Device for flow-through treatment of textile goods, nonwovens or paper with a gaseous or liquid treatment agent in a permeable drum (5) covered by a wire mesh (9), with straight sheet metal strips (10) being placed between the front ends (11, 12) of the drum (5), whose widths extend in radial direction, and web-shaped connecting elements (20) distributed regularly over the length of the drum (5) between the sheet metal strips (10) being fixed on both sides to the adjoining sheets metal strips (10) and provided with more than one bore for bolts (29, 29', 30, 30') and/or similar fastening elements with threads, so that two neighboring sheet metal strips (10) can be joined, characterized in that the flanks situated in radial direction on the inside and/or outside of the connecting element (20") are shaped like arrows and that the width of the connecting element between the bolt holes is identical to its width on a level with the bores (34, 35).
  2. Device in conformity with claim 1, characterized in that the connecting element (20") between the bores (34, 35) contains a hollow (36) arranged in parallel with the bores (34, 35).
  3. Device in conformity with claim 2, characterized in that the connecting element (20") on a level with the hollow is only provided with walls (37, 38) sufficient for the stability of the connecting element (20").
  4. Device in conformity with claim 3, characterized in that the walls (37, 38) on both sides of the hollow (36) are parallel.
  5. Device in conformity with one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the connecting element merely consists of a sheet metal bent like an arrow, which fully covers the two bolts (29, 30) or its components.
