  • Bei Anordnung der Zusatzbohrungen auf einem entsprechenden Teilkreis ist es möglich, eine einfache Zwei-Griff-Armatur direkt in die Zusatzbohrungen einzuschrauben, wenn der Anschlussblock so installiert ist, dass die beiden Zusatzbohrungen auf einer horizontalen Linie liegen. Später kann im Austausch ein Armaturengrundkörper mit Thermostatventil oder dergleichen aufgesetzt werden. Es kann dann mit dem erfindungsgemäßen Anschlussblock eine Vereinfachung der Installation erreicht werden.
  • Für die Dichtigkeitsprüfung durch Druckaufbau in der Leitung, dem so genannten Abdrücken, werden sämtliche Öffnungen an der Kopplungsseite des Anschlussblocks durch Blindstopfen verschlossen. Dabei werden solche Stopfen in die Zusatzbohrungen eingesetzt, die bis in die Verbindungskanäle hinein vorgetrieben werden können und diese vollständig absperren. Die Wasser führenden Wege sind somit vollständig abgesperrt und es kann eine Druckprüfung von der Warm- und der Kaltwasserzulaufseite her durchgeführt werden, außerdem auch von einem Brauseschlauch-Anschluss oder von einer Wannenfüllarmatur aus.
  • Zum Spülen der Rohrleitungen nach Abschluss der Installation werden ebenfalls alle Bohrungen an der Kopplungsseite verschlossen, wobei aber nur die Zusatzbohrungen verschlossen werden und die Verbindungskanäle offen bleiben. Auf diese Weise kann Warm- und/oder Kaltwasser zum Brauseschlauch bzw. zur Wannenfüllarmatur hin geleitet werden. In den Leitungen eventuell vorhandene Schmutzpartikel werden somit ausgespült.
  • Soweit eine Zwei-Griff-Armatur montiert ist, kann diese auch anstelle der Zusatzstopfen eine Dichtigkeitsprüfung und/oder eine Spülung erlauben.
  • Nach Abschluss der Prüfung werden die Zusatzbohrungen und zugleich auch die Verbindungskanäle verschlossen, so dass keine Querströmungen mehr innerhalb des Anschlussblocks möglich sind.

  • b) Die Rohreinsatzbohrungen 111,...,114 sind mit Gewindekappen verschlossen. Die Zusatzbohrungen 115, 116 sind mit Gewindestiften verschlossen, die die Verbindungskanäle 125, 126 vollständig absperren. Von allen Anschlüssen 101,...,104 aus kann nun eine Dichtigkeitsprüfung vorgenommen werden.
  • c) Die Rohreinsatzbohrungen 111,...,114 sind verschlossen. Die Anschlüsse für die Wasserabläufe 102, 104 sind mit Blindstopfen oder in sonstiger Weise verschlossen. Die Zusatzbohrungen 115, 116 besitzen ein gängiges Schraubgewinde, z.B. 3/8" oder ½", wodurch eine Zweilocharmatur direkt angeschlossen angesetzt werden kann. Erforderlich ist es dazu nur, den Anschlussblock 100 so einzubauen, dass die Zusatzbohrungen 115, 126 auf einer horizontalen Linie liegen. Bei einer Anordnung der Anschlüsse 101,...,104 auf einem Teilkreis und mit einer gleichmäßigen Teilung sowie bei einer mittigen Anordnung der Zusatzbohrungen 115, 116 zwischen je zwei Anschlüssen 101, 102 und 103, 104 führt dies zu einer Schrägstellung der Verbindungsachsen sich gegenüberliegender Anschlüsse um 45°.
  • d) Für eine Nutzung mit einer höherwertigen Sanitärarmatur werden die Rohreinsatzbohrungen 111,...,114 wieder geöffnet. Die Zusatzbohrungen 115, 116 werden dicht verschlossen, wobei zugleich die Verbindungskanäle 125, 126 abgesperrt werden. Ein Sanitärarmaturengrundkörper 200, der in Fig. 3 dargestellt ist, wird mit seinen Rohrstutzen 201,...,204 in die Rohreinsatzbohrungen 111,...,114 eingesetzt und stützt sich nur über diese am Anschlussblock 100 ab, ohne an der Kopplungsseite 110 aufzuliegen. Hierdurch ist es möglich, einen geringen Höhenversatz des Sanitärarmaturengrundkörpers 200 gegenüber dem Anschlussblock 100 auszugleichen. Der Sanitärarmaturengrundkörper 200 wird an Bohrungen 231,...,234 mit den Gewindebohrungen 131,...,134 im Anschlussblock 100 verschraubt. Um einen Höhenausgleich vornehmen zu können, können verschieden dicke Distanzelemente dazwischen eingefügt sein.
