Definitions

  • the invention relates to a portion of a sports shoe such as a collar, a shell or a strap as well as the sports shoe itself, and its method of manufacture. It is particularly suitable for boards for gliding such as ski or surf or skating shoes, which are under heavy stress and are used in aggressive environments.
  • a ski boot for example requires on the one hand a significant resistance and on the other hand a high level of comfort. Indeed, such a shoe undergoes many efforts during its use and must therefore be endowed with good resistance. Strong rigidity is also necessary to achieve a good performance of the shoe which, as an intermediary between the skier and the ski, transmits the efforts of the skier to the ski to guide the latter. However, its comfort constraints are also high. In particular, the boot must have sufficient flexibility to allow the skier to open it for putting on and off, allow him to bend his knees forward to ski, and provide him with sufficient comfort despite his use in extreme conditions. of temperature and in a humid and aggressive environment.
  • An object of the present invention is to provide a sports shoe that does not have the disadvantages of the prior art.
  • a first object of the present invention to provide a sports shoe that allows easy donning and removal, while providing good rigidity and therefore achieving good performance.
  • a second object of the invention is to provide a sports shoe whose aesthetics is attractive.
  • a third object of the present invention is to provide a sports shoe whose manufacturing process remains simple and compatible with multi-injection methods.
  • a part of the sports shoe comprises two layers of superimposed plastic materials, a layer of which is present in a small quantity on a deformation axis, via one or more recesses, to define a zone of deformation of the part of the shoe, this deformation having the function of facilitating the boot and / or the heaving.
  • a ski boot comprises a collar 1 incorporating a first embodiment of the invention.
  • the collar 1 is rotatably mounted on a shell 2, around a transverse horizontal axis 3, the assembly incorporating a liner 10.
  • the collar 1 can thus rotate slightly about this axis 3 to allow a necessary flexibility to the skier who flexes his knees when he's skiing.
  • This collar 1 further comprises an opening on the front for easy donning, as is known in the prior art, and clipping elements 6 on either side of the opening to close the collar to ski .
  • Part of the collar 1 comprises a rigid outer layer 4, for example polyurethane or polypropylene hardness of 55 shd, and a softer inner layer 5, for example polyurethane or polypropylene hardness of 45 shd.
  • the outer layer 4 comprises a narrowing zone 7, made by recesses 9 of the layer 4, which forms a substantially vertical lateral axis 8 along which the collar comprises little rigid material.
  • the constriction 7 consists of a height of approximately three centimeters of rigid material, representing approximately one third of the total height of the collar, the other two thirds thus comprising only the softer material of the inner layer 5 of the necklace, the height being understood by the measurement along a vertical axis, as the axis 8.
  • the axis 8 is placed laterally but it could alternatively be placed on the back of the collar.
  • the combination between the two layers 4 and 5 of plastic material makes it possible to define an optimum solution between the desired comfort and the overall rigidity of the collar necessary for the performance of the shoe.
  • the top of the collar 1, which bears on the shin of the skier comprises a zone of low height which comprises only the inner layer of the skier. more flexible 5 not to hurt the skier whose shin pressure is strong in this area during skiing.
  • the rigid material of the collar of the outer layer 4 covers a generally large height of the collar on the front of the leg, greater than 50% of this height with the exception of the narrowing 7 described above, to allow good transmission of the skier's efforts to ski and therefore get a good performance of the shoe.
  • This solution combining two layers makes it possible to achieve a good compromise between comfort and stiffness for the shoe.
  • the narrowing 7 greatly increases the possible deformation of the collar and its release by rotation about the axis 8 when the fastening elements 6 are not closed, which significantly facilitates the boot and heaving of the shoe.
  • This narrowing 7 concerns only a small part of the overall circumference of the collar and has no significant impact on the rigidity of the collar and the performance of the shoe is not changed.
  • the inner layer 5 also has the function of sealing the collar, in particular at the recesses 9 of the layer 4 on the axis 8.
  • the ski boot described above can be manufactured according to a bi-injection manufacturing process of the two layers of plastic material to form the collar.
  • This commonly used method has the advantage of speed and simplicity. It comprises a first step of injection of the inner layer 5 and then a second superinjection stage of the outer layer 4, with the formation of the recesses 9 to form the constriction 7.
