- A switching device capable of ensuring the connection of a connector (1) of the device on a telephone data transmission line, from a so-called input operator connection (2) toward a so-called output subscriber network connection (3), and performing, during placement of the plug in said connector, the disconnection of the input and the output and the connection of said connector (1) on said input (2), said device comprising a box (7) having a connection (2A) of said input and a connection (3A) of said output supported by a support plate (4) of the device and capable of being electrically connected by a printed circuit (C) of the device, said box also containing said connector (1) capable of being connected to said input (2) by means of a switch (5) that can be actuated by a pushbutton (6) of the device, said pushbutton (6) in turn being actuated during plugging of the plug into said connector (1).
