Abstract
An air conditioner indoor unit and a method of assembling the unit, where a heat exchanger can be easily installed. An air conditioner indoor unit (2) has a cross-flow fan (71), an indoor heat exchanger (50), and a lower casing (70). The indoor heat exchanger (50) has a substantially reversed letter V-shaped cross section. An auxiliary piping where a refrigerant flows is connected to the indoor heat exchanger (50), which is provided so as to cover the cross-flow fan (71) from above. The lower casing (70) supports the cross-flow fan (71). Each part of the lower casing (70) is positioned at a height equal to or below the height of the top portion of the cross-flow fan (71).
