Description

ABDECKUNG ZUR MEDIUMSFÜHRUNG BEI SCHLEIFSCHEIBEN MEDIUM CONDUCTOR COVER FOR GRINDING WHEELS
ϊ.ϊ.
The invention relates to a cover for grinding wheels according to the preamble of the claim! When grinding factory mosquitoes - regardless of their nature and with which grinding surface - high temperatures occur in the working area of the grinding tool, which can be regulated with coolant and lubricant. The invention is based, to improve the Kü ußg and lubrication auc already used grinding wheels, without major Umröstungsauf and. This is achieved in that the cover creates a cavity on the grinding wheel, which has the task of regulatingly absorbing the cooling uiϊd scπmiem eά m into the inside of the grinding wheel, compressing it there and bringing it to the required points of use in the grinding process. This coolant and lubricant control system enables the medium to be brought to the application points in a more targeted manner. In addition, both the key body and the grinding wheel holder are cooled more evenly and to a greater extent. This results in increased grinding performance and improved workpiece quality as well as longer tool life.
2. Wesentliche Einzelheiten2. Essential details
Loten. Verschrauben- Verkleben oder durch Sicherungsringe) erfolgen. The grinding wheel cover can be manufactured from a wide variety of materials and in a wide variety of working or processing methods (e.g. machining, forming technology, casting technology). This grinding wheel cover with its central opening serves to create a cavity and thus to introduce the medium into the inner body of the grinding wheel construction. The grinding wheel cover is equipped with separating elements, recesses or cutouts which compress the cooling and sealing medium inside the grinding wheel and force the same on the peripheral speed of the grinding wheel. This avoids an imbalance of the grinding wheel caused by sloshing medium. The medium is transported to the desired point of use through bores, openings or recesses in the grinding wheel and in the grinding pad. The grinding wheel cover can be attached to the grinding wheel by a detachable and non-detachable connection (for example by welding, soldering, screwing or gluing or by means of locking rings).
By means of the invention, the known grinding disks already used can be used in the case of new production as well as by subsequent installation without any major retrofitting, in particular with regard to improved grinding property characteristics. Longer service life, lower machine tool life, shorter machining times, higher repetition accuracy and improved maintenance of the grinding wheel and the workpiece, as well as higher surface quality of the workpiece. Due to the higher lubrication and high-temperature effects, there is no change in the geometry of processed materials. An example embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing. FIG. 1 shows a partial view of the grinding wheel cover for a peripheral grinding wheel.
Die Figur 2 zeigt einen Schnitt nach der Linie A der Figur 1.FIG. 2 shows a section along line A in FIG. 1.
