- Device, comprising a cutting and stretching device (3, 10) as well as a take-up device (28), for manufacturing planar expanded material, the starting material of which is a foil web (1) that are conveyed between cutting rollers (4, 5), which are mounted one above the other and formed by individual top smooth cutting blades and bottom cutting blades, which by means of alternating recesses in the cutting region form the cutting length, wherein the stretching device (10) has toothed belt pairs (18, 19) or similar conveying means, which extend over partially driven guide rollers (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17) and which hold the foil web (1) fast at its edges and by means of the tooth formation effect the forward motion, characterized in that the stretching device (10) has on each side of the foil web (1) a toothed belt pair (18, 19), which by means of sliding blocks (22, 23, 30) of an articulated, optionally rigid design, which are disposed in the inner region of the toothed belts (18, 19), conveys the foil web (1) by one side edge vertically upwards out of the horizontal plane, while the other side edge of the foil web (1) is conveyed in an identical manner vertically downwards, i.e. forming a scissor movement, and a stretching of the foil web (1) is formed over the resulting diagonal (1a).
- Stretching device according to claim 1, characterized in that the sliding blocks (30) have joints (29) and said joints are height-adjustable.
- Stretching device according to claim 1 and 2, characterized in that the top sliding block (22) is designed to be displaceable (24) at right angles to the toothed belt inner surface.
- Stretching device according to claim 1 to 3, characterized in that the sliding surfaces of the top sliding block (22) and of the bottom sliding block (23) in the equidistant spacing are designed as straight planes, and/or optionally surfaces provided with a radius R, which form a gradual transition into the stretched position relative to the foil web (1a).
