Description

The present invention relates to an outsole for a sports shoe, in particular cross-country skiing or telemark shoe, according to the preamble of claim 1.

In practice, outsoles for cross-country skiing or telemark shoes are known, which are provided on the shaft side with longitudinal and transverse ribs. These longitudinal and transverse ribs define corresponding recesses so that maximum stability, in particular torsional stability, is obtained with minimal material expenditure. The applicant has been producing and selling such outsoles under the trademark "NNN" for years. These outsoles are further characterized in that they each have on the running side two Längsführungsnuten and adjoining transverse grooves, wherein the Längsführungsnuten extend over the entire sole length and cooperate with complementary longitudinal guide ribs on an associated ski binding plate. At the front end of the sole a transverse axis within a running side provided recess for articulated connection to a ski binding is provided on the running side, wherein the articulation is such that the heel can be lifted freely. The Längsführungsnuten are not only formed within the tread, but also within the outsole itself. As a result, the flexural elasticity is significantly impaired, especially in the metatarsophalangeal region of the outsole. To solve this problem is in the EP 0 787 440 B1 proposed to make the outsole of a sports shoe of two parts, wherein the rear is rigid and the front part is made of a soft material. However, this embodiment has the disadvantage that the sole can not be made continuously from one and the same material, for example by injection molding. The effort for sole production is therefore disproportionately large, in the EP 0 787 440 B1 In this regard, it is proposed to add the front and rear parts with overlapping each other.

From the DE 31 13 942 A1 is also an outsole for a cross-country ski boot of the type in question here known, said known outsole comprising the features of the preamble of claim 1.

Based on the aforementioned prior art, the present invention seeks to develop an outsole referred to in the preamble of claim 1 species so that both the flexural elasticity and the torsional stability can be set even more precise without additional manufacturing effort.

This object is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1.

An essential aspect of the present invention is therefore that at least the front portion of the existing of relatively hard material outsole has no grooves or ribs, which counteract the flexibility at least in the region of the so-called metatarsophalangeal zone. The front portion of the hard base or outsole is formed as a thin-walled and both inside and outside substantially smooth shell.

The outsole is preferably made of a plastic having a modulus of elasticity of between 200 MPa and 250 GPa, in particular between 350 MPa and 200 GPa, wherein the modulus of elasticity determines the thickness in the front section such that the thickness is higher in percentage with greater elasticity than with less elasticity , That is, the stiffer the sole material is formed, the thinner must be designed at least in the metatarsophalangeal region, the bottom sole with a correspondingly thicker design of the softer tread.

As mentioned, the outsole according to the invention should be designed with at least one Längsführungsnut and at least in the metatarsophalangeal zone with one or more transverse grooves, these grooves are formed at least in the front portion of the outsole substantially only within the tread of softer material. The front sole portion, which is made of a harder material, so represents a thin-walled and both inside and outside substantially smooth shell. By the aforementioned shell configuration, the required rigidity, in particular torsional stiffness of the outsole is guaranteed.

The configuration according to claim 5, according to which the transverse grooves are arched in each case at least in the front section, increases the stability of the sole, in particular torsional stability, with unchanged flexibility.

Also worth mentioning is the detailed construction according to claim 8, according to which are integrated in the lateral boundary of the recess at the front sole end for receiving a transverse axis with this anchoring elements, in particular made of metal. These anchoring elements are required in particular when the transverse axis is to be anchored in the relatively soft tread. Of course, it is also conceivable, in a conventional manner, the recess at the front sole end for receiving the transverse axis by two To limit side cheeks made of hard sole material, which are integrally connected to the outsole.

The tread is either welded or glued to the outsole on the running side.

Finally, it should be mentioned that with unchanged predetermined total thickness, the thickness of the front portion of the outsole, which is made of a harder material, starting from the metatarsophalangeal bending zone at least in the direction towards the rear steadily increasingly form. The rear portion, in particular the heel of the outsole, is preferably formed conventionally, i. provided on the shank side with material and weight-reducing recesses.

Fig. 1
eine erfindungsgemäß ausgebildete Laufsohle in perspektivischer Ansicht von unten;
Fig. 2
Fig. 3
Hereinafter, a preferred embodiment of an outsole according to the invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. This shows in:
Fig. 1
an outsole according to the invention in a perspective view from below;
Fig. 2
the outsole according to Fig. 1 in plan view and enlarged scale; and
Fig. 3
a longitudinal section through the outsole according to the Fig. 1 and 2 Longitudinal line III-III in Fig. 2 , on a smaller scale.

In the Fig. 1 and 2 is an outsole 10 for a cross-country ski boot each shown from the bottom. This outsole consists of a rear, a shoe heel 13 comprehensive section 11 and a front, slightly cup-shaped, ie flat shell-shaped configured section 12, wherein the outsole 10 continuously made of a relatively hard material, in particular plastic and running side both in the front and in the Region of the rear portion is provided with a tread 14 of relatively soft, especially rubber-like material. This tread 14 defines together with the associated outsole portions 11 and 12 a predetermined total sole thickness or sole height "h", as in Fig. 3 in the area of a so-called metatarsophalangic Bending zone "M" is shown. The front portion 12 of the outsole 10 is formed at least on the shaft side - in the illustrated embodiment, the running side - substantially continuous smooth. Furthermore, the front portion 12 of the outsole 10 at unchanged predetermined total thickness "h" of hard and soft material at least in the metatarsophalangeal zone "M" a significantly reduced thickness "d", the maximum about 50%, in particular - as well shown here - 25-30% of the total thickness "h" of hard and soft material corresponds.

The outsole is made of a plastic with a modulus of elasticity as stated above. It can be produced in a simple manner by injection molding. The tread of soft material is welded on the side of the harder material or glued on.

Running side, the outsole has two Längsführungsnuten 15 and a plurality of transverse grooves 16, said grooves are formed substantially only within the tread 14 of softer material. The reason for at least the longitudinal grooves 15 in the region of the front sole portion is defined by the relatively hard material of the outsole. Preferably, the longitudinal and transverse grooves are formed so that their depth is dimensioned approximately equal.

As the Fig. 1 and 2 can be seen very well, the transverse grooves 16 are formed both in the front portion 12 and in the rear portion 11 each arcuate to the rear.

At the front end of the outsole to the running side open recess 17 is formed, within which a transverse axis 18 is arranged for articulated connection to a ski binding, not shown. The recess 17 is bounded laterally by two webs 19 of hard sole material. Alternatively, the limitation can also be done by the tread 14. In the latter case, it is expedient to integrate into the lateral boundary of the recess 17 with the transverse axis 18 connected anchoring elements made of metal.

Of the Fig. 3 can still be found that with unchanged predetermined total thickness "h", the thickness "d" of the front portion 12 of the harder material sole from the metatarsophalangeal zone "M" both in the backward direction also steadily increasing towards the front. Thus, a metaphalangic bending zone "M" is defined by the dimensioning of hard and soft material.

The heel 13 may be formed in a conventional manner, in particular as in Fig. 3 shown. That is, the paragraph has on the shank side material and weight reducing recesses 20.

It should also be noted at this point that it is possible to dimension the depth of the transverse grooves according to the depth of the Längsführungsnuten by the smooth, flat-shell-like design of the front portion of the outsole 10. The transverse grooves can not collide with recesses on the shaft side of the outsole.
