Die Erfindung betrifft eine Steckverbindung zwischen einem Flachbandkabel und einem für Flachbandkabel geeigneten Stecker. Im Stand der Technik sind Steckvorrichtungeri bekannt, in die Flachbandkabel ohne Verrastung in Stecker eingelegt werden können. Dies erfolgt insbesondere manuell, da eine automatische Kontrolle einer richtigen Kontaktierung nur auf elektrischem Wege durchgeführt werden kann.The invention relates to a plug connection between a ribbon cable and a connector suitable for ribbon cable. Diese Aufgabe wird dadurch gelöst, dass das Flachbandkabel mit einer Markierung versehen wird. Nach Montage des Flachbandkabel in den Stecker ist es möglich, die Lage der Markierung im Verhältnis zum Stecker optisch zu überprüfen und somit festzustellen, ob das Flachbandkabel korrekt montiert ist. Die Markierung ist insbesondere als Markierungslinie ausbildbar, die besonders vorteilhafter weise sich in rechtem Winkel zum Verlauf des Flachbandkabels erstreckt. Fig. 1 zeigt ein Flachbandkabel 1 mit Markierung 2 und weiterhin einen Stecker 3, der auf einer Leiterplatte 4 angeordnet und mit dieser elektrisch verbunden ist. Die Markierung 2 weist einen hohen Kontrast gegenüber der Flexleitung 1 auf. Die Markierung 2 kann in jeder beliebigen Form sein, so ist es insbesondere auch möglich, nur an den Rändern des Flachbandkabels farbliche Markierungen vorzusehen. Es ist auch möglich, die Markierungen plastisch durch z. B. Bänder oder Einkerbungen darzustellen.
