male mold 62, and a ring 66 which pinches the fabric 50 to hold it in place above the female mold 64. During the thermoforming operation, the male mold 62 descends into the female mold 64, which allows the give shape to the tissue 50 in the determined zone. This position (see figure 15 ) being maintained for a few tens of seconds while the female mold 64 is heated to a temperature of the order of 200 ° C (generally the fabric 50 does not come into contact with the female mold 64), the form thus given becomes final .

Indeed, it is understood that this thermoforming step can be very easily integrated into the deposition process according to the present invention, using trays 108a, 108b integrating the male and female molds.

Then, the two pieces 41, 42 are interconnected at the connecting portions 45 by means of a seam or ultrasonic welding, which allows the panty 40 to be reconstituted as a whole, as it appears on FIG. figure 11 .

It is also possible to provide, in the zone Z1 forming a portion of the front portion Z1 intended to cover the belly and the lower abdomen, a holding zone on which it is also possible to transfer silicone, for example in a pattern cross lines forming a lattice.

Thus, all the zones (borders 43 and 44, and possibly zone Z1) covered with silicone on the back of the fabric will allow to replace all or part of the elastic fibers used for the maintenance of the underpants.

We will now refer to Figures 12 and 13 illustrating the application of the method according to the invention in the case of a bra 70.

Initially, we provide a piece of knitted fabric 72 unique whose inner face is visible on the figure 12 , which is flat and which constitutes the whole of the bra, with the exception of the straps and fasteners generally located at the back.

In this case, the piece of fabric 72 consists mainly of two elongated lateral zones 72a between which is formed a central zone 72b having a notch 72c located on either side of the two portions 72d of the central zone 72b, designed to form the caps. For this application of the process according to the invention, it is conceivable to perform the deposition of the silicone patterns along almost the entire edge 73 of the piece 72 except for the locations corresponding to the link sections 75 on which we will fix straps and fasteners.

Advantageously, the cups 72d 'of the bra are made by thermoforming the piece of fabric 72 at the two portions 72d. As in the case of the brief described above, it is understood that the thermoforming step can be integrated in the silicone deposition process according to the invention, being performed during steps c) and d) with a press whose trays 108a, 108b also form the male and female molds.

Then, as it appears on the figure 13 the straps 76 and the two fastening elements 78 (hook, clip, snap fastener ...) are added by connecting them to the connection sections 75 by stitching or by ultrasonic welding.

Thus, the silicone patterns deposited on the edge 73 ensure the maintenance, or at least contribute to the maintenance in place of the bra on the body, by simply touching the silicone on the skin, without tightening, without marking the skin and remaining invisible, while letting the skin breathe.

From the foregoing, it is understood that the general method according to the present invention can, in the case where the part is made of a heat-deformable fabric, furthermore comprise a step e) during which the deformation is carried out by thermoforming. at least one zone (Z2, 72d) of said part intended to cover a curved part of the body and which is not covered with anti-slip material.

Thus, when said article of clothing is a bra 70, during step e) the two cups 72d are formed.

Also, when said article of clothing is a brief or panty 40, during step e), at least the portion Z2 covering the buttocks is formed.

In both cases (article of clothing consisting of a brief 40 or a bra 70), steps d) and e) of the general process are carried out simultaneously by the fact that the press trays are provided with a protruding part (male mold 62) and a hollow part (Female mold 64) complementary shape for deforming said area of the room.

In addition, especially the case of the underpants 40, that is to say when the article of clothing is composed of several pieces, but this can be envisaged also when the article of clothing is composed of a single piece, it can be provided that the general method comprises an additional step in which is assembled together at least two portions of the edge of the piece to form said article of clothing.

In the cases presented in the foregoing description, the pattern of the anti-slip material is transferred over at least part of the edge (43, 44, 73) of the piece (41, 42; maintain function on the skin.

In addition, it should be noted that the silicone pattern which is deposited on the article of clothing is, in the case of using a transparent silicone as an anti-slip material, totally invisible. However, in some cases, one may want to look for these patterns to be visible for decorative purposes. In this case, it is sufficient to add pigments to the silicone.

Also, it is conceivable to incorporate in silicone an additive resistant to the thermoforming temperature and which has properties that can be used in contact with the skin, such as moisturizing, slimming, perfuming properties .....