  • the ski boot described above can be manufactured by the injection of the outer layer 4 and the mechanical fastening or bonding or welding of the inner layer 5 made separately. This process makes it possible to modify the dimensions of the inner layer without having a new complex whole necklace mold to be developed.
  • FIG. figure 2a schematically illustrates a first embodiment of the invention which corresponds to that implemented on the ski boot described above, shown in FIG. figure 1 , in which the recesses 9 are formed on the ends of the layer 4 to form a narrowing 7 of this layer 4.
  • the figure 2b illustrates a second embodiment of the invention, wherein the axis 8 is oblique by way of example, and wherein the layer 4 comprises a plurality of recesses 9 of small sizes, suggesting the inner layer 5.
  • the Figure 2c illustrates a third embodiment which comprises of course a wide focus 9 on the height of the collar, which defines an oblong opening in the outer layer 4.
  • the recess (s) may not be totally traversing in the outer layer 4.
  • the order of the two layers could be reversed, the inner layer comprising the recess (s) to form the axis of rotation 8.
  • the latter can have any direction that allows the release of a portion of the shoe to facilitate the boot and the heaving of the shoe.
  • the solution can be implemented on the sole circumference of the shoe concerned by the need for opening for the boot, the other part of the circumference, for example the rear, remaining traditional.
  • Both layers can also include both recesses, distributed so as to maintain the tightness of the shoe, for example by their non-overlap.
  • the two layers may have hardnesses different from the example illustrated above without departing from the scope of the invention, from the moment when the overall hardness of the collar is substantially reduced along an axis 8 to allow its deformation on along this axis.
  • the figure 3 illustrates a second example of implementation of the invention on the shell 2 of a sports shoe, more specifically on a portion of the shell forming a flap on an opening of the shell positioned at the instep.
  • This flap is formed of two superimposed layers, the outer layer 4 comprising recesses 9 forming a narrowing 7 of this layer on an axis 8 which defines a deformation axis.
  • the flap thus acquires a greatly increased possibility of disengagement from the zone of the instep of the hull, thus enlarging the opening and facilitating the booting and the loosening of the boot.
  • the figure 4 illustrates a third example of implementation of the invention, on a strap 11 of sports shoe.
  • a strap can for example be used for closing and tightening the sports shoe, by superimposing on the openings of the collar 1 and / or the hull 2 mentioned (s) previously.
  • a strap consists of two layers of material, the layer 4 having recesses 9 to form an axis of rotation 8.
  • the strap may be manufactured such that in the open position of the shoe, it has an angle around the axis 8 which releases it from the opening of the boot and thus naturally facilitates in the rest position the boot and the heaving of the shoe.
  • the user grasps the strap, rotates it about the axis 8 to superpose it on the opening to close, before actuating the usual closing means.
  • the collar and / or the shell of the shoe may have a portion whose rest position has an angle about an axis 8 opposite the rest of the shoe to create an enlargement of the shoe. an opening of the shoe that facilitates its entry and its heaving.
  • the concept of the invention can be carried over on straps placed on certain bindings of gliding shoe, bindings which sometimes include some of the functions of the sports shoes mentioned above.
  • some surf bindings comprise a shoe-shell portion, attached to the surf, including closure straps, in which a relatively soft liner is placed, which is closed and tightened by these straps.
  • the closing and tightening straps of the shoe have been offset on the gliding board.
  • the overall concept of the invention remains the same since it is always easier to position the foot on the gliding board.
  • the invention also applies to all or part of the shoe that is fixed on a gliding machine, such as a skate, a surf ...
  • the concept of the invention also offers increased possibilities in terms of the aesthetic appearance of the shoe. Indeed, it is possible for example to use at least one translucent or transparent layer, positioned for example on the layer with recesses, to allow viewing these recesses while protecting them. In such a case, printing, marking or any intermediate medium, placed between the two layers, can be used to amplify the highlighting of the recesses. In another example, the material of the inner layer, in a case where it is more flexible and of different appearance, can also occupy the volume of the recesses of the upper layer more rigid and thus create an attractive aesthetic effect.
